  Application of FAST Method in Determination of the Presence of Reconstitued Milk Bu Dengpan, Li Shucong, Zhang Ruichao, Zhou Linyun, Yu Jianguo, Wei Hongyang, Wang Jiaqi 2006, 22 (11):  1-1.  Abstract + ( 1440 )   PDF ( 851348KB )   ( 604 ) The FAST method is based on quantification of protein denaturation by means of Trp fluorescence (FTrp) and accumulation of fluorescent Maillard products (FAMP) in the pH 4.6-soluble fraction of the milk. The fluorescence of raw milk, pasteurized milk ,and milk power was determined. Trp fluorescence was much lower in reconstituted milk compared to fresh milk, whereas the fluorescence of advanced Maillard products(FAMP) increased during heat treatment applied to fresh milk. As the proportion of reconstituted milk increased in fresh milk , the FTrp decreased linearly and FAMP increased linearly. The FAST method can be an effective way in determination of the presence of reconstituted milk in fresh or Pasteaurized milk.

  Research of a RT-PCR Assay for Multiple Genes Detection on Tiger Influenza Virus He Wenqi,, Gao Yuwei, Xia Xianzhu, Yang Songtao, Wang Ligang, Liu Dan 2006, 22 (11):  16-16.  Abstract + ( 1401 )   PDF ( 505180KB )   ( 601 ) In order to diagnose quickly tiger influenza in clinic, using the tiger influenza virus (TIV) sequence and the influenza A virus sequence information available in the Genbank data base, the primers were selected from conserved region of a target gene specific for TIV type (NP) and subtype (HA,NA) for use in RT-PCR. Specific primers were desiged for NP, HA, NA gene with Primer5.0 primer design software, DNA fragments of sizes 464, 581 and 173 bp, respectively, were amplified. The primers to be in common used for influenza A virus were desiged for use in the synthesis of cDNAs. Optimize the reaction condition and establish a multiplex RT-PCR in a single step for simultaneous detection of the TIV 3 genes fragments. The assay were applied in clinical diagnosis. This decision was made following the results of a comparison with electron microscope, hemagglutination /hemagglutination inhibition and isolation of the virus in tissue culture or allantoic fluid. The results were that the sensitivity of detection was about 100 TCID50, an excellent concordance between diagnosis by the RT-PCR and culture was demonstrated, and the RT-PCR in detection of TIV is more sensitive and rapid than above mentioned methods. So the method described here is very practicable and valuable in clinical diagnosis or in laboratory application.

The homology was analyzed based on the reported collagen X sequence of human, mouse, cow and pig in Gen Bank. A pair of specific primers was designed in the conservative relatively sectors. The methods of isolation and culture sika deer antler chondrocytes were established. Sika deer antler chondrocytes were cultured, total RNA was extracted from the cultured cells. The sequence encoding deer antler collagen X was cloned from the cartilage cells of sika deer antler by means of the specific primers with the methods of RT-PCR. The cloned was 877 bp with an ORF. This sequence encoded 292 amino acids. The homology of the nucleotide sequence of sika deer collagen X with cow was 96%, and the homology of deduced amino acids between them was 95.5%.

  Main Resources of Wild Ornamental Grasses andits Evaluation in Shandong Province Zhao Yan, Qi Haifeng, Zhang Zhiguo 2006, 22 (11):  23-23.  Abstract + ( 1777 )   Ornamental grass, as a new kind of ornamental plants, had great value in the construction of city green spaces and ecological landscape. However, few acquaintances and research on ornamental grasses has been conducted in China. The definition, application and prospect of wild ornamental grasses were discussed in this paper. The species, aesthetics and distribution of main ornamental grasses in Shandong Province were primarily evaluated. The results showed that there were great potential for 13 wild ornamental grasses (Pennlsetum alopecuroides et al,)which could be wisely used to the landscape in Shandong province. They were were described detailedly.

  Study on Productive Power of Foreign Alfalfa Varieties Hou Baizhi, Yang Haozhe, Cai Haixia 2006, 22 (11):  25-25.  Abstract + ( 1699 )   PDF ( 146295KB )   ( 569 ) The introduced alfalfa varieties were planted under the same environmental for 3 years, growth period, the yield and leaf/stem were studied. The results showed that the earliest varieties were Amerigraze, Total+Z，WL324.The results in yield characteristics showed that the highest and higher varieties in dry matter (DM)were WL324 and Sandal, Debo; The leaf/stem of WL323ml is highest and Total+Z, Sandal are higher. Generally, WL323 and Sandal have both high yield and good quality.

  Establishment a Colloidal gold-Immunochromatographic Assay of B.melitensis by Monoclonal Antibodies Against B.melitensis 16M Tang Jingfeng, Li Xiaoyan, Mei Jianjun, Liu Kai, Wang Xinglong 2006, 22 (11):  28-28.  Abstract + ( 1594 )   PDF ( 200128KB )   ( 742 ) objective To prepare a monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against LPS and O-chain of B.melitensis 16M and establish colloidal gold-immunochromatographic assay (GICA) for diagnosis of Brucellosis. Methods B.melitensis 16M was used to immunize Balb/C mice and the mAbs were prepared using hybridoma technique followed by identification of IgG isotype and its affinity. HiTrap Protein G HP affinity chromatography was employed to purify the antibodies, which were labeled with colloidal gold for establishment of GICA .The best optimization reaction pattern was obtained and installed dipstick, which of specificity, sensitivity, stability and positive samples were tested. Results The hybridoma cells of 2D10、3C6、1E10 were obtained and identified as IgG2a and IgG1 of IgG isotypes with affinity constants (Kaff) ranging from 1×10-8 to 2.6×10-9. 3C6and 2D10 were each optimized coating and labeling antibodies. When labeling IgG were 30μg/ml,the detection result were best, meanwhile,to contrast the polyclonal antibody IgG of B.melitensis 16M and 2D10 were coating antibody and labeling antibodies, two different dipsticks， limit of detection were 5.0×103CFU/ml,and no cross-reacting.The keep time were ≥100d.To contrast fluorescent quantitation PCR,the detection rate was 100% from 80 postive samples. Conclusion The established GICA is rapid and accurate for B.melitensis 16M detection with such potential utility as for instant diagnosis of Brucellosis.

  Study the Effects of Carnosine on Development of Muscle Fiber of Broilers Lu Jinfang, Ning Kang jian, Jin Guang ming, Wang Ming gen 2006, 22 (11):  33-33.  Abstract + ( 1486 )   PDF ( 144079KB )   ( 567 ) 400 one-day-old AA broilers were divided into four groups randomly . They were added 0,20,40 and 60 mg/L carnosine respectively in the drinking water at 1 to 4 groups. The diameter of fiber of breast muscle and leg muscle were determined on each weekend, and to observe the effects of the carnosine on development of muscle fiber diameter in broilers. The results showed that the breast and leg muscle fiber diameter of the carnosine experimental group were all bigger than the control group at one-week-old, but the difference wasn’t obvious (P >0.05). At two-week -old, breast fiber diameters of the moderate and high dose group were obviously or extremely bigger than the control group respectively(P<0.05,P<0.01).The leg muscle fiber diameters of the high dose group were extremely bigger than the control group (P<0.01). At three-week-old, breast muscle fiber diameters of the high dose group were extremely bigger than low group and the control group (P<0.01). The leg muscle fiber diameters of the high dose group was obviously bigger than the control group(P<0.05). At four-week-old, breast and leg muscle fiber diameters of smaller dose group were both smaller than the control group obviously (P<0.05). At five-week-old, breast fiber diameter of the moderate dose group was smaller than the control group obviously (P<0.05), the leg fiber diameter of the low and moderate dose group were extremely or obviously smaller than the control group respectively(P<0.01,P<0.05). At six -week-old, the muscle fiber diameters of the carnosine experimental group were all smaller than the control group, but the difference wasn’t obvious (P>0.05).However, muscle fiber diameters dealt with carnosine of which the development speed was faster than that of the control group at the 1 to 3 weeks- old while it was lower than that of the control group at the following three weeks in different doses.There were obvious dose effects in all groups with the carnosine at the 1 to 3 weeks.

The result showed that the different breed of recipients and season had not significant effect on embyro transfer. when one,two,three embryo(s) were（was）transferred，the pregnancy rates of recipient were not significantly different; howeve, pregnancy rate of embryos declined serioursly in the recepter goats transfered two to three embryos(p＜0.01＝

Based on the morphological observation, epithelial cells of the scent glands were isolated and cultured in vitro initially. The results showed that a great quantity of dispersed cells in single state was available for primary culture by digestion with 1mg/ml Collagenase IV for 5 h and 0.25mg/ml Trypsin for 15min at 37℃; DME/F12 containing 10% fetal bovine serum, penicillin(100U/ml)and streptomycin(100U/ml), as well as EGF at the concentration of 10ng/ml, could obviously improve the survival and proliferation of these cells; the epithelial cells could be serial subcultivated, freezed and thawed routinely as well; after the 5th passage, the epithelial cells were filled with many lipid dropleds, secreting and proliferating perfectly. These results suggest that it is feasible to produce artificial muskrat scent using cell engineering by isolating, culturing cystglanitd epithelial cell and furthmore establishing a musdrat cystgland epithelial cell line.

The materials are aseptic stem segments with cotyledons from Canada. The results showed that aseptic stem segments with cotyledons appreared more browning. Its browning rate reached even over 89.3%. Different concentrations of Vc or AC or PVP was added in medium, The results showed that VC is the best method on antibrowning and its suitable concentration is 1.5 g/L.

