Abstract:

To keep and breed Platycerium wallichii Hook, this article used the method of indoor anemic cultivation and conventional breeding cultivation to culture spores. By researching the spores germination rate in different temperature and matrix, we observed the process of gametophyte development. The results indicated: The preference temperature of spore germination was about 24℃, the training matrix contained humus and river sand (volume than 1:1) with 92% germination rate. More sexual generation for dioecious, Sexual reproduction rate reached over 90%. Many factors constraint sexual generation such as temperature, light, humidity and pH. In this paper, the method of rejuvenation of young spore seedings was economic and feasible, also the effect was obvious. This method has provided detailed and based material for breeding and production.
