Abstract: The Ceratoides lanata is a native plant of North America, and was introduced to Minqin Botanical Garden in 2001. The adaptation characteristic was researched for extended greatly. The experimentation by pot and field was used to measure wither index of sandy soil and clay of Ceratoides lanata, and resisting ability to saline threaten by pot. The wither indexes of sandy soil and clay are 1.25% and 2.96% by field experimentation. The Ceratoides lanata will be harmed, when total solution salt of sulphate-chloride is 8.03g/kg. It is far greater that the total solution salt thereat the plant than that single salt. The color of foliage will being fade by threatened salt and dry of soil, while it will be rust-red at threatened salt.