  Effects of Medium Components on Rooting of Soybean Plantlet under Controlled Environment Bao Shunshu, He Dongxian 2006, 22 (11):  60-60.  Abstract + ( 1528 )   PDF ( 688466KB )   ( 763 ) Micro culture environmental factors such as temperature, relative humidity, light intensity, and CO2 concentration are important to growth and development of plantlets in vitro. The aim of this study was to establish a culture process for soybean plantlet rooting under controlled environment. Single nodal soybean (Glycine max L.) explants each with 85 mg fresh mass were planted at two gas-permeable filtered culture vessels containing 70 ml medium and cultured at air temperature of 23±1℃, relative humidity of 65±5%, photosynthetic photon flux of 70±9 μmol/(m2·s), photoperiod of 16 h/d, and without CO2 control for 21 days. The medium components were MS basic ingredient and B5 medium vitamins appending six combinations of sugar (0, 20 g/L) and hormone (0.5 and 1.0 mg/L IBA; 0.5 and 1.0 mg/L NAA). The thickset rooting and growth of soybean plantlets were shown in all treatments and the treatment with 20 g/L sugar and 1.0 mg/L IBA showed greater growth variables and net photosynthetic rate than other treatments. The culture process using photoautotrophic micropropagation could be superior for soybean plantlet rooting compared to conventional tissue culture process.

In order to provide efficient pathway for commercial production of Atractylodes macrocephala, obtain medicinal secondary metabolite to meet great demand in herbal medicine, and avoid environment destruction induced by tradition cultivation mode of destroying native vegetation, a method for rapid micropropagation of Atractylodes macrocephala through plant regeneration by leaf and direct shoot multiplication were established in the paper .The effect of different cytokinin and concentration on callus introduction from leaf and direct shoot multiplication and the influence of different light and temperature on subcultured callus browning were investigated. The results showed that the highest rate of direct shoot multiplication (4.55 per bud ) was formed at MS+ 6-BA1 mg/L +NAA0.2 mg/L. The optimal substrate for callus introduction and plant regeneration from leaf was MS +KT 1mg/L+NAA0.2 mg/L where the highest callus introduction (96.7%) and proliferation (90%) were obtained. Different cytokinin and variable concentration had significant differences. The effect of KT on callus induction and proliferation was superior to 6-BA, whereas 6-BA was more efficient than KT at higher concentration of 2mg/L on direct shoot multiplication. Callus browning was related to different treatments of temperature and light, and it was availably controlled when cultured under 1000 lx light intensity and 20±0.5℃ temperature.

The result indicated that use 300mg/L IBA soaks with the density dips processing the cutting, 27~29 ℃ environmental condition raises under the matrix pearlite, the root rates to be possible to reach 85.5 %, after transplanted nursery stock's survival rate to reach 98 %, was opposite had a bigger enhancement to the alternative means. establishment of technology is helpful to the realization of commercial expansion.in grape factorization culture of seedling

  Preliminary Study on the Polyploidy Induction of Amorphophallus albus Liu Haoxia, Gao Qiguo, Xia Yongjiu , Zhang Shenglin 2006, 22 (11):  83-83.  Abstract + ( 1696 )   PDF ( 318381KB )   ( 649 ) Two methods, soaking seeds and dropping apical buds of rhizomes, are adopted to induce polyploidy of Amorphophallus albus. In order to obtain the most effective method of induction polyploid, the seedling rates and variance rates are compared by different concentrations of colchicine solution and different treatment time. The result shows that the seedling rates and variance rates of dropping rhizomes buds are higher than those of soaking seeds method, but the effect of induction polyploidy is inferior to soaking seeds. One tetraploid of A. albus is gotten by soaking seeds for 48 hours with 0.20% colchicine solution.

Polysaccharide was extracted by water．The time，temperature ，ethyl alcohol concentration and water weight ratio were considered as the main factors affecting this extraction．The experiments were first done on single factors．Then the orthogonal layout L9(34)was used．Results showed that the high extraction rate was 7.57％ at optimum conditions of the weight of Clematis chinensis Osbeck／water ratio of 1：15, 15h， 80℃ ， and the ethyl alcohol concentration of 80%．

  Establishment of Regeneration System from Leaves of 3 Populus Varieties Shen Zhougao, Xiang Yan, Cai Cheng, Wu Daqiang 2006, 22 (11):  90-90.  Abstract + ( 1576 )   PDF ( 1183760KB )   ( 768 ) This paper deals with regeneration system from leaves of 3 Populus varieties (Populus deltoides cv.’zhonglin-2001’, Populus deltoids Bartr. cv. Lux × P . euramericana（Dode）Guineir cv. I-45 / 51, Populus deltoides cl. Nankang) with fifteen induced callus media, six differentiation media and seven rooting media. The effects of genotype, hormone concentration and explants condition were investigated. The results indicated that the effect on induced callus and differentiation of the three Populus varieties were related to the ratio of NAA to 6-BA. The ratio of NAA to 6-BA on induced callus was 4:1~5:1. The stoma number of leaves face and back, induced callus and plant regeneration of different varieties were different. There were significant effects on induced callus from leaves which were culture on medium with leaves face up or back up, leaves edge or middle.

There are 7 families comparison with general slash pine(ab. CK). The contents of photosynthetic pigments are mensurated under feebleness water stress while soil water content is 55% to 60% and moderate water stress while soil water content is 35% to 40% and heavy water stress while soil water content is 20% to 25%. The test result indicate that either water grads or families of chlorophyll (Chl) and chlorophyll a (Chla) and chlorophyll b (Chlb) and Chla/Chlb and carotenoid (Caro) and Caro/Chl are mighty notable difference. The Chl and Chla and Chlb and Chla/Chlb little drop from normal soil water to initial water stress. Then drop obvious with increased water stress. The Caro and Caro/Chl little drop firstly from normal soil water to initial water stress,then up in metaphase water stress,after drop in evening water stress. The Chl and Chla and Chlb and Chla/Chlb and Caro of slash pine’half-sib are over general slash pine. The Chl and Chla and Chlb and Chla/Chlb and Caro of 464 and 1027 are over average value of slash pine’s half-sib under water stress. The Caro/Chl of 609 and 46 are over average value of slash pine’s half-sib under water stress. There are high contents of 464 and 1027 under water stress. It is one of the physiology reason with growth fast and high yield of 464 and 1027

  Study on callus induction and plant regeneration of Robinia pseudonacacia Zhai Xiaoqiao, Hu Wenyuan, Wang Nian, Zhao Penghui 2006, 22 (11):  103-103.  Abstract + ( 1430 )   A study was conducted on the technology of tissue culture and in vitro plantlet regeneration of Robinia pseudoacacia stems material. The results showed that media for the callus induction from stems and the shoot from callus were MS+ IBA 0.2mg/L+ BA3mg/Land MS+ IBA0.1mg/L+BA5mg/L respectively. that media for the rooting induction from shoots was1/2MS+ IBA 0.4mg/L。

  Study on the Relationship of Root Growth and Yield of Rice in Different Water Condition Wang Qiang, Fan Xiaolin, D. Klaus, B. Sattemacher 2006, 22 (11):  106-106.  Abstract + ( 1389 )   Field experiments with two treatments that were normal paddy rice and aerobic rice with straw mulching were set up to explore the relationship of root growth and yield of Rice in different water condition. The result showed that: The root/shoot ratio of aerobic rice was 23.2% higher than that of normal paddy rice. The maximum deepth of rice root was 28cm for normal paddy rice and 35cm for aerobic rice. From paddy to aerobic condition the respiration intensity of rice root increased obviously during grain-filling period. In the first season the range of yield decrease of root-cutting treatments for normal paddy rice was from 15% to 23%. However, the yield of aerobic rice with 1/4 root-cut treatment increased about 20%. In the second season the yields among treatments with root-cutting for normal paddy rice were not significantly difference, but for aerobic rice the yields declined with the degree of root cut off. The yield of treatment with 3/4 root-cut in aerobic rice decreased about 20.4% and the difference was significantly. In the first season root-cutting was in disadvantage of exportating reserved assimilate but was in advantage of concurrent photoassimilate accumulation. At last the weight of spiklet of aerobic rice increased with root-cutting whereas normal paddy rice decreased. In the second season, for aerobic rice the export of reserved assimilate decreased with root-cutting, whereas the concurrent photoassimilate increased with 1/4 root cut-off. Excessive root-cutting would bring down the accumulation of concurrent photoassimilate and result in the decrease of spiklet. For normal paddy rice root-cutting did not have much effect on the reserved assimilate exporting and concurrent photoassimilate increased with 1/4 root-cut treatment, but excessive root-cutting brought down the net accumulation of concurrent photoassimilate.

  Effects of 3 Sets of Cultivation Practices on Activities of Glutamate-oxaloacetate Transaminase(GOT) and Aspartokinase(AK) of 2 Combinations of Late Rice Peng Huihui,, Liu Qiang, Rong Xiangmin, Peng Jianwei, Xie Guixian, Tang Guirong 2006, 22 (11):  112-112.  Abstract + ( 1385 )   In order to give reason for generalizing high-protein and high-yield cultural integrative technology system of rice, two combinations of Peiliangyou288(high protein) and Peiliangyou210(low protein) were used to study the effects of high-protein and high-yield cultural integrative technology system of rice, san-zhuang-san-gao cultivation and practice cultivation on the activities of GOT and AK in functional leaves and grains of late cropping hybrid rice, based on the field experiment with the split-plot design.The results showed that high-protein and high-yield cultural integrative technology system of rice can obviously improve activities of GOT and AK in functional leaves and grains of Peiliangyou288 and Peiliangyou210, compared with san-zhuang-san-gao cultivation and practice cultivation. In functional leaves activities of GOT and AK on waxy stage increased by 11.41%~27.72% and 7.96%~47.45% respectively and activity of AK on maturing stage increased by 21.61%~163.76%, In grains activities of GOT and AK on maturing stage increased by 127.33%~175.36% and 16.36%~89.13% respectively.In addition, the contents of protein in brown rice increased by 1.61g/kg~23.26g/kg and the contents of amino acids in brown rice increased by 2.24%~44.09%. In these amino acids the contents of 7 kinds of amino acids essential for human health(Lys, Thr, Val, Met, Leu, Ile, Phe) in brown rice increased by 9.20%~58.05% and the contents of 11 kinds of amino acids essential for pig health(Lys, Thr, Val, Met, Leu，Ile，Phe, His, Arg, Cys, Tyr) in brown rice 4.47%~66.36%.

