Abstract: The associations among yield and yield components, and their direct and indirect influence on the grain yield of hybrid rice were investigated. For this purpose, 33 combinations made from the most commonly used breeding lines in Sichuan were tested in a randomized complete block experiment design with three replications. The 8 yield related traits or indexes were used as correlation, principle components analysis. The result shows that we can increase the yield through improve the panicle weight.
