Abstract:
In order to evaluate environmental safety of spirodiclofen in orange and soil, establish the use standard in orange, the field trials on the dissipation and final residue of spirodiclofen were carried out in Changsha, Hangzhou during 2010-2011. The results showed that, the average recoveries of spirodiclofen from orange and soil sample at three spiked levels of 0.05 mg/kg, 0.5 mg/kg and 1 mg/kg, ranged from 82.2% to 110% with variation coefficient from 2.55% to 9.84%. Degradation dynamics of spirodiclofen based on first-order reaction dynamic equations in orange and soil, the half-lives of spirodiclofen were 3.43-8.33 days, 6.35-10.65 days. The final residue of spirodiclofen in peel, pulp and soil were not detected (<0.0035 mg/kg), not detected (<0.0035 mg/kg)-0.1978 mg/kg, not detected (<0.0035 mg/kg)-0.2401 mg/kg, lower than the provisions of maximum residue limit of 0.5 mg/kg in EU. According to application dosage and times of spirodiclofen for reference the maximum residue limits (0.5 mg/kg) by EU, orange was safe to eat after spirodiclofen being sprayed after 20 days.