  The Study on Planting Method of Wide Row and Short Space between Plants of Mat Grass Qin Daozhu, Xu Minggang, Huang Pingna, Gao Jusheng 2006, 22 (11):  128-128.  Abstract + ( 1450 )   An Experiment of wide row and short space between plants (WRSSBP) planting methods of Mat Grass (Juncus effuses L) was carried out on paddy field developed by Quarternary Red Soil. The result showed that the optimum planting density with (WRSSBP) was 30 cm×15 cm, following by 25 cm×15 cm. The biomass yields were 13.20 t/hm2 and 12.76 t/hm2, and 23.5% and 19.3% higher significantly than normal planting method, respectively. The principle of increasing yield of WRSSBP were that exert margin advantage and harmonize development of individual and colony by decreasing space between plants and increasing row distance. The results of pen experiments showed that mid October was the optimum transplanting time and early-mid July was the optimum harvesting time.

  Genetic Diversity Detected by Cluster Analysis North of Anhui Major Wheat cultivars Cai Jian, Lan Wei, Luo Ruili, Li Feitian Wen Feng 2006, 22 (11):  143-143.  Abstract + ( 1652 )   Genetic variation is the basis for genetic improvement and plant breeding. This study aimed to estimate the genetic variation by cluster analysis among 20 cultivars of wheat, which has been popularized above 6.67hm2 per year in North Anhui last 50 years. Genetic distance based on the agronomic characters of plant height, panicle length, per panicle, panicle setting density, one thousand grains weight, the coat length, grain length and grain width was calculated and clustered using the unweighted pair-group method Arithmetic Averages(UPGMA). The results showed that 20 cultivars could be classified into eight groups. Group I consists of yang wheat12, wan wheat47; GroupⅡconsists of wan wheat33; Group Ⅲ consists of wan wheat48, fu wheat938, ji wheat21, wan wheat44, wan wheat55, li gao 6,yu wheat 49ck2, liu hu 98, yu nong 035, bai nongAK58; GroupⅣconsists of yu wheat49, wan wheat38; GroupⅤ consists of zheng wheat 366, heng guan35; GroupⅥ consists of wan wheat50; GroupⅦ consists of wan meng118; GroupⅧ consists of yu wheat70. The results were consistent with the grouping based on the available pedigree data. Moreever, cultivars with unkonwn pedigree were assigned to the established heterotic groups. The phenotypes can be applied in classifing cultivars. The study initially provides useful information for the selection of parents in the development of wheat cultivars and hybrids as well.

  Burley Tobacco Plant line Comparison Test Shang Zhiqiang 2006, 22 (11):  147-147.  Abstract + ( 1454 )   In order to breed quality Burley tobacco varieties, which were appropriate for planting at different region, the field comparison test of 5 plant lines and CK were conducted and their agricultural and economic character, disease resistance were analysized. The agricultural character results showed that the plant height were higher than that of CK besides 99P-2-1-1 and 99K-5-2-1 was the highest in the 5 plant lines. The average leaf number was 22.6,which was close to CK. The growing stage of all plant lines were 97d, which were middle maturing plant line. The resistance date indicated that tobacco black shank disease, tobacco brown spot were found on all plant lines. The disease incidence of 99I-7-5-1 tobacco black shank disease was the highest in the 5 plant lines, and that of 99K-5-2-2 was the lowest. The disease incidence of 99F-1-1-2 tobacco brown spot was the highest in the 5 plant line, and that of 99P-2-1-1 was the lower. The disease incidence of the tobacco mosaic virus all were 0.65% besides 99I-7-5-1, TN86(CK) being 0. The yield of 99K-5-2-2、99K-5-2-1 overtook that of CK, and the yield of 99K-5-2-2 was the highest, and that of 99P-2-1-1 was second. The output exceeded CK besides 99I-7-5-1, and that of 99K-5-2-2 the highest, and that of 99P-2-1-1 was second. The first-class tobacco proportion of 99K-5-2-2 was the highest. The genetic character of 99K-5-2-2, 99K-5-2-1, 99F-1-1-2 was stable, and the plant type was rational. The comprehensive resistances were the highest. The yield and production value and high and middle class leaf ratio were than that of CK or close to CK. The usefullness of cured leaf was high. Above all, the comprehensive performance 99K-5-2-2, 99K-5-2-1 of was the best. 99F-1-1-2 was Second.

  Preliminary Study of Allelopathy Mechanism of Veronica didyma Tenore Zhang Junlin, Yue Jianjian, Mu Xiaoqian, Yuan Longgang, Zhang Rong, Xu Min 2006, 22 (11):  151-151.  Abstract + ( 1762 )   Indoor Petri dish bioassay was adopted to study allelopathy actions of Veronica didyma Tenore and the results showed that the extract solution of Veronica didyma Tenore by water remarkably inhibited the growth of wheat seedlings and this inhibit became strong as the concentration of the extract solution increased. The extract solution inhibited the growth of wheat roots more strongly than the growth of wheat leaves. Some physiological and biochemical indexes of treated wheat indicated that the extract solution of Veronica didyma Tenore by water increased the vigor of treated wheat roots, and reduced the content of soluble protein of treated wheat leaves; it also reduced the content of chlorophyll relatively. The activity of catalase(CAT) in leaves was reduced apparently, while the activity of peroxidase(POD) and (SOD) was increased.

In protective enzymes systems, catalase activeness is inconsistent with the growth irradiance intensity change. The cytomembrane penetrability also increases along with the strength of growth irradiance. In the Arabidopsis Pumila organization, the enhancement of antioxidants was a protective pathway against high growth irradiance. Appears the plasticity greatly.

This experiment taked Kennong No.4 and Kenjian No21, a variety of soybean, as the experimental material The result showed that the leaf area index changed on parabola under different population densities and the corre lation coefficients of yield with the leaf area index were tending to positive correlation on V3andR1, and was significant on R3、R5andR6. The dry matter accumulation were various in different growing period and the correlation coefficients of yield with the dry matter accumulation were tending to positive correlation on R3, and was significant on R5.The experiment also indicated that the later population of KJ21 still maintained high leaf area index and dry matter accumulation, which benefit for high population densities.

  Study on Zn Efficiency of Different Genotypes in Rape —— An approach to the screening biomarkers for rape seedlings tolerant to low Zn Xu Weihong, Wang Zhengyin, Deng Xiaoyu 2006, 22 (11):  164-164.  Abstract + ( 1258 )   Investigations were carried out to evaluate the influence of low Zn tolerant on plant growth, antioxidant enzymes, root system vigor, chlorophyll and absorption and utilization of Zn in three varieties of rape (Brassica napus L.) by solution experiment. The results showed that significant differences of tolerant were recorded in response to low Zn2+ level (10-6mol/L Zn2+) among the rape seedlings due to different genotypes. Under low Zn treatments, shoot dry weight of seedlings was in the order of Brassica juncea> Brassica napus > Brassica campestris, and increased by 17.8% ( Brassica junce), 9.9% (Brassica campestri), 3.3% ( Brassica napus) compared to the control. The higher activities of CAT, POD, SOD, concentration of chlorophyll, and root tolerance were found in Brassica juncea, and its Zn uptake and Zn utilization efficiency were higher than Brassica napus and Brassica campestris. Zn utilization efficiency of the three varieties of rape was 12.3%（Brassica junce）, 8.0% ( Brassica campestri), 4.9% (Brassica napus), respectively. Antioxidant enzyme activity, content of chlorophyll, root system vigor of rape seedlings could be act as the biomarkers for screening rape genotypes tolerant to low Zn.

  Study of Overcompensation Responses on Float-seeding of Flue-cured Tobacco Li Wenqing, Chen Shunhui, Cheng Yazhi 2006, 22 (11):  176-176.  Abstract + ( 1427 )   There are diverse grade overcompensation responses on float-seeding of flue-cured tobacco. Compensation responses on clipping intensity of float-seeding were studied by cutting management and field experiment. Experimental results indicated tobacco seedlings became more vigorous while leaves exceeding 5cm were cut by 1/3, showing more obvious overcompensation responses, and these seedlings grew quickly after transplanted, there quality and production value were increased. Tobacco seedlings’ growth was restrained while clipping intensity was increased. Plants without clipped trended to early flowering obviously.

The result indicated that the activity change of POD was different in cassava swollen period in October, with maturity of various cassava varieties the POD activity were constantly increased in November; the CAT activity descended with cassava maturity ; the SOD activity and MAD content went up in the cassava swollen period, and went down with cassava maturity.   Effects of 1-MCP on Postharvest Physiology of Oblate Peach Li Xuewen, Han Jiang, Teng Kangning 2006, 22 (11):  185-185.  Abstract + ( 1526 )   The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of 1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP) on postharvest physiology and quality of oblate peach(Prunus perisica L.). Oblate peach fruit were treated with 0.25μl /L and 1.5μl /L1-MCP at ambient(20~22℃) for 12 hours on the day of harvest. The fruit were then stored at 5℃ to monitor ripening –related changes, such as respiration, firmness, total soluble solids(TSS), titratable acidity ,Vitamin C, PPO, POD, CAT. The results indecated that 1-MCP treatment delayed the decline of fruit titratable acidity content, increased vitamin C accumulation, not affect the change of TSS. The respiration rate and climacteric peak of fruit was inhibited by 1-MCP treatment. The fruits treated with 1-MCP had higher firmness, lower pectase activity. 1-MCP-treatment caused a suppression in POD activity at beginning of storage, an increase in PPO activity at latter. 0.25μl/l1-MCP treatment caused an increase in CAT activity during storage.

