Abstract: As a kind of the new fishery management entities, fishery family farm is also a focal point of cultivating and developing the new fishery management entities. Fishery family farms are developing rapidly at present, which has become important driving force in promoting modern fishery development and fishermen’s income. But many problems such as non-unified standards, capital and technology constraint, weak anti-risk ability and scarcity of talents have been exposed in the development of fishery family farms. Therefore, to promote the healthy and orderly development of the fishery family farm, we need to promulgate the identification principles and standards of fishery family farm as soon as possible, perfecting the social service system of fishery family farms, strengthening the construction of the talents team of fishery family farms, and striving to create a good policy environment.
