Abstract: Village is the unique connotation of traditional Chinese society, and it is the foundation and important carrier of village culture formation. Now the village culture is confronted with the dilemma of cultural fracture, cultural foundation shaking, disintegrated cultural ecological pattern and culture inheriting crisis. The author sums up the significance of the village cultural inheritance and development as: forming village community consciousness and maintains the pattern of village autonomy, and promoting the formation of common values of villages and the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture, and puts forward countermeasures as: constructing the scientific and effective management system, establishing a diversified financing mechanism, developing practical laws and regulations, coordinating the relationship between the urbanization construction and village development. To inherit and develop the village culture, protect it in development, and improve the quality of development in protection.