  Effect of Nitrogen Management on Matter Production and Yield of Late Rice Cultivated by Seeding-broadcast Zhang Xiangming, Guo Xisheng, Li Zefu, Song Weibing, Gui Yunbo 2006, 22 (11):  189-189.  Abstract + ( 1460 )   Rice matter production, distribution and yield of Xiushui79 were investigated by applying nitrogen at different growth stages with fertilizing 180 kg pure nitrogen per hectare during whole growth duration. The results as follows: The highest tillering number decreased with the decreasing proportion of applying nitrogen at earlier stage. Applying nitrogen at later stage could enhance the panicle formation rate and extend the developmental phase. Moreover, the yield with later nitrogen application was increased significantly compared with that of non- nitrogen. When nitrogen application with the ratio of basal fertilizer, tiller fertilizer, panicle fertilizer was 5:3:2, the yield amounted to maximum and it could increase by 3800.0kg/hm2 (that was 85.15%) than comparison. Nitrogen productivity decreased with the increasing basal fertilizer. Different proportion of applying nitrogen could effect considerably on the effective panicle number and the setting percentage, but had no significant effect on the number of filled grain and the thousand-grain weight. Therefore, maintaining sufficient spikelet number, appropriate later nitrogen application could extend the growth stage of flag leaves, prevent premature senescence and increase yield by enhancing setting percentage and thousand-grain weight.

The ratio of compound fertilizer specified and economic optimum fertilization were investigated through location research, the result showed that plant presented strong growth vigor , leaves were bottle-green, the average output per plant and commodity potato rate were increased with compound fertilizer specified under the same condition of fertilizing. Compared with traditional fertilizers, Plant yield increased 32.54%~46.28% under compound fertilizers specified for potato, and water use efficiency (WUE)increased 34%. Compared with traditional fertilizers, plant yield increased 14.9%~34.6% under compound fertilizers specified for potato in poor fertility site, and increased 33.5%-53.1% in middle fertility site.

  The Effects of Bio-organic Fertilizer on Plants Growth and Root Tubers Yield of Cassava Cen Zhongyong,, Luo Xinglu, Su Jiang, Xie Hexia, Chi Minqing, He Yuanlan, Yan Yong, Pan Yinghua 2006, 22 (11):  202-202.  Abstract + ( 1626 )   The effects of bio-organic fertilizer on plants growth and root tubers yield of cassava were studied in this experiment, of which the cassava variety FUXUAN01 and the bio-organic fertilizer produced by LIDA company were used as materials. The results showed that the effects of bio-organic fertilizer treatments on the plant height, the stem diameter and the leaf area index of cassava showed more or less promoting effect. At the late period, the plant height, the stem diameter and the leaf area index of the bio-organic fertilizer treatments were higher than that of the control. Besides, the bio-organic fertilizer treatments increased the root tubers yield. The root tubers yield of the 750kg/hm2 bio-organic fertilizer treatment was the highest which increased the root tubers yield by 70.88% higher than that of the control. The 450kg/hm2，600kg/hm2，900kg/hm2 bio-organic fertilizer treatments increased the root tubers yield by 5.06%, 49.36% and 20.88% respectively higher than that of the control.

  Study on Soil Microbial Characteristics and Enzyme Activities in Super-high-yield Rice Cultivating Practice Huang Bifang, Chen Hongfei, Lin Wenxiong 2006, 22 (11):  207-207.  Abstract + ( 1319 )   The soil microbial characteristics and enzyme activities of super-high-yield demonstration fields in Fujian Youxi County were analysed, aiming to explore the high-yield mechanism of rice super-high-yield cultivating method from the perspective of soil microbiology. The results showed that the field in super-high-yield cultivating practice had higher levels of community numbers of bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes and azotobacteria compared to the field under conventional cultivating method. The community numbers of bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes and azotobacteria in the soil sampled on 11, oct (11/10, after drying period) were 5.65, 4.96, 3.13 and 15.6 times higher than those of CK. And the community numbers of ammonifying bacteria, aerobic azotobacter, aerobic cellulose degradation bacteria and anaerobic cellulose degradation bacteria were 56.7, 10.90, 4.23 and 7.02 times higher than those of CK. The overall differences of soil enzyme activities were significant, of which the proteinase and urease were the most significant. The results indicated that the super-high-yield cultivating method could improve soil aerating conditions, increase the size of soil microbial population and its activity.

Phosphaticum is a strain of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria. It was used as the object in the research what the available phosphate would influence on the growth and organophosphate-solving ability of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria. The result show that: (1)The absence of the available phosphate in the surrounding will prolong the lag phase but not influence the total number of the bacteria.(2)Over-abundance of the available phosphate in the culture will deteriorate the bacteria’s organophosphate-solving ability.(3)In the organophosphate-resolving process, the positive regulation of the organophosphate maybe exist.

The results showed that lack sulfur suffocated rice growth obviously, put off procreation and resulted in badness of tassel and seed, the amount of root was little and root was slightness. The more sulfur applied, the higher output of rice increased. 1000 kernel weight and seed rate increased no more as soon as sulfur was applied beyond 0.180 mmol/L , which indicated that rice JinYou82 can grew in gear when sulfur content in culture solution ≥0.180 mmol/L. Rice was no seed when no sulfur was supplied. With sulfur was supplied, sulfur content in stem and leaf of rice and root increased, difference of which was significant. N, P and K contents in plant and root decreased after harvest. Sulfur content in grain increased with sulfur was supplied, which increased no more with 0.18mmol/L sulfur was supplied. N, P and K contents in grain have trend for increasing too, which was different to that in stem and leaf.

  The Analysis of Nutrient Situations of Vegetable Soil in Middle and Southern Part of Fujian Province Yang Feng, XieJianmao, HuangXiaofang, XuTongjian, ZhangMeiru, LuoXiaofang 2006, 22 (11):  218-218.  Abstract + ( 1505 )   The results of soil nutrient situations of 104 soil samples of vegetable soils in middle and southern part of Fujian province were as follow：74% soil samples’ pH was lower than 6.0 and the soils were acid，available P content in 70.19% soil samples were higher than 60mg/kg. Part soils’ Ca, Mg and B were low. Exchangeable Ca content in 24.04% of soil samples were lower than 500mg/kg, exchangeable Mg content in 10.58% of soil samples were lower than 50mg/kg, available B content in 49.04% of soil samples were lower than 0.5 mg/kg. The salinity of the soil was seriously, the salt content in 47.12% of soil samples were higher than 0.1%.

  Adaptive Response of Oat Root System to Phosphorus Deficiency Gao Liping, Wulan Bater, Fan Mingshou 2006, 22 (11):  221-221.  Abstract + ( 1362 )   Nutrient solution culture was employed to investigate the response of oat seedling roots to phosphorus deficiency. The results showed that after 30 days of treatment, the roots biomass of oat with P deficiency was significantly lower than that of oat supplied with sufficient P, however, the total root length of P-deficiency oat was not significant lower than high-P oat’s. It also showed that root /shoot ratio and specific root length for P-deficiency oat were higher than for high-P oat. Smaller root diameter for P-deficiency oat root axes was coincident with the higher specific root length, so it can be the reason for higher specific root length of P-deficiency oat. It is well known greater specific root length implies the root system exploring more soil for P with same assimilates consumption, therefore, the decrease of root diameter and increase of specific root length can be thought as the adaptive response of oat seedling to P deficiency.

  Effect of Different Mulch Ways for Temperature and Moisture of Tobacco-Cultivated Soil and Tobacco Leaf Quality Li Zhengfeng., Zhang Xiaohai, LiYong, Wu Bozhi,Xia Yuzhen.,Yang Qinghui 2006, 22 (11):  224-224.  Abstract + ( 1739 )   Experiment was carried out to compare effect of different mulch ways on soil character and tobacco leaf quality, the results showed that high C/N ratio straw and plastic film double mulches could harmonize soil temperature at all the stages of growth and development of flue-cured tobacco, decrease daily variations of soil temperature, significantly increase and retain the moisture capacity of soil. Single high C/N ratio straw mulch was similar to straw and plastic film double mulches in soil improvement and tobacco leaf quality. Because single straw mulch decreased soil temperature at the prophase of flue-cured tobacco growth and development, growth speed was relatively slow that resulted in the decrease of yield. However, single plastic film mulch increased tobacco leaf yield, the output was still higher than the single straw mulch and lower than the double mulches. Soil moisture of the 0~20cm arable layer of applying the high C/N straw and plastic film double mulches was respectively higher than no mulch, single straw mulch and plastic film mulch, which increased respectively 16.82%, 6.45%and 5.43%, and which harmonize relatively tobacco leaf chemical compositions. However, the yield and the output of tobacco leaf in the straw and film double mulch were also higher than the single straw mulch and the single plastic film mulch.

  Effect of fertilizer amount and application methods on tobacco eedling quality in floating tray Yang Shaocong Zhang Yanjun, Duan Yonghua, Lu Yanling, Rao Min, Shen Xianghong 2006, 22 (11):  228-228.  Abstract + ( 1714 )   The effect of Virginia tobacco specialized fertilizer (N.14.76%、P2O5.7.33%、K2O.18.66%) amount and application methods on seedling quality were evaluated in floating tray by the aid of seedling emergence and survival rates, main agronomic traits, dry matter and nutrient element contents. The results showed that N, P, K and Ca contents were the highest in root, higher in stem, low in leaf when 0.9kg fertilizer per standard pool (34 trays: 66 x 34 x 5cm in dimension) was applied for two times: 60% in seedling emergence period and 40% in big~cross period, indicating the best quality of tobacco seedling according to stem height and diameter, dry root and stem weights and the biggest ratio of root to overground parts.

