Abstract: Experiment was aimed on studing the problem of browning control during the shoot tip culture of Pellicular Walnut . Results showed that the best way of preventive methods for the browning of explanted tissue is that the explants of Walnut was cultured in the dark on DKW medium added with 6-BA 1.0 mg?L-1 +IAA 0.01 mg?L-1 +20% Na2S2O3 5 ml?L-1 at 25 oC for 15~20d after dark culture on 1/2MS medium added with activated carbon 2g at 5 oC for 7d , and then , transplant the subculture plantlet on the same medium at intervals of 15~20d .
