Abstract: 70 hybrids were gotten by cross between 7 Dian-type sterile lines with different cytoplasms and 10 strains selected as female and male parents respectively. In 10 male parents, 5 strains are the maintainer lines and other 5 strains are the restorer lines used in Dian-1-type. These hybrid combinations were analyzed about angel between sword leaf and panicle, ratio of length and breadth of sword leaf, plant height, panicle length and the grain number of panicle. The result is that ratio of length and breadth of sword leaf, plant height, panicle length and the grain number of panicle are controlled by the female parents in Dian-type hybrid rice. It is very important to think of agronomic traits of sterile lines in the Dian-type hybrid rice breeding programs.