  Use the Method of Root Chamber System with Two Compartments to Study Spatial Variability of Soil nitrogen Transformation and N2O Production Wang Shanhu, Jin Yihong, Sun Hongjun 2006, 22 (11):  233-233.  Abstract + ( 1354 )   In this paper, a specially made root chamber system with two compartments and nine gas collection pipes was used to collect the N2O in soil air of nine different spatial position in the root chamber. The following treatments were also used: (1) Two selective nitrification inhibitors, C2H2 and DCD in low concentration were used to study the nitrification process under different NH4+-N levels and its contribution to N2O release. (2) High concentration C2H2, which inhibitates the reduction from N2O to N2 in the denitrification process, was used to determine the denitrification process under different NO3--N levels and its contribution to N2O release. The root chamber system combined with the use of inhibitors was an effective method to study nitrogen transform processes in soil, N2O release process ang the effect of plants on it.

  Effect of the Co-application of Organic Fertilizer and Nitrogen Fertilizer on the Yield and Quanlity of Cucumber in Greenhouse Wang Lihe,, Sun Xinzheng, Zhao Xiru,Tan Jinfang ,Wang Xizhi, Wang Liqiu 2006, 22 (11):  237-237.  Abstract + ( 1743 )   Spilt-plot design was employed to study the effect of the co-application of organic fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer on the yield and economic benefit of greenhouse cucumber,and also the nutrient quality and nitrate content of it. The result showed that the yield of cucumber was increased by increasing the rate of organic fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer application,and the ones were M2N3、M3N1、M3N2 which had a higher economic benefit and investment income rate.The nitrite content of cucumber was remarkly increased by increasing the amount of nitrogen application,but the content of Vc and deoxidized sugar was reduced when high amount of nitrogen fertilizer(N3) was applied. With the co-application of organic fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer,the nitrite content was decreased and the synthesize of Vc and deoxidized sugar was promoted in greenhouse cucumbers.The combination of the organic fertilizer application 45t/hm2(M2)or 90t/hm2(M3) and the nitrogen fertilizer application 450kg/hm2(N1) or 750kg/hm2(N2) was the better one.Considering the quality of cucumber and the economic and ecological benefits,the best combination was the deal which had a moderate amount 90t/hm2 in organic fertilizer application and a low amount 450kg/hm2 in nitrogen fertilizer application.

  The Effects of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium Compound Fertilization Treatments on the Nitrate Content and Yield of Brassica chinensis Lian Hua, Ma Guangshu, Jin Yazhong 2006, 22 (11):  243-243.  Abstract + ( 1433 )   Using the general quadratic rotatory regression and substrate culture, the effects of Nitrogen, Phosphorus，Potassium compound fertilization treatments on the yield and nitrate content of Brassica chinensis were studied. The results showed that: the effect of Nitrogen, Phosphorus，Potassium compound fertilization on the yield of Brassica chinensis followed the order Nitrogen > Phosphorus > Potassium, while the influence order on the nitrate content was Nitrogen > Potassium > Phosphorus. The content of the nitrate increases with the increasing of nitrogen compound fertilization, the effects of phosphorus compound fertilization on nitrate accumulation has a double action, potassium compound fertilization can reduce the nitrate content of Brassica chinensis.

It includes three-kind independent methods: First, field identification that is with the heat injury index according to the fresh weight unit area of seedling and death rate of plant in summer. Third, physiology identification that is including the electric conductivity percentage and high temperature cause death time. In the period of radish to grow leaf the fresh weight unit area was menstruate; and then in the period of radish to grow root the leaf heat injury index and death rate of plant in summer were menstruate, also the electric conductivity percentage or high temperature cause death time; Finally radish yield and effective root rate were menstruated in the harvests and accomplish to synthesize evaluation heat tolerance of radish. Three kinds of methods can be used alone, and also can be used together. It can receive the same result.

The results showed:(1)With the increase of NaCl concertration ,the germination regularity and the rate of germination and seedling emergance were significantly decreased .The germination losing rate were significantly increased. (2) With the increase of NaCl concertration ,the seedling growth was significantly inhibited.The difference among different materials was great,Huangzhenzhu was the most sensitive , the next was Taiwanshengnv,the last was Yingtaohong. (3) With the increase of NaCl concertration ,the germination index(GI) and vigor index (VI) were significantly reduced, the change of GI and VI was Huangzhenzhu> Taiwanshengnv> Yingtaohong.

The optimum amount of zinc sulfate application was 75~120 kg/hm2 when the application rates of N, P and K were urea 361.52kg/hm2, ordinary superphosphate 102.33kg/hm2, potassium sulphate 198.27 kg/hm2.

The results showed that the content of nitrate increased with the increasing of nitrogen levels, and linear correlation, soluble sugar and the protein decreased. the vitamin C and the organic acid increased firstly then softly decreased, but the vitamin C do not have the obvious change. The optional nitrogen level for amaranth growth was 14mmol/L.

  The Study on some Influencing Factors of Cut Flower Yield and Quality of Strelitzia reginae Wu Jianshe, Hua Minlin, Chen Shilin, Lin Bing, Ye Xiuxian, Chen Yuanquan 2006, 22 (11):  279-279.  Abstract + ( 1288 )   Shading in summer, heat preservation in winter, spraying and pruning treatment were conducted to study their effects on the cut flower yield and quality of Strelitzia reginae. The results showed that shading in summer had no significant effect on the cut flower yield and its first class flower rate, but the second and third class flower rate was increased by 28.6% compared with the opening field; Heat preservation in winter could significantly increase the yield from December of this year to March of the coming year, the yield raised by 182.4% and 19.1% higher in the second and third class rate than that of opening field . When pruning treatment was employed to the 10-age plants, 10-19 individuals were remained in a cluster included in more than 25 individuals, then the yield of the whole year was decreased by 15.1% while the cut flower quality was significantly increased and the first class flower rate was increased by 105.2% compared with the no treatment; With the combination of shading in summer, heat preservation in winter, spraying and pruning treatment, both the whole yield of the cut flower was increased by 30.0% higher than that of opening field after pruning in a year , and the quality was raised, among which the first class flower rate was raised by 37.3%.

  A Study on Bioactivity of Pyrethroid Insecticides to Chilo Suppressalis Tao Lingmei, Liu Xue, Gu Baogen, Shen Jinliang, Wang Xiaojun, Song Yuquan 2006, 22 (11):  291-291.  Abstract + ( 1568 )   This paper investigated the bioactivity of 10 pyrethroid insecticides to striped rice borer Chilo suppressalis (walker) in the lab. The results showed that the LD50 (μg/larva) of beta-cyfluthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, esfenvalerate, deltamethrin, fenpropathrin, alpha-cypermethrin, beta-cypermethrin, cycloprothrin, etofenprox, and silafluofen to C. suppressalis are 0.0017, 0.0039, 0.0043, 0.0070, 0.0071, 0.0116, 0.0119, 0.714, 0.1779, 0.3858, respectively. Bioactivity of 5 formulations of lambda-cyhalothrin to C. suppressalis (walker) are different. The LC50 (mg/L) of EW, EC, ME, SC and WP formulations of lambda-cyhalothrin to C. suppressalis (walker) are 0.0945, 0.1089, 0.1174, 0.1232, 0.1591, respectively.

  Studies on the Temporal-Spatial Niche of Arthropods Dominant Population and Control Effect of Natural Enemies to Aphis gossypii in Cotton Fields in the North of Anhui Province Li Peng, Li Guiting, Zhang Xincai,Miao Yong, Jiang Junqi, Wang Xianyang 2006, 22 (11):  303-303.  Abstract + ( 1513 )   The composition of dominant population of arthropods and temporal-spatial niche was analyzed in the paper. The results showed the dominant populations were Aphis gossypii, Bemisia tabaci, Tetranychus cinnabarinus, Adelphocoris spp. Singa pygmaea, Propylaea japonica, Pardosa T-insignita, Erigonidium graminicolum, Theridion octomaculatum, Nabis sinoferus, Orius similis and Paederus fuscipes. The temporal and spatial niche breadth value of Propylaea japonica was maximum, and the temporal niche overlap value of Theridion octomaculatum between dominant predatory enemies and Aphis gossypii was maximum and the spatial niche overlap of Pardosa T-insignita was maximum. The evaluated model of dominant predatory enemies to Aphis gossypii was constructed considering the number, temporal and spatial niche, predatory capacity of dominant predatory enemies at the same time, and based on model the control effect of Propylaea japonica was maximum, arriving at 19.82%.

Throw random sample at regular intervals, the rustle showed: the arthropod community in Abrus cantoniensis Hance fields contains 10 orders , 25 families , 36 specties .Nezara viridula Linnaeus, Cletus punctiger Dallas, Catantops spp., Oxya Chinensis Thumb and Aphis gossypii Glover are the major insect pests, while Tachys Steph,Chrysopa formosa Brauer,Ieis axyridis(Pallas), Teienomus terbraus Ratzeburg, Vipionidae were the dominant natural enemies; May to early July, early July to early September and the late September to November were respectively the building, the developing and the disintegrating periord of the community;The fastigium of the major insect pests was late June to early July, while the fastigium of the dominant natural enemies was from July to August. During the middle and late growing stage of Abrus cantoniensis Hance,natural enemies steadily occurred,can control insect pests on the whole.

