Abstract: In order to improve the level of rural“Five Guarantees”and meet the material and spiritual needs of the elderly with“Five Guarantees”that nursed in rural seniors’home, this paper took seniors’homes in Chakouyi as a case, using the method of observation and interview from the demand perspective, to investigate living conditions of the elderly with“Five Guarantees” . The results showed that most elderly with“Five Guarantees”in the seniors’home had problems such as lacking life and medical care, lacking spiritual comfort and social interaction and so on. The key to solve the above problems was to increase government financial input, update ideas, pay attention to spiritual support and strengthen on-the-job personnel training, etc.
