Abstract:
The acute toxicity test was carried out, in order to study the toxicity symptom of juveniles of tawny puffer, so as to provide scientific basis for scientific research and production. In this experiment, the acute toxic effect of ammonia nitrogen on juveniles of tawny puffer (Takifugu flavidus) was studied under the conditions of normal salinity (20‰) and pH 8.30. The results showed that the 48 h and 96 h LC50 with 95% confidence limits of ammonia nitrogen for tawny puffer were 3.855 mg/L (3.356-4.385 mg/L) and 2.824 mg/L (2.672-2.987 mg/L). The safety concentration of ammonia nitrogen on juveniles of tawny puffer was 0.282 mg/L.
