Advances in the Studies on the Application of Marine Microorganism in Biological Pesticides

Abstract

Abstract: Plant diseases and insect pests was the enemy of agricultural production, and the main method of the agricultural plant diseases and insect pests’ prevention and control was using chemical pesticide, but due to the dangers of chemical pesticides on the environment and human, the research of biological pesticide had great significance. Because of the scarcity of land resources, people moved eyes to marine resources. This article summarized the marine microorganisms used in the latest research progress of biological pesticide, and briefly introduced the secondary metabolites of marine microorganisms and the biological pesticide, and focused on four aspects from insecticide, bactericide, degradation of organic-phosphorous pesticides and herbicide. The prospect of marine microorganisms used into biological pesticide was proposed.
