Abstract: Effects of EGF on the in vitro maturation and parthenogenetic development of bovine oocytes were studied. The maturation rates of oocytes which cultured at maturation medium with supplementation of 10ng/ml, 30ng/ml EGF respectively had no significant different with control group (no supplementation of EGF)(79.8% vs 71.5% vs 70.4%, p>0.05), but when the EGF concentration up to 50ng/ml, the rates of Pb1 extraction (85.4%) have significant different with the control group (70.4%)(p<0.01); Supplementation of cultured media with EGF at the concentration of 10, 30, 50ng/ml didn’t cause a significant increase in the rate of blastocyst formation, however, rates of hatched blastocyst at the groups which the cultured medium supplementation with EGF were higher than control group respectively (no addition of EGF) (p<0.05).
