  Biological Characteristics of Bovine Viral Diarrhoea-Mucosal Disease Virus HB Strain Zhao Yuelan,, Zuo Yuzhu, Fan Jinghui, Zhang Ning, Qin Jianhua, Liu Zhanmin, Yang Hanchun 2006, 22 (12):  1-1.  Abstract + ( 1789 )   PDF ( 135560KB )   ( 598 ) [OBJECTIVE] Bovine Viral Diarrhoea-Mucosal Disease Virus HB strain was a field strain isolated from a dairy cows flock in HeBei province. The study were progressed in order to realize characters of HB strain, provide theory base for illuminating pathogeny and control infection and prevalence of BVDV. [METHOD] The biological characteristics of the virus HB strain were determined by Physicochemical and biological analysis methods. [RESULTS] The results indicated that the virus could be seen with typical MDV virions. By negative staining electron microscope, virions were roughly round and approximately 40-60 nm in diameter with peplomers. Density is 1.13~1.14g/cm3. The hemagglutination reaction test proved that this virus had no any reaction to erythrocyte of chook, rabbit, pig and sheep. The result of TCID50 is 10-4.5. Physicochemical assays showed that this virus was sensitive to chloroform and ether and trypsin. In acid alkali tolerance assay, the virus was sensitive to pH3.0 and resistant to pH9.0. The virus was sensitive to 56℃ for 30 minute and was inactivited by heat to 56℃ for 30 minute. It was similar to tandard strain in morphological feature, density, the chemical and physical characteristics and haemagglutinating activities. Type of nucleic acid assay indicated that virions multiply could not be inhibited by 5，-IUDR. The virus genome is RNA. Five stripes of special virus structural protein were obtained by SDS—PAGE. [CONCLUSION] Virus HB Strain was a bovine viral diarrhoea-Mucosal disease virus strains.

As a technically simp le and an effective genetic tool which can exert effect on the expression of gene in some degree, and RNAi provides a new way in the study of gene function activity. The mechanisms of RNA interefence and recent advance in study on application are outlined in this paper.

Methods：The volatility fatty acid (VFA) and NH3-N was measured by GC and colotimetry. The MCP content was measured by G250 colotimetry. Results：The experiment was divided into two successive periods-in vitro and in vivo. Effect of Calcium Pyruvate on rumen digestion and metabolism in vitro was the same as in vivo. Calcium Pyruvate improves rumen digestion and metabolism. in, Calcium Pyruvate of 0.05g/kg BW/d did not change the pH of ruman, and increased the content of acetate (56.91±0.68 vs 61.68±0.79, P<0.01), reduced the rumen degradation of dietary protein (1135.81 ±34.92 vs 1225.05±49.47, mg/L),also reduced the concentration of NH3-N (3.620±0.24 vs 3.540 ±0.13,mM/L). Conclusion Calcium Pyruvate can effect on rumen metabolism.

  Breeding of High-yield Compound Enzyme Probiotic Aspergillus niger by N+ Implantation Chen Lijuan, Zhang Yunhua, Wang Baoyu, Meng Xiuli, Cheng Maoji 2006, 22 (12):  21-21.  Abstract + ( 1664 )   PDF ( 141958KB )   ( 707 ) A mutated strain ANO2 with high yield of compound enzymes was obtained from the strain ANO1 of Aspergillus niger by N+ implantation, and screened by using transparent zones of agar plate screening techniques. The results showed that activities of acid-protease, Cellulase and Pectinase in Aspergillus niger were raised signifcantly from 71.6 IU/g, 141.7 IU/g and 264.8 IU/g to 996.5 IU/g, 940.4 IU/g and 906.5 IU/g respectively. Characteristics of enzymes production in mutated strain Aspergillus niger AN02 were stabile by 5 times subculture. Biological characteristics of the original strain ANO1 and the mutant strain ANO2 were researched. Biomass and enzyme activity of the mutant strain ANO2 had positive correlation.

The production of the RT-PCR assay is 251bp and 366bp, subsequently cloned into pMD18-T Vector. The nucleotide of production was compared with the corresponding sequences of published sequence of SVDV. The nucleotide homology was 100%. Suggest that it is gene of SVDV. Specificity was tested by that amplification of FMDV、VSV、BHK21 cell was negative. The dilution of 10-4 SVDV RNA can be detected. Suggest that it has high sensitivity. The RT-PCR method is rapid, sensitive and specific for detecting SVDV.

  Effect of Several Mixed Trace Fertilizers on Microelement Nutrition of Alfalfa（Medicago sativa L.） Jie Xiaolei , Hu Huafeng, Zhen Yimin 2006, 22 (12):  28-28.  Abstract + ( 1412 )   PDF ( 248491KB )   ( 638 ) Based on soil microelement content conditions of pasture planting section in Henan province and the requirement characteristic of pasture nutrition and animal nutrition, this paper conducted the studies about the effect of the Combined Application of sevsral trace element fertilizers (Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, B, Mo and Co) on microelement nutrition of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L), in order to provide high quality pasture of different use and containing abundant trace element. The results showed that the CD compounding could remarkably increase the Zn, Fe, B’s contents of the second cut Medicago and the Zn, Fe, Cu, B ’s contents of the third cut Medicag and enhance the element’s accumulating quantity of the every cuts except the Co element of the second cut. The C1D1 compounding could remarkably increase the Mo, Co, B’s contents of the first cut Medicago and the Zn, Mo, Co, B, Fe’s contents of the second cut Medicag and the Cu, Zn, B, Fe, Mn’s contents of the third cut Medicag and enhance the element’s accumulating quantity of the every cuts except the Fe element of the second cut.   Study on the Antigenic Characteristics of E.wenyoni in Cow Zhang Fumei, Zhao Yuelan, Qin Jianhua, Zuo Yuzhu, Zhang Ning 2006, 22 (12):  34-34.  Abstract + ( 1613 )   PDF ( 415935KB )   ( 525 ) [OBJECTIVE] The study were progressed in order to pave the way for developing a specific-antigen-based assay and good quality vaccine for the E wenyoni control. [METHOD] The antigenic composition was identified tentatively with SDS-PAGE and western blotting after E.wenyoni was isolated from blood of cattle with E.wenyoni. [RESULTS] The result of SDS-PAGE showed that the molecular weights of E.wenyoni antigen covered 24kD~150kD. Nine domain proteins were clearly isolated, and their molecular weights were 141.34 kD, 107.27 kD, 86.03 kD, 68.05 kD, 56.21 kD, 44.30 kD, 32.99 kD, 28.89 kD, and 24.59kD, respectively. Three kinds of immunogenic protein were screened with western blotting, and their molecular weights were 147.31 kD, 49.03 kD and 35.72 kD, respectively. [CONCLUSION] E.wenyoni contains nine kinds of domain proteins and three kinds of immunogenic protein. They can be used for specific-antigens-based assay and protective antigens of good quality E wenyoni vaccine.

