Abstract: In this research, the bulbils from various parts of the low lily(Lilium pumilum DC) were being studied upon the variation of its content materials such as sugar、amylum、protein、amino acid and the enzyme activities of the POD、SOD etc in its startup culture process. The relationship between the internal physiological-biochemical varying regulations in the tissue culture process and the organs differentiation in the body-segregation culture of the low lily were also being sought for. The results indicated that: in the startup culture process of the low lily, the enzyme activity degree of the POD、SOD were relatively correlated with the differentiating ratio of the explants. During the initial start-up culture stage of explants, the soluble sugar、protein and amylum were mainly used to provide nutrition for its differentiation, and their concentration degree had no significant correlations with the tissue differentiation ratio.
