Abstract:

To study the morphology and density of SS and cells in the digestive tract of the Elaphe dione. The method of the ABC immunohistochemical technique, the results indicated that SS positive cells distributed throughout the digestive tract with the highest density in the cardia, corpus and pylorus, followed by duodenum, and lowest in the oesophagus, ileum and rectum; Gas cells distributed mainly in the pyloricus, duodenum and jejunum, and data were no statistically different among these regions. It might be related to the function of various parts of the digestive tract.