  Effects of Compound Eucommia Ulmoides on Development of Immune Organs and ND-HI Valence of Broilers Ning Kangjian, Lv Jinfang, Jin Guangming Ying Ruhai, Cheng Yuxin Yang Guoli 2006, 22 (12):  37-37.  Abstract + ( 1527 )   PDF ( 193158KB )   ( 566 ) [Objective] To observe the effects of Compound E. ulmoides with different concentration on the development of immune organs of broilers and ND-HI valence. [Methods] 400 AA broilers were divided into four groups at random. Group I, II, III and IV were fed on Compound E. ulmoides at 0, 1.25, 2.5 and 5g/L. At each weekend, eight AA broilers in each group were weighed, took blood and slaughtered randomly. Then thymus, spleen, bursa of Fabriocius were collected and weighed in order to observe its effect on thymus index, spleen index, bursa of Fabriocius index of broilers. [Results] Thymus index and bursa of Fabriocius index had no differences with groups at the first six weeks. The Spleen index of broilers in group II was significantly higher than that in group I (P <0.05) at fourteen days old and obviously higher than any other group at twenty-one days old (P <0.05). Among which group II and III had highly significant differences (P <0.01). At forty-two-day old, the spleen index of groups II and III were all significantly lower than that in group I (P <0.05) while group IV was extremely lower than that in Group I (P <0.01); ND-HI antibody level of broilers in groups III and IV were significantly higher than that in group I (P <0.05) at twenty-one days old. They reached the highest level at twenty-eight days old, ND-HI antibody level in groups II and III were significant higher than that in group I (P﹤0.05) and group IV was higher than that in group I highly significantly (P﹤0.01). [Conclusion] The Compound E. ulmoides Aqueous Extract of different concentration had certain effect on the spleen index of broilers at the first three weeks, and the group with lowest concentration had the best effect. The Compound E. ulmoides Aqueous Extract could increase the effect of ND-HI valence. They presented a kind of relationship that the more the compound E. ulmoides Aqueous Extracts were given; the stronger the effect of the ND-HI valence appeared.

The carcass weight, net meat weight, high quality meat of ND were higher than those of D. Especially in chunk tender, rump, topside, knuckle, outside p1at, eyeround, shank. The carcass weight, net meat weight, high quality meat of MD was higher than those of D, but the meat cuts have no difference between MD and D. And the cutting meats of MD have no any significant difference compared with ND. This experiment showed that crossbreeding improved the meat productive traits of pure Dehong buffalo.

  Effects of Bromocriptine Mesilate on Breeding Performance of “Huizhouma”Native hens Huang Yankun, Cheng Pu, Wang Juanjuan, Si Yuting 2006, 22 (12):  48-48.  Abstract + ( 1483 )   PDF ( 128184KB )   ( 586 ) [Objective] to study effect of bromocriptine mesilate on breeding performance of “Huizhouma”native hens. [Method] 40 birds (Huizhouma breeding hens) were allotted into trial group, other 588 birds were arranged to control group. The birds of trial group were administrated bromocriptine mesilate (1.25mg/bird/day) for 4 days, again using the drug interval 4 days; the birds of control group were no administrated drug. [Results] The result in 4 weeks showed that the laying rate of trial group and control group was 83.86%and 69.96% respectively; broken egg rate and malformed egg rate of trial group were 1.28% and 4.33%, that of control group was 1.69% and 1.19%; total egg number and hatchable egg number of trial hen were more than that of control hen 3.89 and 3.26 respectively ; average egg weight was not affected. E2 level in blood of trial group was higher than control group. [Conclusion] Synthesized and secreted of PRL and brooding hens was reduced, reproduce performance of native poultry was improved through administrate Bromocriptine mesilate.

  Antifungal activity of bacteria isolated from coast salt marsh Wang Yanyan, Liu Changhong, Chen Xin, Yucheng Gu, Xing Ying 2006, 22 (12):  56-56.  Abstract + ( 1511 )   PDF ( 107821KB )   ( 643 ) The purpose of this study is to screen microorganisms with growth inhibition against plant fungal pathogens. The plate-dilution method was used to isolate the bacteria from salt marshes at Dafeng, Jiangsu. The antifungal activity of the bacterial broth filtrates against 5 phytopathogens was determined using mycelial disk method. The antifungal compositions of four active bacteria were analyzed primarily with chromatography techniques. Two hundred and thirty-five aerobic (92) and anaerobic (143) bacterial strains have been isolated from the coast salt marsh and sixty-five strains, of which 39 are aerobic and 26 are anaerobic showed greater than 30% of inhibition rate against the growth of at least one of the phytopathogenic fungi on petri dish. Three aerobic and one anaerobic strain representing four different spectra of antifungal activities were selected to do large scale fermentation. The fermentation broths were fractionated and purified with different methods resulting in some antifungal components. To be concluded, coast salt marshes are rich in bacteria；about 28% of them show potential ability to produce antifungal substances. Particularly, strain Y6 ,Y156 and Y78 are worthy to be developed because of the water soluble nature of their active substances.

  Study on Relationships Between Soil Fertilizer and salt and Polysaccharide and Total Sugar of Lycium barbarum in Different Regions of Ningxia Niu Yan, Xu Xing, Zheng Guoqi, Wei Yuqing 2006, 22 (12):  59-59.  Abstract + ( 1578 )   PDF ( 108349KB )   ( 610 ) The relations between soil factors and polysaccharide and total sugar of Lycium barbarum was discussed. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between total sugar in different regions was significant ,the total sugar content in old producing area- Huinong was more than that in Yuanlinchang. Total sugar of Lycium barbarum presented negative correlation to Available nitrogen. The correlation coefficient between polysaccharide and soil factors was not significant, but it presented correlation against efficient Na+, Cl-. The correlation coefficient between total sugar and Na+, Cl- was not significant, but Ca2+, SO42-. Polysaccharide and total sugar of Lycium barbarum content in the fruit of Lycium barbarum L in Ningxia invariably presented positive correlation to the salt content of the earth, in which it showed markable.

  Study on the Extraction Method of Leaf Trichome Exudates in Flue-cured Tobacco Kong Guanghui 2006, 22 (12):  62-62.  Abstract + ( 1304 )   PDF ( 129519KB )   ( 583 ) In order to investigate the best extraction methods of leaf trichome exudates in flue-cured tobacco, three flued-cured tobacco varieties including “K326”, “Yunyan85” and “honghuadajinyuan”, were used in this study. Effects of different extraction degrees and different lengths of extraction time on leaf weight changes were compared. The results showed that the significant change of weight was found before the third extraction in three flue-cured tobacco varieties, while it’s no significant different in leaf weight change following the increases in extraction degrees. The effect of different extraction degrees on leaf weight change seemed little. This indicates that the three degrees extraction method of leaf trichome exudates in flue-cured tobacco is more effective, which will be useful in study on leaf trichome exudates in flue-cured tobacco for the future.

