Abstract:
Waterlogging is one of the major abiotic constraints on growth and yield of maize (Zea mays L.). This article reviewed the research about the effect and the response of physiology and biochemistry on maize under waterlogging, as well as the progress of cultivation and tillage technique and genetic improvement on maize by human. Some suggestions were made on research about improve the abilities on maize under waterlogging in the future.
