Abstract: In 2003~2004, invetigations on the plant diseases and pest communities in organic Oolong Tea orchard were carried out in Baise. The dominant species were mainly Empoasca(Empoasca)vitis(Gōthe), Polyphagotarsonemus latus(Banks), Scirtothrips dosalis Hood, Toxoptera aurnantii Fonscolombe, Edobasidium rexans Massee and Gloeosporium theae-sinensis Miyake. The population dynamics of Empoasca(E)vitis(Gōthe)within a year displays double peak curve. April and july is the two peak of its population. The occurrence amount of Polyphagotarsonemus latus(Banks) and Scirtothrips dosalis Hood were higher in early spring. All of this pests were tend to burgeon of the tea-trees, the propagation of Scirtothrips dosalis Hood which on the top of the tea-trees was significant. Based on the occurrence regulation and biologic characteristics of this plant diseases and pest, we put forward the effectual control technology, include.picking and botanical pesticides.