  Studies on Growth and Physiological Reaction of Zea mays in Embryoism under NaCl Stress Fu Yan, Yin Kuide, Wang Zhenhua, Gao Shuren 2006, 22 (12):  66-66.  Abstract + ( 1554 )   PDF ( 163300KB )   ( 608 ) Zea mays seedlings of inbred line(Wuming-5) and hybrid(Kenyu7) were treated with different concentrations of NaCl solution.The effects of vigor of germination,the length of buds and roots,the contents of proline,and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and hydrogen peroxidase(CAT) were investigated.With the increasing of NaCl stress:(1)the growth of the two Zea mays varieties was inhibited ,the vigor of germination and the length of buds and roots were both reduced. While there are significant differences in morphology between the two different Zea mays varieties under NaCl stress,the morphological indicators of kenyu7 were superior to wuming-5.It showed that the halophile of Kenyu7 were better than Wuming-5;(2)the contents of proline of the two Zea mays varieties increased significantly,and under high NaCl stress(150mmol/L NaCl or above) the increasing amount of the contents of proline of Kenyu7 was higher than Wuming-5 ,so it showed that the injuries of Wuming-5 imposed by NaCl stress was greater than Kenyu7;(3)the activities of CAT of the two varieties were no obviously changed,while the activities of CAT of Wuming-5 were all higher than Kenyu7 under all concentrations of NaCl solution,which hadn’t showed the correlation between the activity of CAT and salinity tolerance.While the activities of SOD of Kenyu7 were changed more significantly than Wuming-5,which suggested that the salt tolerance of Kenyu7 was better than Wuming-5.

  Studies on Eco-Physiological Characteristics of Photosynthetic of Polygonum Cuspidatum Song Qingan,, Tong Fangping,, Yi Aiqin,, Yu Wu, Liu Xiu 2006, 22 (12):  71-71.  Abstract + ( 1454 )   PDF ( 255858KB )   ( 840 ) The studies on Physiological characteristics of photosynthetic of Polygonum cuspidatum sieb.et zucc selected for ornamental culture were measured with the Licor-6400 portable photosynthetic system. The results showed that: (1) The light compensate point (LCP) of Polygonum cuspidatum was 64μmol/(m2·s) to 75μmol/(m2·s), and the light saturate point (LSP) was 390μmol/(m2·s) to 600μmol/(m2·s), and the apparent quantum efficiency between 0.0272 and 0.0387, these showed that the Polygonum cuspidatum had the weaker utilization efficiency on weak light. (2) The CO2 compensate concentration of photosynthesis was 105μmol/mol to 120μmol/mol, and the CO2 saturate concentration of photosynthesis was 930μmol/mol to 1051μmol/mol, the carboxylation efficiency was between 0.0365 and 0.0459. (3) The results showed that daily variation of net photosynthetic rate in leaves presented a single peak curve, and the peak value of the net photosynthetic rate was 15.0±1.8μmol/(m2·s), occurred about at 9:00. Among the five test materials, the results showed that the photosynthetic characteristics was the strongest for the tissue-cultured plantlets cultivation in the land, and the Guizhou Kaili’s was the worst.

  Effect of Fertilization on the Photosynthetic Characteristics of Alfalfa(Medicago sativa) in its branching period Wei Xin ju, Jia Zhi kuan, Han Qing fang, Dong Zhi xin 2006, 22 (12):  77-77.  Abstract + ( 1458 )   PDF ( 282005KB )   ( 763 ) 【Objective】The photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomata conductance of 3 year-old alfalfa in its branching period were studied under different fertilizing treatments.【Method】Using LI-6400 portable photosynthesis measurement system of LI-COR company.【Result】The photosynthetic rate of fertilizing nitrogen 10kg/hm2.【Conclusion】Fertilizing nitrogen 10kg/hm2 could increase the photosynthetic rate, water use efficiency (WUE) of alfalfa leaf. Based on fertilizing nitrogen 10kg/hm2, fertilizing phosphorus 20-40kg/hm2 could increase WUE with increments of fertilizing phosphorus. Fertilizing phosphorus 20 kg/hm2 could increase transpiration rates of leaves and markedly improved the stomata conductance and intercellular CO2 concentrations.

It has very important effect in mediating signal transduction of SAR. This has been substantiated in tobacco, cucumber and Arabidopsis et al. Salicylic acid-binding-proteins (SABP) have similar activity with catalase. Coalesce of SABP and SA can restrain the activity of catalase, make the content of hydrogen peroxide solution hoist, and accelerate the occurrence of SAR. Nonexpressor of pathogenesis-related genes 1(NPR1) is a key regulation gene in the signal transduction of SAR.

  The Effect of QH Acetone Extracts on Cold-resistance of Rice Seedlings Chen Guihua, Xiao Yansong, Bai Lianyang, Yin Li 2006, 22 (12):  90-90.  Abstract + ( 1556 )   PDF ( 564118KB )   ( 647 ) Effects of QH acetone extracts on cold-resistance of rice seedlings by the way of soaking and spaying were studied. Rrice seedlings were treated under chilling stress when they were in two-leaf-one-leaflet period. The results show that: acetone extracts treatment can increase the content of protein, enhance and keep the activities of SOD, POD, CAT after chilling stress. acetone extracts treatment can also decrease the content of MDA, increase the content of free proline, delay the damage of chlorophyll caused by chilling stress, then enhanced the cold-resistance of rice seedlings.

  The Change and Correlation Analysis of Tomato Major Character in Different Illumination Mao Xiujie, Wang Jvyuan, Sun Ming, Pan Yuxia, Sun Zhongfen 2006, 22 (12):  95-95.  Abstract + ( 1674 )   PDF ( 163994KB )   ( 600 ) Tomato variety (inbreed lines) with different low light-resistant ability had different responses against light. So the confirmation of appraising indicator of low light tolerance were helpful to filter low light-resistant tomato variety (inbreed lines) fleetly from the abundant germplasm resources and elevate selection efficiency. 4 Tomato variety (inbreed lines) with different low light-resistant ability were treated by shading after planting. The changing of photosynthetic characteristics and economic trait were studied. Correlation analysis and Path analysis of 11 characters were carried out also. The results show that the indexes such as net photosynthetic rate, Stomatal conductance, transpiration rate, fruit set percentage, per-fruit weight and yield of single plant dropped at different extents. The direct path coefficient that fruit set percentage, net photosynthetic rate, CO2 concentration between cell to yield of single plant under low light environment were 1.92, 1.76, 2.13 respectively, and Correlation coefficient were 0.53, -0.09, 0.48, respectively. It was suggested that fruit set percentage under low light environment might be used as the believable indicator to identify the low light tolerance of tomato, and net photosynthetic rate, CO2 concentration between cell under could be used as a assistant indicator.

  Study on the Eco-physiology Characteristics of Rhododendron Fortunei Zhang Zhiping, Fu Yulan, Wu Gensong, Fan Min 2006, 22 (12):  99-99.  Abstract + ( 1378 )   To provide the theoretical basis of the successful introduction of Rhododendron fortunei for the disposition in garden and the management in different growth stage, the eco-physiology indexes of Rhododendron fortunei in the different growth stage and the different place was measured by the LI-6400 portable photosynthesis. The result indicated that the curve of diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate (Pn) was dual-peaked, but the average Pn of the seedlings were smaller than the mature trees and the seedlings in the introduction place were smaller than in the original habitat. The transpiration rate (Tr) of mature trees had reached the peak at 12:00, but the seedlings were at 14:00. The analysis of correlation showed that RH had negative correlation with Pn and Tr. Temperature, PAR and CO2 density had positive correlation with Pn and Tr.

