Abstract: Leaf mould is a widespread disease of tomato in the world. Its pathogen has been verified to be Cladosporium fulvum Cooke. This disease has become one of the most seriously leaf disease with the increasing areas of green-house vegetable since 1980’s, which has a bad effect on the yield and quality of tomato production. Many scientists have worked a lot on morphological characteristic、biological characteristic、infection symptom and epidemic law of Cladosporium fulvum Cooke. They have made some effective protective measures to reduce loss for this disease. This paper summarized the above-mentioned progresses and some existing problems in nowadays. Two promising bio-protective ways, including bio-pesticide and genetic engineering for plant disease resistance, were also put forward and discussed in this paper.This paper summarized morphological characteristic、biological characteristic、infection symptom and epidemic law of Cladosporium fulvum Cooke，generalized the integrated control measure of the tomato leaf mould，and put forward some necessary research projects in the near future.
