Research on Rapid Propagation of Strawberry Based on Plant Micropropagation Bioreactor

Abstract: To explore the suitable condition on liquid culture multiplication for strawberry in a plant micropropagation bioreactor, an experiment was designed with an environment of different inoculation quantity, infiltration time, culture fluid volume and sucrose concentration, in which the sterile strawberry was taken as material, the liquid culture was based on MS without agar. The results showed that it was better for the multiplication of strawberry in the plant micropropagation bioreactor, in which the culture can be changed automatically. The coefficient of multiplication reached 9.83 on average and the average number of proliferation buds achieved 295 per bottle under the condition with the inoculation quantity of 30 per bottle, the infiltration frequency of 6 times per 24h in 1 min’s span, the culture fluid volume of 150 ml per bottle, and the sucrose concentration of 20 g/L. The method was significantly superior to the traditional solid cultivation, providing a technical basis for factory production of strawberry.