  Studies on the Change Characters of Grain Phytic Acid, Total Phosphorus, Protein and Minerals Contents in two Oat Varieties under different Irrigation Conditions Li Guirong, Zhao Baoping, Hu Yuegao, Cheng Fangmin, Zeng Zhaohai, Zhao Ningchun 2006, 22 (12):  103-103.  Abstract + ( 1689 )   The change characters in concentrations of phytic acid, total phosphorus, crude protein, Ca, Mg, K, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn in grains of two oat varieties grown different irrigated conditions were studied in proof-rainfall-canopy. The changes in grain total phosphorus and copper contents with the increase of irrigation times and quota were linear while those of phytic acid, Ca, Mg, K, Zn, Mn were quadratic in Neinongda No.1 naked oat. The changes of Baiyan No.7 hull oat in garin (husked) Zn and Fe content with the increase of irrigation times and quota was linear while those of phytic acid, total, crude protein, Ca and Mg contents were quadratic.

  Study on the Density and Exudates of Glandular Trichome of Mature Tobacco Leaves with Different Stalk Positions Kong Guang hui, Zong Hui 2006, 22 (12):  108-108.  Abstract + ( 1302 )   In view of the density and exudates content of glandular trichome depending on different developmental stages in flue-cured tobacco, the density and exudates of glandular trichome on leaves of flue-cured tobacco K326 with different stalk positions were investigated with wide visual microscope and GC/MS. The results showed that the density of glandular trichome of mature leaves was lowest in lower leaves, the second in cutter leaves, and the highest was found in upper leaves. α-Duvatriene-4-ol, β-Duvatriene-4-ol, α-Duvatriene-4,6-diol and β-Duvatriene-4,6-diol were higher in cutter leaves than that in lower leaves by 282%, 240%, 48% and 80% respectively, while those in upper leaves were higher than that in lower leaves by 991%, 687%, 74% and 129%, respectively. This indicated both the density of glandular trichome and the major components of trichome exudates of leaves were increased along with the rising of leaf stalk positions.

  The Changing of Chloroplast Regulated by Light Deng Linna, Zhou Xiaoyang 2006, 22 (12):  111-111.  Abstract + ( 1205 )   Chloroplast was a sensitive organelle. The formation and development of chloroplast can be regulated by different environmental factors. The changes of chloroplast affected photosynthesis directly, light had a great influence on the development of chloroplast. Study the changing of chloroplast regulated by light in the purpose of provide theoretically base for how to improve conditions to control the development of chloroplast, promote the development of chloroplast, valid exploitation the light energy, enhance the crop photosynthesis in agriculture. The conformation and structure of chloroplast; the process of chloroplast development were summarized in this paper. The changes of the inner materials and ultra structure of chloroplast under continuous-light, pulse-light, intermittent-light and other different light conditions were reviewed and discussed.

  Differentia on Response of Photosynthesis Rate and Light Use Efficiency toLight Intensity for Soybean (Glycine max Merr.) and Maize (Zea mays L.) Fan Rongfeng 2006, 22 (12):  117-117.  Abstract + ( 1478 )   The differentia on response of photosynthesis rate and light use efficiency to light intensity between Soybean and Maize during the prophase, metaphase and anaphase of growth in Northeastern China were investigated and simulated by Michaelis-Menten equation and Dagneli equation. The results showed that both of Michaelis-Menten equation and Dagneli equation primely simulated response of photosynthesis rate to light intensity, and their effect was consilient. But the parameters of maximum photosynthesis, initial quantum efficiency and dark respiration by Michaelis-Menten equation was very distinctly bigger than them by Dagneli equation. However, maximum photosynthesis by Michaelis-Menten equation was even more closed to praxis, and dark respiration by Michaelis-Menten equation was even more closed to praxis. In every phase of growth, maximum photosynthesis and initial quantum efficiency of maize by Michaelis-Menten or Dagneli equation was very distinctly bigger than them of soybean. Light use efficiency rised up as the rising of light intensity then decreaced. The average light use efficiency of soybean was 0.0185 mol/mol, Maize is 0.0281 mol/mol when light intensity was 0~2000μmol/m2/s. Light use efficiency variance was found among different phase of growth. The light use efficiency of soybean and maize was relatively lower in the prophase, rised in the metaphase, decreaced in the anaphase. The light use efficiency of Maize was 1.6 times than that of soybean during whole phase of growth.

  The Effect of Salicylic Acid on Oxidantive and Antioxidative Response of Aegilops Tauschii Roots under Water Deficit Cui Xianghuan, Hao Fushun, Zhao Ruiguang 2006, 22 (12):  123-123.  Abstract + ( 1525 )   The effects of salicylic acid (SA) on the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and activities of antioxidative enzymes in Aegilops tauschii roots by 20% PEG6000 were investigated. 20% PEG6000 resulted in significant increase in the contents of O2, H2O2 and MDA and decrease in the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione reductase (GR), catalase (CAT) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) in Aegilops tauschii roots. However, SA obviously inhibited the increase in the level of MDA and O2- induced by PEG6000 and relieved the effects of PEG6000 on the activities of SOD, GR and CAT. The activities of APX were not obviously changed by SA after treatment PEG. These results suggest that SA may relieve the damage to Aegilops tauschii by altering the activities of SOD, GR and CAT under water deficit.

  The Ecological, Economic Effects and Comprehensive Evaluation on the Multi-crop Patterns of Corn in the Paddy Field Huang Guoqin,, Huang Luxing 2006, 22 (12):  127-127.  Abstract + ( 1440 )   Screening suitable multi-cropping patterns of corn in the paddy field in the southern China, it can resolve the contradiction of deficiency of corn in the South by extending the suitable pattern, and get the best comprehensive effect as well. The author continually researches the different multi-cropping patterns in the experimental field of JXAU from 1998 to 2005. In this paper, the yield, energy flow, material flow, economic efficiency, ecological efficiency of the different multi-cropping patterns of corn in the paddy field have been analyzed, as a result, treatment F (Chinese milk vetch-spring corn intercropping early soybean-late rice) has the highest yield, it reaches 15918 kg/hm2. Firstly, screen all of the targets which have been analyzed in the paper by using principal component analysis (PCA), then determine the weight of various targets by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP), finally, do the comprehensive evaluation for ecological, economic and social benefits by using comprehensive index method, it indicates that the treatment F(Chinese milk vetch-spring corn intercropping early soybean-late rice)is the best, and the comprehensive evaluation index is 0.9416, it can be applied widely in the two-crop paddy fields in the southern China.

