Abstract: A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of plant density and phosphorus application rate on yield of vegetable soybean variety, Lu75. The result showed that branches per plant, pods per branch, pods of main stem, pods per plant, seed weight per plant, seed number per plant and plot yield could be increased with the treatment of 270kg of phosphorus application rate per hectare. Whereas the density treatment of 450 000 plants per hectare could result in the increase of pods per plant, but decrease of 100-seed weight. It was showed that branches per plant and pods per branch, seed wight per plant and seed number per plant could be augmented with the factor interaction of 270kg phosphorus application rate and 450 000 plants per hectare. Increasing phosphorus application rate could effectively improve pods of main stem and pods per plant as density was 225 000-450 000. Phosphorus application could make pods of main stem and pods per plant increased. When phosphorus use was the same in amount, the yield could be increased with the density increasing.
