Abstract:
In order to investigate the chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of 3 Hevea brailiensis cultivars adopted universally in China, it will lay a foundation for the research on resistance of rubber tree. In this study, the chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of three Hevea brailiensis cultivars, GT1, RRIM600, PR107 were investigated by using the chlorophyll fluorescence technique. The results showed that: the apparent electron transport rate (ETR) in the leaves of GT1 was significantly higher than the other two cultivars, the PSII actual photosynthetic quantum yield Y(II) and non-photochemical reaction dissipation (Ex) were slightly higher than the other two cultivars; the Fv/Fm, Fo, Fm, Fv, Fv/Fo, Y(NPQ), qP in the leaves of RRIM600 were slightly higher than the other two cultivars, while qN was significantly higher than the other two cultivars. All those indicated that the primary light energy capture efficiency and electron transfer ability in GT1 were higher than the other two cultivars, the proportion of the absorption of light energy for photochemical reaction was less; the photosynthetic potential and light adaption in the leaves of RRIM600 were better than the other two cultivars, more photosynthate for the growth of tree and the synthesis of latex might be synthesized by leaves under the suitable condition.