  Effect of Irrigation and Phosphorus Application on Crop Root and Yield in Intercropping System Zhang Lijun，Zhang Enhe 2006, 22 (12):  133-133.  Abstract + ( 1281 )   Field experiment was conducted in wheat /maize/potato intercropping system at the cheng zhuang station in JingTai in 2003;Accordingly,tube simulating experiment was done by using the 30cm diameter PVC tube in wheat/maize intercropping system in the net house of Gansu Agricultural University in 2003.The results were showed that crop root grew deeper and crop yield increased with light water deficit (60%-65%).Under the condition of serious water deficit ,root fresh weight and crop yield in intercropping system reduced significantly. Fresh root weight of wheat and maize under the treatment of phosphorus application were 94.66% and 67.67% higher than those under the no phosphorus application treatment at the jointing stage of wheat (seedling stage of maize); 42.08% and 124.13% at the stage of milky stage of wheat (male tetrad stage of maize); 61.61% and 82.58% after harvesting of wheat (milky stage of maize ).From field experiment ,it were also indicated that crop economic yields got to the highest under the treatment of middle irrigation (W2:P1050m3/hm2) and high phosphorus (P2:150kgP2O5/hm2).

  Ancestral Analysis of Soybean Cultivars Released in Guangxi Liang Jiang, Feng Lanshu, Chen Yuan, Wei Qingyuan 2006, 22 (12):  139-139.  Abstract + ( 1960 )   The auther made an analysis of genetic relationship of the ancestors with their derivative cultivars released in Guangxi, and calculated their coancestry coefficients in this paper. The results showed that the total 12 soybean cultivars and 5 breeding lines released in Guangxi during 1981~2005 can be traced back to 25 ancestors. Among them, 8 were landraces, 14 unknown strains from other provinces, and 3 exotic introductions, one cultivar can be traced back to 2.9 ancestors average. Many ancestors only derived a cultivar, but a few ancestors have derived more than two cultivars. For example, Jingxi Soybean derived 7 cultivars, Beijing Soybean 6, PingGuo Soybean 3 and so on. Single cross are key breeding models in Guangxi, there are 16 from this model among the total 17 strains.

  Plant Growth and Grain Yield Formation under Different Tillage Patterns and Different Planting Densities in the System of Rice Intensification Xia Yu, Yang Wei Fang, Tang Mao Yan, Li Ru Ping, He Li Jian, Guo Li, Liang Tian Feng, Jiang Li Geng 2006, 22 (12):  144-144.  Abstract + ( 1561 )   Experiments were conducted to study plant growth and grain yield formation with Jinyou 253 and Zhongyou 315 as experimental materials under two soil tillage patterns and three planting densities in the system of rice intensification. Results showed that tillage patterns and planting densities made obvious influence on plant growth and grain yield. Under different planting densities with the same tillage pattern, tillers per plant increased with increase of planting space while tillers per unit area decreased with increase of planting space; The maximum leaf area at heading as well as its withering decreased with increase of planting space; Dry matter accumulation before heading decreased with increase of planting space, but the accumulation after heading was the most under the density of 35cm×35cm, and the total accumulation at ripening decreased with increase of planting space, Apparent transportation rate of dry matter in stem and leaf decreased with increase of planting space; Effective panicles decreased with increase of planting space while spikes per panicle, seed set rate and 1000-grain weight increased with increase of planting space. Grain yield decreased with increase of planting space under no-tillage pattern, however, it was the highest under the density of 35cm×35cm and conventional tillage pattern.

  Effect of Radiation on Genetic Abilities of Major Characters of Winter Wheat Zhang Xuepin, Wu Shaohui, Duan Guohui, Gao Haitao, Liu Hongpo, Wang Yanfang, Yang Hongqiang, Yu Siping 2006, 22 (12):  148-148.  Abstract + ( 1714 )   4 water field wheat cultivars were selected as the female parents and 4 dry field wheat cultivars as the male parents, 16 hybrid combinations were formulated using the 4*4 incompleted dialled in dry farming. Four dry parents with M2.5 dose were treated by radiation, 16 hybrid combinations were completed using the 4*4 incompleted dialled. The result shows that: the general coordinate force’s effect of single grain weight of Zhongyou 9507, Luoyou 9906 and Luoyou 9909 increases after they were radiated. The factors of yield’s construction about the spike number per plant, the grain number per spike, the grain’s weight –1000 and the biology yield per plant are the same. The general genetic ability and the narrow genetic ability of them reduced. But the rang of the general genetic ability reduction is greater for grain weight per plant and the grain number per spike, it is same for the narrow genetic ability reduction for the length of spike. The general genetic ability of the grain number per spike and the grain weight per spike reduced, but the narrow genetic of them increased.

  Advances in Development and Utilization of Nuclear Male-sterile Lines in Cotton Lan Jiayang, Zhan Xianjin, Zhang Xingzhong, Hu Zhigang, Chen Quanqiu 2006, 22 (12):  152-152.  Abstract + ( 1393 )   The methodology of developing nuclear male-sterile line and its usage in cotton were reviewed in the paper. There were 17 kinds of nuclear male-sterile lines that were developed through different methods including selecting from mutants, artificial induction, genetic improvement and creating by biological technique. With male sterility (ms14 and ms5ms6) applied to cotton breeding, 28 hybrid varieties were bred in China. The research on production of hybrid seeds and marker of male sterility was also summarized. It is proposed that the key of extending utilization of male sterility is to break through in creating marked male-sterile lines, and assistant castration by manual work is efficiency in currently production of nuclear male-sterile hybrid seeds.

  Studies on the Characteristics of Fertility Alteration in Two New Indica Rice of Photo-Thermo Sensitive Genic Male Sterile Lines Wei He, Guo Jianfu, Wang Fengqing, Huang Yongxiang, Zhu Hongbo 2006, 22 (12):  157-157.  Abstract + ( 1301 )   In order to study the characteristics of fertility alteration in two new Photo-Thermo Sensitive Genic Male Sterile (P/TGMS) lines, H61S and H69S were observed under controlled conditions and natural conditions by ways of different sowing dates in 2005~2006. The results showed that: (1) Day-length had no obvious influence on fertility transition for the two P/TGMS lines, while temperature was the main factor of fertility transition. (2) The sensitive stages of temperature on fertility expression for H61S and H69S which were 19~10d and 20~10d before heading respectively, were similar to Pei’ai64S (20~19d), and the most sensitive periods were 17~13d for all the three male sterile lines above. (3) The critical temperatures were 24.2℃, 25.3℃, 26.1℃ for H61S, H69S and Pei’ai64S (CK) respectively when the fertile pollen rates was one percent. (4) The two P/TGMS lines had high self-setting rate and long stable sterile period, and so they could be multiplied and produced hybrid-seeds safely, but their fertile periods were short in Zhanjiang. Compared with Pei’ai64S (CK), the periods of fertility alteration for H61S and H69S were shorter.

