Research on Photosynthesis Characteristic of Psammophyte (Agriophyllm squarrosum)

Abstract: Changes on diurnal and seasonal photosynthesis rates (Pn) of Agriophyllm squarrosum, which is annual plant species in sand, were measured by LI-6200 Photosynthesis Analyzer. It shows that Pn diurnal change of Agriophyllm squarrosum appears a curve with two peaks. Its first and second apex value respectively is 13.38μmol/(m2·s) and 9.428μmol/(m2·s) The mean apex value of Pn in seasonal change is 7.3428μmol/(m2·s) of July. Light compensation poit of Agriophyllm squarrosum is rather low and the value is 127.3μmol/(m2·s). The average value of water-used efficiency (WUE) of Agriophyllm squarrosum in growth season is 0.5707 and maximum is 0.7145 of June. Correlation analyse between Pn and its omnibus influence factors draw the conclusion that Pn has a high positive correlation with photons density (QNTM), vapor pressure (EAIR) and transpiration rate (TRAN) and has a negative correlation with intercellular CO2 concentration (CINT). The regression equation between Pn and its influence factors is educed.