  Study on the Extracts of Insecticidal Substance from the Root of Leptopus chinensis Against the Larvae of Plutella xylostella CuiRuiFeng, SunJiuGuang, HanJuCai, LiuHuiPing 2006, 22 (11):  311-311.  Abstract + ( 1338 )   The root of Leptopus Chinensis was extracted with petroleum ether, chloroform and methyl alcohol by Sohxlet method. Insecticidal activities of crude extracts and fractions against Plutella xylostella larvae were tested. The results showed that the different extracts from the root of Leptopus chinensis had strong Antifeeding effect and a certain Growth and development inhibited effect, but the Contact toxicity and the Stomach toxicity were very weak, The methyl alcohol extract had a certain oviposition deterrence activity against Plutella xylostella adults, but the other two extracts didn't have. Of the three extracts, the chloroform extract was indicated that possessed the strongest bioactivities.

The changes of Pro、MDA and dissolubility sugar content and the relations to the resistance to phytophthora Blight of Pepper are studied after inoculating phytophthora capsici in different resistance peppers. The result shows that the growth velocity and accumulation of Pro、MDA and dissolubility sugar content are the critical material in biological activity which determined the peppers resistance to phytophthora blight. The varieties that the content of Pro and dissolubility sugar are higher and the content of MDA are lower , the resistance of them to phytophthora blight are stronger. On the contrary , The variety that the content of Pro and dissolubility sugar are lower and the content of MDA are higher , the resistance of them to phytophthora blight are weaker.

  Screening and Evaluation of Antagonistic Bacteria Producing Siderophore Against Pathogen of Cucumber Damping-off in Zhejiang District Liang Jiangen, Wu Ji’an, Zhu Lihong, Li Xiaohui, Sang Jinlong, Yao Hangli, Shi Yuefeng 2006, 22 (11):  318-318.  Abstract + ( 1389 )   Using plate dilution method, seven hundred and eighty-nine strains were isolated and purified from the diffrent vegetable soil samples collected from the suburban districts. By pairing culture, 12 strains had apparent antagonistic effect to Pythium ultimum, ca. 2.67% of all tested strains showed antagonism, whose radius of suppression cycles was between 3.1~16.4 mm. By selected medium method, nine strains producing siderophore were obtained. Qualitative and quantitative analysis showed that different strains had different ability producing siderophore, but the result of two methods was consistant. pH value had a direct effect on absorbance of siderophore, absorbance declined to shortwave under excessive acidic and alkaline pH conditions, while to longwave under neutral pH conditions. It had three absorbance apexes and got to maximun, which were 224.0 nm, 264.0 nm and 400.0 nm, respectively under pH8.3. Effect of bacteria producing siderophore on cucumber growth showed three actions,which were promotion, inhibition and no action, respectively.

  The Series Research of Loose Tobacco Curing Barn 1. Curing Capability Wang Xuelong,, Tang Qiying, Gong Changrong, Song Zhaopeng 2006, 22 (11):  323-323.  Abstract + ( 1356 )   The curing capability of loose tobacco curing barn were studied in 2004—2005 by testing the plane temperature, verticality temperature, wind speed and wind pressure of the loading room. The results showed that the plane temperature range of loading room could be controlled within 1℃ when the loading board were specification, the grade of slope of loading room were reasonable, the blower fan and wind pressure could match requirement and the blast volume in the loading room ≥1000m3/h. While the verticality temperature range in the loading room behaved that it were minimum at the stage of early yellowing, and the temperature range increased slowly from the mid stage of yellowing to the end of color fixing, and reduced again at the killing stage. But the verticality temperature range of loose tobacco curing barn were lower than the common bulk curing barn.

  Changes of Aromatic Constituents During the Processing of Lingtou Dancong Oolong Tea Miao Aiqing ,Wu Xiyue ,Pang Shi ,Zhao Chaoyi ,Jia Bingjuan 2006, 22 (11):  330-330.  Abstract + ( 1344 )   Changes of aromatic constituents during the processing of Lingtou Dancong oolong tea were studied. The contents of essential oil increased from 12.40 in fresh leaves to 64.87 in dry tea during the processing procedure. The kinds of aromatic constituents were the most after shaking ended and the least in dry tea. The major aromatic constituents in fresh leaves were linalool and its oxides, butylated cresol, 3,7-dimethyl-1,5,7-Octatrien-3-ol, geraniol etc. In withering leaves, the content of nerolidol increased significantly, and (Z)-jasmone, α-farnesene, indole, geraniol increased too, but linalool and its oxides, α-terpineol decreased. Changes of aromatic constituents during making green were irregular. In fixed leaves, the contents of linalool and its oxides, 3,7-dimethyl-1,5,7-octatrien-3-ol incresed significantly, geraniol, (Z)-jasmone, α-farnesene, nerolidol etc also increased, but indole, butylated cresol etc decreased. In dry tea, the major aromatic constituents were linalool and its oxides, nerolido, geraniol, (Z)-jasmone, 3,7-dimethyl-1,5,7-octatrien-3-ol, hexanal, indole, (E)-2-hexenal, (Z)- 3-Hexenyl hexanoate.

  Effects of Ultra-high Pressure on the Quality of Fresh-cut Chinese yam Zong Wei, Liou Fongzhu, Li Juenhui 2006, 22 (11):  334-334.  Abstract + ( 1248 )   The Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) was used to maintaining the quality of fresh-cut Chinese yam. Slices of fresh-cut Chinese yam were treated with 0Mpa, 200Mpa, 400MPa and 600MPa pressure for 10min and then storaged at 4℃for 9 days. The effects of UHP on microorganisms, polyphenoloxidases (PPO) activity, contents of total soluble solids, titratable acidity and ascorbic acid of fresh-cut Chinese yam were determined during different storage time. The results shows that the UHP treatment of 600MPa could effectively prevent browning associate with inhibition PPO activity, inhibition microorganisms growth, maintaining fresh-cut Chinese yam in better physical-chemical index. The UHP processing was a better method to maintain the quality of fresh-cut Chinese yam.

  The Separation, Purification and Filtration of Staphylococcus in Traditional Meat Products Yu Changqing, Ren Boxiao, Zhang Lina, Zhao Yue 2006, 22 (11):  343-343.  Abstract + ( 1287 )   Some traditional zymolytic meat products were used as samples to separate staphylococcus which present Gram positive and catalase masculine from preserved ham and sausage. The purification of bacteria was carried out with 'drawing lines' method and the bacteria which were more reductive from nitrate were screened with 'half-quantitive flat board' method. A series experiments were maked out to choose the bacteria which didn't produce mucilage, gas, H2S, ammonia, didn't bear the decarboxylase, could reduce nitrate at 15℃ and could grow when the pH was 4.5. Biochemical appraisal proved that the bacteria possess the qualifications mentioned above were the excellent staphylococcus in zymolytic meat products.

Methods: to select suitable way of applying enzyme by the enzymolysis curve, to optimize the enzymolysis condition with uniform design and to analysis data by Mathematica statistic software. Result: The efficiency of hydrolysis by Alcalase and Protamex together was better than that by single Alcalase or Protamex. The changes of solubility, emulsification and foaming activity of the hydrolysates were not same at the same hydrolytic condition. Conclusion: Using two proteases together could improve the solubility of rice protein more than using single protease. In the system of hydrolysis, Alcalase and Protamex exist cooperation with each other.

The study focused on the clarification technique conditions of pear juice clarified by chitosan. Through the insertion of single-factor experiment studied chitosan’content, clarify time, the temperature of the juice to impact the pear juice clarify and selected appropriate parameters: chitosan were 0.20g/L, clarify time was 1h, the temperature of the juice was 35℃; By orthogonal experiments to clarify pear juice processes optimize conditions. The results showed that the optimum technological conditions of pear juice clarification by using35℃, chitosan were 0.28g/L and 1h, the transmittance was above 97%, with natural colour and good flavor.

  Elementary Analysis on Characteristics of Soil Salinization of Geomorphology Units with Different Scales in the Neoteric and Modern Yellow River Delta Liu Qingsheng, Liu Gaohuan, Xue Kai, Song Hongwei 2006, 22 (11):  353-353.  Abstract + ( 2011 )   About 50% of the soils in the Neoteric and Modern Yellow River Delta are affected by salinity. The Geomorphology is a key factor for soil salinization. The hypsography affects the movement of surface and underground runoff, along with it water and salt content in soils are redistributed and accumulated. The objective of this research is to analyze the diversities of characteristics of soil salinization and its reasons in the different scale geomorphology units. On the base of field survey and GPS location and soil sample analysis from May 23 to May 29 in 2002, statistical analyses are used to study the differences of total salt content, pH, organic matter, Cl-/SO42-, HCO3-/(Cl-+SO42-), and (K++Na+)/(Ca2++Mg2+) of soils in the different geomorphology units. Both Kruskal-Wallis Test and Median Test are used to determine if above six parameters differ from each other in geomorphology units with different scales. The research results show that the soils in the neoteric and modern Yellow River Delta are affected strongly by salinity, which belong to coastal chloride type saline soil, and lack organic matter, and are basic. With the depth of soil increasing (0cm~10cm, 10cm~30cm and 30cm~60cm), the degree of salinization becomes less severe; Characteristics of soil salinization in the different geomorphology units with the same scale differ from each other, generally, with the scale lessening (from the first to the fourth level of geomorphology unit) these kinds of differences become quite apparent. Only pH is different between the first level of geomorphology units, and from the second to the fourth level of geomorphology units total salt content of soils in the different geomorphology units are different, and with the depth of soil increasing HCO3-/(Cl-+SO42-) and (K++Na+)/(Ca2++Mg2+) in the different geomorphology unit also become different.

Earthworms were used as model biology in soil toxicological experiment to measure the change and state of ecosystem, indicating the healthy condition of soil environment. Accumulative approach of passive diffusion and resorption of soil pollutants in earworms were summarized. The rule of heavy metals and organic pollutants accumulated in earthworm and physiological response of earthworms were also analyzed. Therefore, the sensitive physiological parameter in earthworm from community to molecular may be select as a potential biomarker to diagnose contaminated soil by using toxicological methods.