  Principal Component and Cluster Analysis of Main Agronomic Characters of Rice in Ningxia Li Peifu, Yang Shuqin, Ma Hongwei 2006, 22 (12):  162-162.  Abstract + ( 1646 )   The key factor of the rice varieties that whether could be cultivated in native region was the rice varieties with broad genetic basis and far genetic distance, and it was also the basis of choice parent in crossing breeding. The method of multiple factor statistic analysis was often used to examine the genetic difference between varieties and understand the genetic distance between parents. The materials in this experiment were the varieties of main cultivated or new brought in yellow river irrigation areas of Ningxia in many years. The twelve main agronomic characters of twenty rice varieties were investigated, and twelve main characters which showed notability difference were used to principal components analysis. Common factors were separated from principal component and used to cluster analysis. The average number of main characters in every class was calculated, and every class variety characteristic was obtained. The result showed that the twelve main characters of twenty rice varieties could be classified into five principal components. Through cluster analysis, twenty rice varieties could be classified into four class after choose proper threshold according to genetic distance, showing near genetic distance and narrow genetic basis in twenty rice varieties, and most varieties of Ningxia was collected mainly in the fourth class. Therefore, when choosing the parents in intercross breeding in rice, the parents should be complemented to each other in the principal component, and another parent was selected in other class, and combining with grain quality of rice, the new variety with excellent agronomic characters and grain quality and high product was brought up. When improved one or two characters, one parent accord with the demands of breeding object, another parent may be chosen in other varieties not so far for genetic distance in each other.

  Research on the Characteristics of Yangyou No.6 (Brassica napus L.) to Suitable for the Mechanized Operation Zhang Yongtai, Li Aimin, Hui Feihu, Zhou Rumei, Zhang Ying 2006, 22 (12):  167-167.  Abstract + ( 1382 )   To enhance the research of mechanized operation for rapeseed, and understand the Yangyou NO. 6 suitable for mechanized operation, Field experiment were conducted on the sowing-date research of different varieties and density research of Yangyou No.6 under the different sowing-dates. Results showed that Yangyou No.6 had a higher output level and stronger ability to tolerate later sowing, and they all could have higher yield sowing before Oct.23. Under the condition of the different sowing-dates, the density had greater influence on Yangyou No.6's output. With the postponement of sowing-date, higher density (60×104plants/hm2、75×104plants/hm2)had better compensation function to output level of Yangyou No.6. Meanwhile, with improvement of density, some properties as shoot height, stem thickness were too obviously dropping, and more benefit to harvest by machine. From the experiments, Yangyou No.6 have better suitable for mechanized operation.

  Content Analysis of Amino Acid Among Early Rice Zhang Haifeng, Ye Xinfu 2006, 22 (12):  175-175.  Abstract + ( 1232 )   Content and compositions of amino acid among 8 early rice varieties were analyzed in the paper. The results showed that the content of each kind of amino acid was similar with the tested varieties. The content of Glu in the tested varieties was not only largest, but also the difference of content of Ser was notable between Guyou 150 and other tested varieties. In the meanwhile, the difference of content of Leu was notable between You I316 and other tested varieties. The difference was not notable between Lys and Thr among all tested varieties. The content of each kind of amino acid was not much different among 8 tested varieties.

  The Effects of 60Coγ-ray Radiation on the Seed Germination and the Seedlings of Tobacco Hu ZhongYi, Ren Xueliang, Zheng Shaoqing 2006, 22 (12):  178-178.  Abstract + ( 1528 )   Three different varieties of tobacco dry seeds were irradiated with various doses of (200~400Gy) 60Coγ-ray, the seed germination and the character of seedling stage of M1 were surveyed. The data obtained was treated with the method of multi-comparison of new-multiple significant ranges. The germination rate, vigor of germination, germination index and the length of young roots and buds after 7 and 14 days of M1 during different bearing periods were researched. The results indicated that at the range of 200~400Gy, with the increasing amount of the dose, germination rate, vigor of germination and germination index decreased, young roots and buds grew slowly. The difference between each dose and control reached the level of 0.05 or 0.01 significance. To the length of young roots and buds, different doses of γ-ray had great effect on the length of young roots and buds most, the young roots and buds were restrained strongly (the difference between each dose and control reached 0.01 level significance), had less effect on germination index, vigor of germination and germination rate.

  A Study on Distant Hybridization of Gossypium hirsutum L. and Gossypium barbadense L. Feng Keyun 2006, 22 (12):  181-181.  Abstract + ( 1337 )   In this paper, the distant hybridization of Natural Green Cotton GC1011(Gossypium hirsutum L.) and Seaisland cotton 324 (Gossypium barbadense L.) is reported. The character of each F1 plant is stable. Separation of F2 plants is crazy. Four stable hybrids, e.g G324-1, G324-6, 324-1 and 324-24 line were obtained by orthoselected for 5 years. The fibre is natural green. The lengths of fibre are 28.3mm, 27.8mm, 28.5mm, 28.1mm, and their total yields per ha are 4962kg, 4936.5 kg, 4929kg and 4956 kg. They have higher resistence to aphides and cotton-wilt. Therefore, it is suggest that they could be applicated in cultivating.

  The Study on high Yield and Analysis on Yield Components in Baimian 2 Zhang Jinbao,, Wang qinglian 2006, 22 (12):  184-184.  Abstract + ( 1370 )   Lint yield was composed of three important factors of the number of cotton bolls per 667m2, boll weight and ginning outturn. According to 2002-2004 year Henna area experiment and production experiment results of Baimian 2, The statistics yield components in Baimian 2 were carried out, The contribution of the number of cotton bolls per 667 m2 is biggest among all the yield components, the contribution of ginning outturn is less than that of the number of cotton bolls per 667m2, The contribution of the weight per cotton boll is least. The analysis of partial correlation showed that there were two negative correlation between the number of cotton bolls per 667 m2 and boll weight and ginning outturn. among the two negative correlation, the coefficient of partial correlation r13.2y=-0.8196** was extreme significance. In environment factor cultivated practice, The high yield can be attained by high numbers of cotton bolls per plant, high ginning outturn and stable weight of cotton bolls and optimum density, the optimum density is 8.25×104–9.0×104 plants/hm2.

  The Utilization of The Oryza Officinalis Breed Restorer Line and Its Application Mo Yong sheng, Wei Zheng, LI Zhi fang, NongYou ye, Yang Qin qiong,Jiang De shu, Huang Lin, Lu Wen bei,Nong Dingguo, Zhao Bowei, Lu Sheng an 2006, 22 (12):  187-187.  Abstract + ( 1267 )   The paper introduced the way and method for utilizing Oryza Officinalis to breed a new hybrid rice restorer line directly by crossbreeding. The method was being made use of five different Oryza sativa with different characters, one of which is Oryza Officinalis that as a main parent used to cross with the others, and adopted an idea of “big population and abounding generations” for selection. Through this way, the author had made good use of the strong resistance, good compatibility and good rice quality of Oryza Officinalis; and got an excellent hybrid rice restorer line: Ce253 successfully, also got a series good hybrid rice breeds that have high yield, good compatibility and good agronomic characters, using Ce253 as a parent. It was the first time for using the Oryza Officinalis breeding an excellent hybrid rice restorer line directly, through the Oryza Officinalis cell nucleus gene. It developed a new successful-way for hybrid rice breeding. The paper also introduced the application and social benefits of the Ce253 and its hybrid breeds.

