Abstract:

In order to clarify photosynthetic characteristics on simplified pruning in Camellia oleifera and provide evidence for rational pruning and high photosynthetic efficiency tree body structure. The study used the field experiment and photosynthetic factors observation on the Camellia oleifera adult trees which analyzed them photosynthetic diurnal variation and its interrelated factors by statistical methods as correlation analysis and path analysis. The results displayed that the photosynthetic capacity could improved and the net photosynthetic rate were higher than control. Net photosynthetic rate was very significantly positive correlated with transpiration rate, light intensity, air temperature, stomatal conductance and vapor pressure deficit on leaf, and relative humidity was very significantly negative correlated with the intercellular CO2 concentration. The effect order was transpiration rate>the intercellular CO2 concentration>light intensity>stomatal conductance>relative humidity. Correlation between diurnal variation and chlorophyll content was related to time. The study demonstrated that the Camellia oleifera tree body photosynthetic performance can markedly improve by simplified pruning, and simplified pruning was a effective way for regulation of adult Camellia oleifera tree.
