Effects of Zinc on the Yield and Quality of Chinese Cabbage

Abstract: A field experiment was conducted on calcareous cinnamon soil of Shanxi Province to study the effects of zinc fertilizer on yield and quality of Chinese cabbage. The results showed that application Zinc fertilizer could increase the yield and quality of Chinese cabbage on the basis of combined application of N, P and K. The optimum amount of zinc sulfate application was 75~120 kg/hm2 when the application rates of N, P and K were urea 361.52kg/hm2, ordinary superphosphate 102.33kg/hm2, potassium sulphate 198.27 kg/hm2.