  Analysis on Condition of Wheat Breeding in Heilongjiang Province And the Relative Tactics Study Liu Jingsong 2006, 22 (12):  190-190.  Abstract + ( 1373 )   From 1986 to 2005, 90 wheat varieties have been bred and popularized in Heilongjiang province. In these varieties, medium varieties and late varieties make up 64.4%. Per unit area yield is 1808 kg/hm2 in 1986, but is 3167 kg/hm2 in 2005, it increased by 1.75 per cent. The main cause of increase per unit area yield is increase of 1000-grain weight. The quantity of varieties has been improved, that important manifestation is increase of sedimentation value. Despite the large quantity of wheat varieties in the Heilongjiang province, we are still short of outstanding wheat varieties. According to present problem, 4 suggestions have been put forward.

  Effect of Foliar Fertilization in Autumn on Fruit Development of Apricot in Protected Cultivation Zhang Anning,Wang Jinzheng,Qin Dong,Xue Xiaomin,Wang Jinying 2006, 22 (12):  194-194.  Abstract + ( 1418 )   Autumn foliar treatment was effective to increase the nutrition accumulation of fruit tree, opulent nutrition supplying assured the fruit cell splitting, meanwhile it was the base of fruit size increasing. Autumn nitrogen treatment influenced the hormone content in stick of apricot grown in plastic greenhouse before blooming, ABA and GA were important during the course of dormancy breaking in apricot, the urea treatment of 3% and 5% influenced the hormone content in stick which was beneficial to dormancy breaking and bud developing. Different concentration of urea all influenced the hormone content in stick before blooming, that increased the new shoot growth amount in former period as well as promoted the fruit diameter in length and breadth. To sum up, the urea concentration about 3% was more suited for autumn foliar treatment of apricot in protected cultivation.

  Effects of the Diferrent Species of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi on the Vegetative Growth and Mineral Contents in Trifoliate Orange Seedings Wang Chunhua, Yang Xiaohong, Li Dongyan, Yu Guibao, Qin Qin 2006, 22 (12):  199-199.  Abstract + ( 1445 )   【Objective】 It is a new tendency to obtained some vigorous citrus seedlings and improve fruit quality by the way of mycorrhizal citrus seedlings. After a series reasourches of mycorrhizal trifoliate seedlings (Poncirus trifoliata), this experiment try to select a better dominant species (isolate) of AM fungi for an inoculum of trifoliate orange seedling.【Method】Pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of AM fungi Gigaspora margarita，Glomus mosseae and Glomus versiforme on the vegetative growth and mineral contents of trifoliate seedlings, and the inoculation effects were compared among the three species.【Result】 The roots of seedlings can be colonized effectively by AM fungi. Compared with the control, Inoculation could promote the vegetative growth including the shoots and roots. The improving effected on the root system was significant, especially on the fibrous root. Inoculation with AM fungi also significantly increased the levels of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu and Mn in seedling leaves. The effect of three species of AM fungi decreased in the following order: Glomus mosseae, Gigaspora margarita and Glomus versiforme. But the mineral contents of leaves did not go all the way with the trend of growth.【Conclusion】The inoculation effects of Glomus mosseae among the three AM fungi on the seedlings were best in the vigorous vegetative growth, minaeral absorbability example for N, P, Mg and Cu. Yet the dependency of trifoliate orange seedlings to G.mosseae was strongest compared with the other two species of AM fungi. So, the species of G.mosseae is the best fitting inoculum for mycorrhizal trifoliate orange seedlings among the three AM fungi in this experiment.

There was a great difference of net photosynthesis rate for different canopy locations. The phenomenon, Noon recess, appeared obviously at noon in the green house. The predominated factors are irradiation and temperature. The nonlinear equation was fitted in terms of photosynthesis rate and photo synthetically active radiation. The results are useful to environment regulation in the similar greenhouse.

  General Determining Heat Tolerance for Dendrothema cultivars with Small Flowers Yao Shi cai, Qin Helan, Gu Run ze 2006, 22 (12):  217-217.  Abstract + ( 1438 )   Flowering state heat hurt degree and relative physiological index were measured to determine the heat tolerance of five new cultivars in Dendrthema with small flowers. Results showed that flower bud differentionation developing and flower colour weren，t affected by high temperature in heat tolerant cultivar, which showed late and least fall in chlorophyll a、a＋b content,slowest rise in eletric conductivity with the prolongation heat treatment time. Ai and A8 were the best heat tolerant cultivars,while A9、Y were the worst heat tolrant cultivars,A27 was arranged between them.

  Variation and Correlation Research of Main Fruit Characters of Pumelo Cultivars Lu Huaqiong, Su Zhixian 2006, 22 (12):  220-220.  Abstract + ( 1192 )   Variation and correlation of main fruit characters of 31 pumelo cultivars were studied and analyzed. The results indicated that the range of variation coefficient was from 9.18% to 82.59%. Correlation analysis showed that: there were definitely notable positive relationship between fruit weight and fruit diameter and fruit length, notable positive relationship between fruit weight and juice rate, definitely notable negative relationship between fruit weight and number of seeds per fruit and flavor; definitely notable negative relationship between vitamin C and fruit diameter, juice rate and titratable acid; definitely notable positive relationship between flavor and vitamin C, ratio of soluble solids to titratable acid and ratio of soluble sugar to titratable acid; definitely notable negative relationship between flavor and titratable acid, notable negative relationship between flavor and juice rate, edible rate, fruit weight and fruit diameter.

  The Effect of Substrates Quantity on the Growth and Development of Cucumber Shou Weisong, Liang Xiaodong, Dong Wenqi, Lei Juanli, Xu Zhihao, Dai Danli 2006, 22 (12):  223-223.  Abstract + ( 1356 )   In order to study the best substrate quantity in the eco-organic soilless culture system, substrate quantity ranged 1~5L per plant on cucumber growth and development were studied. The results showed that cucumber growth and output were affected by the substrates quantity, within the substrates range of 1~5L per plant, the more substrate quantity used, the better of cucumber growth and also the higher output. However, there were no significant differences of growth and output of cucumber between 4L and 5L per plant. Considered the substrates cost, the benefit of 4L per plant were higher than 5L per plant with 370 yuan per 667m2. In order to reduce cost and improve benefits, when rice hull ash and sawdust were used as substrates, 4L per plant, i.e. 8m3 per 667m2, should be used.

  Preliminary Study on Effect of Benzalkonium Bromide Pretreatment on Preservation of Cut Chrysanthemum Yang Ji Shuang, Zhang Qin, Di Bao, Zhang Gang, Sun Bao Wen, 2006, 22 (12):  226-226.  Abstract + ( 1317 )   In order to prevent environmental pollution from Ag+, it is necessary to develop a pretreatment solution without Ag+ for cut chrysanthemum. Having pretreated the cut flowers in different concentration of benzalkonium bromide (a germicide without Ag+) for different times, then transplanted into water and kept in the room at 20~25℃, we investigated the effect of benzalkonium bromide on preservation. Compared with other methods, the effect on preservation of the cut flowers, pretreated in 100 ml/L benzalkonium bromide for 3 hours, was obvious. The fresh flower weights increased slowly, few or none leaves were wilting after transplanted into water for 6 days. Etiolation of the leave slowed down and almost 90% leaves kept fresh after 12 days. The flower buds blooming speed also slowed down, 50% of flower buds were opened, petals were kept fresh, the stems of cut flower were unbent, and none flowers were drooped after 15 days. These results indicated that the cut flowers after pretreated in solution with 100 ml/L benzalkonium bromide for 3 hours, the vase life extended further than the other pretreatments.