  Primary Study of Heavy Metal Contamination of Soil in the Area of Hongtou Mountians Liu Guiqin, Liang Chenghua, Du Liyu, Chen Xinzhi, Wang Feng 2006, 22 (11):  364-364.  Abstract + ( 1398 )   Though first-hand investigation and laboratory analysis , the text studied the heavy metals content status of soil in Hongtou Mountains copper ore areas, and adopted single-factor pollution index method and Nemerow integrated factor pollution index method to evaluate the heavy metals contaminated degree of soil in Hongtou Mountains copper ore areas. The findings indicated that average content of copper, zinc, lead, cadmium in the studied areas exceeds the background value of the local soil, and the soil is seriously contaminated by copper and cadmium, at the same time the contaminated degree of zinc is light pollution, but the content of lead is in safe grade. The content of the heavy metals of soil in different areas exists large differences. The descending order of the composite contaminated degree of heavy metals of soil in every areas is gangue areas> mill run areas>mining areas>surrounding farmland areas.

The results demonstrated that soil cadmium contamination in peanut field of Qingdao was not a problem, and the city was suitable for pollution-free peanut production; however, peanut kernels produced in Qingdao were seriously cadmium contaminated, and the degree of Cd contamination showed relations to soil types. Identification of Cd source and the relationship between the source and soil types is, therefore, considered to be the prerequisite for minimizing of Cd contamination of Qingdao peanut.

  Research of Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution Issue and Prevention and Cure Countermeasures in Fujian Province Huang Dongfeng,, Wang Guo, Chen Chao 2006, 22 (11):  371-371.  Abstract + ( 1621 )   Correlative statistic data about the issue of agricultural non-point source pollution in Fujian province during 1995-2004 were analyzed in the study. The changing status of the water quality of the 12 main water systems, chief lakes and reservoirs and seawater near coast in Fujian province were expatiated. Results showed that: the environmental quality of water area in Fujian province had been continuously deteriorated since 2002; the proportion of Ⅰ~Ⅲ types water in the 12 main water systems and chief lakes & reservoirs was declined from 90.6% and 77.8% in 2002 to 83.6% and 36.4% in 2004, respectively; the proportion ofⅠandⅡtypes water in the seawater near coast was declined from 47.3% in 2002 to 32.3% in 2004. Moreover, agricultural non-point source pollution factors which causing the deterioration of water environmental quality were analyzed, and those primary factors included chemical fertilizer, pesticide, farming plastic film, livestock and birds raising, water and soil erosion, aquiculture. Finally, prevention and cure countermeasures to control agricultural non-point source pollution in Fujian province were put forward, those mainly included: perfecting agriculture legislation and intensifying management measures, strengthening research to technique of least devotion of agriculture chemical substance, developing all-purpose and synthetical use of dejection of livestock and birds, developing ecological agriculture and organic agriculture, advocating cleansing production and containing agricultural non-point source pollution, reasonably putting in fish feed and medication and reducing their losses rate.

  Role of Chelator on Phytoremediation of Combined Contamination in Dredged Sewage River Sediment Ma Weifang,, Zhao Xinhua, Xing Yongjie, Zhang Li 2006, 22 (11):  378-378.  Abstract + ( 1667 )   Pot experiments were conducted to study the role of EDTA (1 mmol/kg and 3 mmol/kg), citric acid (5 mmol/kg and15 mmol/kg) and DTPA(1 mmol/kg and 3 mmol/kg) in phytoremediation of heavy metal-organic contaminated dredged sewage river sediment by Lolium multiflorum Lam. The results showed that the shoot accumulation amount of Lolium multiflorum Lam to heavy metal increased with adding 5 mmol/kg citric acid, but the result was not statistically different from the control. Increasing the adding amount of citric acid posed a severe phytotoxicity to Lolium multiflorum Lam by stunted growth and diminished uptake rates. With adding 3 mmol/kg EDTA and DTPA, the accumulation of Pb,Zn,Cu,Ni,Cd in shoots increased, while the concentration of chlorophyll decreased. pH of the sediment was decreased with adding 5 mmol/kg citric acid, while pH had little change with adding the other two chelators. With adding the three chelators, the bulk percentage of big particle sediment and the average particle size of sediment increased, while specific surface area and crystal lattice intensity decreased, which were contributed to the desorption of heavy metals from sediment particle; the amount of microorganism in sediment and the TOC content were increased; the catalase activity hasn’t much change. Compared with the control, the urease activity increased with adding 5 mmol/kg citric acid, but the result hadn’t attained remarkable level; the activity decreased with adding the other two chelators.

  Study on Evaluation and Development of Tourist resources of the Three Gorges Golden Tourism Belt in Chongqing Region Wang Xiaode, Xie Deti,, Qiu Daochi 2006, 22 (11):  385-385.  Abstract + ( 1307 )   This paper comprehensively evaluates and analyzes the tourist resources of the Three Gorges Golden Tourism Belt in Chongqing Province. The first one is the evaluation of the resources, which is followed by the structural and spatial analysis of the resources. Based on that, the concept planning is made for the tourist resources of the Three Gorges Golden Belt. The method of analytic hierarchical process is used to evaluate the tourist resources and then by tables and graphs, the structural and spatial analysis is made. It is found that, the natural resources have fundamental roles in the Three Gorges Golden Tourism Belt, and the human and cultural resources are important parts. In the spatial distribution analysis, the resources show the characteristics of “sheet in Chongqing city” and “punctuate along the Yangtse River”. Finally, the concept planning is made based on the evaluation and analysis.

  Analysis on Agronomic Characters of Sticky Rice Landraces (Oryza sativa L.) from Taihu Lake Valley Jin Weidong, Dong Zun, Yang Huiming, Xu Ruhua 2006, 22 (11):  401-401.  Abstract + ( 1710 )   For improving genetic basis and breeding target characters using favorable gene of rice landraces germplasm, Variations of 15 agronomic characters of 135 sticky rice landraces (Oryza sativa L.) from Taihu lake valley were analyzed. Results showed these varieties were characterized by late matured, high plant height and panical neck length, low spikeletes density and yield per plant. The range of CV was from 3.42% to 35.01% for 15 characters， 6 characters, yield per plant, panicals per plant, spikeletes per panical, filled grains per panical, panical neck length and spikeletes density, had higher value than other traits. Principal component analysis showed the first five PCs explained 70.4% variation in total germplasms, and seven traits, spikeletes per panical, filled grains per panical, spikeletes density, panicals per plant, plant height, 1000-grains weight and yield per plant, were important traits in explaining variation of these germplasm because of theirs high vector loadings. Five PCs were drawn for cluster analysis that indicated all the landraces can be divided into 14 types. In which, the landraces belong to typeⅠ,Ⅸ,ⅩⅣ and Ⅻ,were very useful for sticky rice breeding and improving. Partial correlation analysis of the main grain-yield factors were conducted and results showed contribution rates of grain-yield were main from the character of panicals per plant and spikeletes per panical, therefore, these characters were important goal characters to urgely improved in sticky rice landraces from Taihu lake valley. In this article, the phenomenon of same name but not closed genetic relationship was also found.

  Toxicity of Fenoxaprop-ethy and Cyhalofop-butyl l on Lemma Paucicostata Huang Fan, Guo Zheng yuan, Xu Zhen 2006, 22 (11):  406-406.  Abstract + ( 1378 )   In order to assess the bioenvironmental effect of a mixed herbicide which composed by Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl correctly, the single toxic and joint toxic effects of them on Lemma Paucicostata were studied. The results showed that the IC50 of Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl to Lemma Paucicostata for 96 h were 3.33 and 5.04 mg/L respectively, the IC50 of joint toxicity of them for 96 h to Lemma Paucicostata was 3.14 mg/L. The additive index (AI) was 1.566, the combined toxicities were the synergism action. The content of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b of Lemma Paucicostata both affected by the single and joint toxicity of Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl with the concentration increased.

  Studying the Techniques for Reuse of Spent Mushroom Substrates Chen Junchen, Shen Hengsheng, Tang Baosha, Li Yibin, Pen Dengqin 2006, 22 (11):  410-410.  Abstract + ( 1683 )   To face the problem of vast spent mushroom substrate (SMS) produced from mushroom industries, we analyzed the nutritive compounds of various SMS and studied the bio-efficiency of applying SMS as substitutes for sawdust, cottonseed hull and wheat bran on mushroom cultivation, as well as the effects on organic fertilizer for the yield and quality of Navel orange production. Results showed the possibility of re-utilizing SMS as substrates for Pleurotus cornucopiae, Tricholoma lobayense and Pleurotus abalonus with the bio-efficient for about 64.95%、84.65% and 70.49%, respectively, which were similar as it of CK group obtained. Comparing to CK group, use SMS as organic fertilizer increased the average output of Navel orange for 5.54kg per tree significantly, improved fruit quality and modified garden soil structure. Results indicated that re-utilization of SMS would apply an important role in recycling of natural resources in agricultural production.

The adaptation characteristic was researched for extended greatly. The experimentation by pot and field was used to measure wither index of sandy soil and clay of Ceratoides lanata, and resisting ability to saline threaten by pot. The wither indexes of sandy soil and clay are 1.25% and 2.96% by field experimentation. The Ceratoides lanata will be harmed, when total solution salt of sulphate-chloride is 8.03g/kg. It is far greater that the total solution salt thereat the plant than that single salt. The color of foliage will being fade by threatened salt and dry of soil, while it will be rust-red at threatened salt.

The studies based on the relationship between wet pollen and lake nutrient state in sediments from a core of central Longgan Lake located in the boundary between Hubei and Anhui province show that the degeneration of wetland vegetation caused the land nutrient discharges by human activities around the lake catchment and the lake nutrient enriched relatively. Human activities have destroyed the wetland in the area of Longgan Lake, weaken the ecology function of wetland, and accelerated the deterioration of lake ecology.

