Abstract: The paper aims to study the effects of plant growth regulators on induction of adventitious buds of Hevea brasiliensis Mull.Arg. Apical buds and stems of Hevea brasiliensis clone Yunyan73-477 were used as explants, the effects of 6-BA, NAA, KT and GA₃ on induction of adventitious bud were studied by orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the effect of each factor on the coefficient of breeding of apical buds was NAA＞6-BA＞KT＞GA₃, and 1.0 mg/L 6-BA 0.2 mg/L NAA 0.2 mg/L KT 0.4 mg/L GA₃ was the optimal combination; the effects of four factors except KT were significantly different at 0.05 level on the coefficient of breeding of stem. The effect of NAA and GA₃ were significantly different at 0.01 level on the dead rate of stem, but 6-BA and KT were not. 1.5 mg/L 6-BA 0.1 mg/L NAA 0.2 mg/L KT 0.2 mg/L GA₃ was the optimal combination on induction of adventitious bud of stems.
