Abstract:
To observe the hepatoprotective effects of Rosa laevigata Michx polysaccharide (RLP) on acute hepatic injury mice induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). The acute hepatic injury mice of model was induced by CCl4. The levels of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), aspartate transminase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were assayed by spectrophotometry in order to observe hepatoprotective effect of RLP. The results showed that, High-dosage RLP could significantly decreased liver index (P<0.05) and spleen index (P<0.01). Both high-dosage RLP and middle-dosage RLP could significantly decreased ALP, AST and ALT in the serum (P<0.01), but that of in liver tissue was just the opposite. And the above 2 groups could significantly decreased MDA and increased GSH-Px, GSH and SOD content (P<0.05 or P<0.01) in liver tissue of CCl4 poisoned mouse. RLP has hepatoprotective effect on acute hepatic injury in mice induced by CCl4.
