Abstract: Analysis of salt endurance of 9 alfalfa varieties was done in the period of 2 years. The result showed that Affinity, Jetta, Liangmu No.5, Royal Crown grew vigorously in seedling stage, and their salt endurance and comprehensive characteristic were good. They were suitable for planting widely in the area of saline-alkali soil of eastern Hebei. And Algangen was the worst in seedling stage, salt endurance and comprehensive characteristic, and is not proper for the region.