  The measurement of the Contents of the Trace Elements of the Organs by the Method of Flame AtomicAbsorption Spectrometry(FAAS) in Canarium album Raeusch Cai Yingqing,,, Lai Zhongxiong,, Zhu Huiqiong, Chen Yiting,, Liu Guoqiong, Li Guoqing, Lin Yuling, 2006, 22 (11):  423-423.  Abstract + ( 1415 )   The contents of Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ni and Cr of the organs were measured by the method of Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (FAAS) in 6 cultivars of Canarium album Raeusch. The results showed that,except for Ni in the seed, six trace elements existed in all the organs, including the young leaf, old leaf, stem, flesh, seed, stone and root, but the contents of these trace elements differed to some extent among different organs, trees or cultivars. The contents of Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn and Ni of all the organs in Canarium album Raeusch. belonged to the normal contents of the trace elements in plants, but the content of the Cr was far higher than that of the general plants, which suggested that Canarium album Raeusch. be of Cr hypertolerant plant. Because organic Cr in organisms was the effective element with the effects of anti-cancer anticancer and fat reducing, the ultrahigh content of Cr was probably related to the effects of anti-cancer anticancer and fat reducing of Canarium album Raeusch..

  Joint Action of Abamectin and Rubble Seed Oil against Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) Xiong Zhonghua, Zeng Xinnan, Li Zhuowei, Zhang Shuai, Li Zhuoying, Ma Liming, Wu Shangxin 2006, 22 (11):  428-428.  Abstract + ( 1848 )   Toxicity of abamectin and rubble seed oil against Tetranychus cinnabarinus and joint action of their mixture were evaluated in the lab. It was showed that, for the toxicity of abamectin and rubble seed oil to adult famales of Tetranychus cinnabarinus, the LC50 value were 0.01μg/ml and 1311.81μg/ml respectively. Abametin-rubble seed oil combination had prominent addictive effects on Tetranychus cinnabarinus, and the proportion (1:99) of abamectin and rubble seed oil was the most significant with the co-toxicity coefficient of 293.90. Abamectin and the best combination had low activities to eggs, but they had outstanding toxicity to nymphs hatched from the treated eggs, and the combination was much better than abamectin with the same dosage. It could be drawn that the bio-pesticide combination of abamectin and rubble seed oil with the characters of high effects and safety could be widely applied in the controlling of Tetranychus cinnabarinus.

  Effect of Silicon Fertilizer on Peanut Yield and Quality in South China Chang Chunrong, Gong Mizhen, Liao JIxing 2006, 22 (11):  432-432.  Abstract + ( 1562 )   The content of total and available silicon in soil because of the forming process in south china are lower than that need to plant, study on silicon yield effect of peanut has great significance. The results of field trait are showed bellow: there is distinct effect of increasing yield after silicon is employed to soil ,and the greatest increasing effect is in legumen forming stage, 13.5%~25.6%, 20.1% by average. The recommend quantity of silicon in tropic brick red soil is 30kg/hm2 by analysis the cost and employing effect. To hundred-pod weight and hundred-seed weight, there are different results in different stage employing, but the best effect is the level of 30kg/hm2. There is increasing effect of hundred-pod weight employed only in legumen forming stage and with the level of 30kg/hm2, and the level of 30kg/hm2 also have increasing effect for hundred-seed weight in acicula forming and legumen forming stage. Foundation fertilizer with 30kg/hm2 level increasing the quantity of per plant; employing silicon has no significant effect on fat concentration, so silicon is applicable to edible species. Employing silicon make significant descend of plant nitrogen, significant increasing of plant phosphorus only with level of 90kg/hm2 applying before planting, decreasing of that only with level of 150kg/hm2 employing in legumen forming period, and no distinct effect with others levels. Comprehensive effect of plant potassium, and that should do better in future.

  The Measure of areas of China Agricultural University Nased on GIS Zhang Yan, Zhang Xiaodong, Shen Gang, Wang Hao 2006, 22 (11):  456-456.  Abstract + ( 1741 )   At first this article introduces the current status of digitizing campus, and then brings forward the key steps of measurement for the areas of campus. Those steps are scan-digitizing, merging the separate-image, image registration and map digitizing. Secondly, under the use of SuperMap, in term of the areas of China Agricultural University and the number of students in the university, we compare the result with prescript of ministry of education. At last we analyze the advantage and disadvantage of the environment of campus and give some suggestions for it.

  Study of Field Water Effect under Wheat Stubble Remaining Zhang Liqiang,, Wang Youke,, Yun Xuefeng, Zhan Jingwu, Wang Yong 2006, 22 (11):  461-461.  Abstract + ( 1342 )   Soil moisture is very important for maize growth. With plot and field trial, this paper studied soil temperature, air temperature & humidity and status of summer corn growth under 3 treatments: stubble removing, stubble remaining, and stubble burning, and analyzed the filed water effect under wheat stubble remaining. The results showed that, (1) stubble remaining reduced soil temperature obviously, the soil surface temperature was lowest through all day, and during 10 o’clock to 14 o’clock the temperature difference was bigger, and the average soil temperature of 5 to 25cm was lower by 1.45℃ and 2.3℃ compared with stubble removing and stubble burning, (2)The soil moisture of stubble remaining between 0 to 70cm was higher than the other two treatments from start to finish, (3)The effect of air humidity near the surface by stubble remaining was more obvious in evening, because the stubble could coagulate vapor, by day under the stubble remaining height the air temperature was lower and air humidity was higher, but over the stubble remaining height the result was reverse compared with stubble removing and stubble burning, (4)Stubble remaining affected the summer corn growth mainly at the middle and later period. When the trial was finished, the plan height and stem diameter all got bigger than stubble removing and stubble burning. The stubble remaining treatment could lower cultivation cost, save water and increase production, so it should popularize extensively in practice.

  Analysis on the Feature of Soil Water Dynamics of Peanut Slope Upland in Subtropical China Jing Yuanshu, , Zhang Bin 2006, 22 (11):  467-467.  Abstract + ( 1078 )   The paper aimed at studying the soil moisture dynamics of red soil along slope farmland. Collected data showed that soil water status of peanut slope farmland changes along with periods of year rainfall, and location of slope farmland. The 0~150cm soil pondage is divided into three stages that are water surplus period, water consume period and water complementarities period. The soil potential is in accordance with the pondage stage the variety mutually, The soil potential of the current total from diminish to back up again greatly, just the soil layer is from the top bottom, the water potential of the current value enlarge, the water potential changes to let up, the 100 cm soil layer is as follows almost yearly stable. The higher soil water potential has, the more the frequency appears, ranking in saturation> wetness> wane> drought. The frequency of saturation- moist segment is ranked in the bottom soil> the subsoil> topsoil, down slope> up slope. The drought segment of low water potential appears on up slope, the soil surface and the dry season. Interflow appears on upland slope in rainy season. Saturation zone at deeper layer of down slope lasts longer time after a rain event while it lasts shorter or no at up slope. Rainfall has slight influence on soil moisture of upland during drought season.

  Effect of Different Water Retaining Agents and Their Application Rates on the Growth and WUE of Cucumber Seeding in Sand Substrate Du Jianjun,,, Li Yongsheng, Cui Yingde, Wang Xiaoling 2006, 22 (11):  472-472.  Abstract + ( 1513 )   Using cucumber as the test plants and sand as substrate to study the effect of different water retaining agents(WRA) and their application rates on the growth and water use efficiency of the plant, the porosity, the water retention and properties of the substrate. The results showed that, for both copolymer of polyacrylamide and polyacrylate and polyacrylate , the total porosity, wet weight of the seeding and water use efficiency(WUE) were significantly increased along with the increase of WAR application rates, while the big and small pore space ratio, aeration capacity, amount of water evaporation per day, cumulated amount of water loss reduced. Higher rates of application, however, with a strong water retaining capacity and effect on prolonging the wilting time of the seeding, did not benefit the seeding because of the decrease of aeration pore space. Considering the whole results, copolymer of polyacrylamide and polyacrylate had better effect than polyacrylate.

  The Change of People’s Commune Agricultural Land Property Right System and the Effects Wu Ling,, Wang Xiaowei, Liang Xueqing 2006, 22 (11):  480-480.  Abstract + ( 1374 )   The purpose of the study of People’s Commune agricultural land property right system is to analyze the reasons of the long existence of the system of People’s Commune, and to provide inspiration and experience for economic system reform of countryside in the new period. On the basis of relevant documents and literature, by the means of quantitative and standard analysis, the paper discusses the evolution and features of People’s Commune agricultural land property system, the reasons for the change , system defects and the effects. The study shows that in the period of People’s Commune, the land property right was seriously fragmentary, there was no system for stimulation, and the expense of such management was high. The system was in the state of unbalance at the very beginning of practice, only kept by the main ideology of the country and the enforcement beyond economy, so that the efficiency was low. After the reform and open door policy was adopted, the restriction to politics and ideology of China become loose, acquiring great benefits outside of the People’s Commune propelled the innovation of agricultural land property right system.

  Responses of Farmland Market on Regional Agriculture Structure Adjustment -A Case Study of Baoying County in Jiangsu Province Liu Yang, Huang Xianjin, Fang Peng 2006, 22 (11):  490-490.  Abstract + ( 1284 )   Due to macroscopical adjustment of agricultural policy, industrial structure of regional agriculture have changed much. Then transfer of farmland develop into a new stage. Based on interviews and questionnaire in two villages in Baoying County of Jiangsu Province, we model farmland transfer direction and compare it with that in 2000. The result is that impact of net income of agriculture and incomes except it on farmland transfer have varied obviously. The major transfer direction have changed from outflow into inflow. At the same time, areas per one and educational level also varied. All of these indicated increase of economical level and maturity of agricultural market in Baoying. And we analyze the change of farmland transfer after regional industrial structure, and then give some suggestions in order to progress agricultural markets.
