Analysis of Study Orientation for Potato

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, the authors analyzed the study orientation in the research field of potato based on present situation. At present, most academic researches focus on micro study, but in the future, research on macro level will be prosperous due to its significance and importance. The study on macro level will particularly be implemented in four aspects: extraction of spatial distribution data of potato by remote sensing technology, assimilation of agronomic model and remote sensing technology, dynamic change mechanism of spatial distribution for potato and simulation of spatial distribution and yield. In addition, the authors made an overview of study progress for the above-mentioned aspects, and believe that integration of remote sensing, GIS, spatial statistics and computer simulation technology for detecting spatial structure change for potato will be beneficial to optimizing potato plantation layout and ensuring China’s food security.