  The comparison of ability of adsorbing formaldehyde among 13 species of indoor ornamentals Zhou Xiaojing, Liang Shuangyan, Jin Youju,Wang Jun, Zhao Huien 2006, 22 (12):  229-229.  Abstract + ( 1974 )   【Conclusion】In order to provide people for an effective method of removing indoor air pollution of formaldehyde;【Method】13 species of indoor ornamentals were chosen in this experiment. Pot and soil were covered by plastic film to separate from the top plants, before they were put in the self-designed glass boxes. After the given concentrated formaldehyde was vented into the glass boxes for 15h and 24h, the concentration of formaldehyde and plant leaf area were measured. Thus the adsorption ability of 13 plants were ordered by comparing the decreasing of formaldehyde amount per unit of leaf area(mg/m2);【Results and Objective】The results showed that the adsorption ability of Syngonium podophillum etc. is much stronger than that of Aloe vera var.chinensis etc.

  The Separation of The Fruit Traits in The DH Population of Capsicum annuum L and the Comparison with DH Population and F2 Population Zhang Shugen,, Shen Huolin, Jiang Zhongren, Li Chunling,and Xing Yongping 2006, 22 (12):  232-232.  Abstract + ( 1661 )   In order to analyze the stability of inheritance about the DH population and explore the difference of the segregations of fruit traits between the DH population and the F2 population, One DH population of pepper was constructed by utilizing the anther culture technology. This population was consisted of 103 DH lines from the donor pepper with the bull-horn shape, which was hybridized by pepper with the shape of sheep-horn (97403) and sweet pepper with the shape of blocky (97410). Mainly based on 5 fruit traits, such as weight per fruit, the genetic phenotypes of this DH population were analyzed and compared with the homologous F2 population. The coefficient of variation (CV) in 5 fruits traits of the primary donor and its parents was relatively low. Moreover, significant differences were observed in every trait among three populations. These results indicated the uniformity of primary donor and its parents. The average, CV and separated region (SR) were also analyzed and compared in each trait from DH and F2 population. The result suggested that 5 fruit traits were quantitative traits controlled by the multiple genes. Due to gene recombination, both super-parent genotypes with positive and negative aspects were observed in either DH or F2 populations. However, both SR of each trait and super-parent separated types in the DH populations were significantly increased compared with the F2 populations. The obtained DH lines which were all stable-genetic inbreeding lines improved the selection efficiency of anther culture breeding.

To take one-year-old and two-year-old branch of great leaf wolfberry from Guangxi as material for cutting propagation, we had observed the condition of take root of cuttings; and compared the condition of take root of one years old cuttings under different cover material and different port of cuttings and different hormone. Meanwhile we primarily studied cultivation techniques in the sunlight hothouse. The results showed: the two-year-old branch struck root faster and the number of root was more than one-year-old branch. The cuttings struck more roots when it was covered by plastic film than covered by sunshading net and constrast; the cuttings of middle port struck root fast and the number of root was the most among primary port and middle port and top port of abranch;the number of root of the cuttings that were treated with NAA300mg/L were the most among NAA100mg/L and NAA200mg/L and NAA300mg/L and IBA100mg/L and IBA200mg/L and IBA300mg/L.

  Analysis of Features of Agroclimatic Changes in Songnen Plain in the Past 40 Years Wang Zongming, Song Kaishan, Zhang Bai, Liu Dianwei 2006, 22 (12):  241-241.  Abstract + ( 1916 )   Based on monthly climatic data from 1961 to 2000, the changing characteristics and trend of agroclimatic elements in Songnen Plain were studied. Results showed that, under the circumstances of global warming, during the past 40 years, the average annual temperature increased obviously and the warming speed was above 0.4℃/10a. After 1980, the warming trend was more obvious. The average air temperature in every season and in cropping season increased significantly. The average temperature in winter increased with the biggest ratio. The annual and winterly average maximum temperature increased with obvious trend. The annual, seasonal, and cropping average minimum temperature added significantly. Among which, the increasing ratio of average minimum temperature in winter and in spring were larger. For annual rainfall and the rainfall in 4 seasons, there was no obvious trend to increase or to decrease. However, during the period 1961-1980, rainfall in cropping season decreased significantly. The study results could be of interest for crop planning and cropping structure adjustment in Songnen Plain.

Results showed that: Resources of agricultural species in Tibet have their own advantages and distinguishing features, as well as the current network for breeding and popularizing of agricultural species are in the good status of construction, while the disadvantages and some problems, such as degenerating and mixture of species, weakness of infrastructure et. al., also existed. The next important target is to establish a new network for breeding and popularizing of agricultural species with Tibet’ characteristics, the main contents of construction were to improve the sub-system of breeding and popularizing especially for agricultural species of crops, livestock & poultry, and aquatics. In the end, the main countermeasures to advance the sustainable utilization of agricultural species in Tibet, including enhancing leadership, increasing investment, supporting enterprise of managing seed, strengthening management et. al., were put forward.

The counter measures of solving these problems were suggested as follows: firstly, using water resources and fertilizer reasonably and choosing salt tolerance crops to control saltinization; secondly, choosing acid tolerance feed and using the chemical method to control acid rain; finally, soil erosion could be controlled by bioremediation.

  The Investigation and Evaluation of Pb, Cd, Cr, Hg of the Vegetable Soils in North of Anhui Province Yu Qunying, Li Xiaoliang, Wang Jianfei， 2006, 22 (12):  263-263.  Abstract + ( 1479 )   The contents of heavy metal (Pb, Cd, Cr, Hg) in the vegetable soils collected from the main vegetable production areas in north of Anhui province were examined and analyzed to evaluate the vegetable soils status of heavy metal contamination. The evaluation of environmental quality of the vegetable soils was carried out by using the Nemerow index method. The results showed that the mean contents of Pb, Cd, Cr, Hg of the vegetable soils in of north Anhui were 22.5, 0.247, 63.2, 0.040 mg/kg and the mean integrated heavy metal pollution index of the vegetable soils was 0.64. The vegetable soils were good in quality on the whole. Some of the vegetable soils were polluted with heavy metals, Cd and Hg were the major pollution contributors. The contents of Cd and Hg were significantly correlated with soil total P,available P and the time of plating vegetables.

  The Comprehensive Development and Regional Planning of Agriculture Climate Resources in Shanxi Province Han Jin tao. In order to realize agriculture climate resources reasonable development and utilization, according to the agriculture climate information of 109 counties and agriculture meteorology condition needed by the regional crops, on the basis of the aridity index, we determined the indexes of the comprehensive development and regional planning of agriculture climate resources. In addition, we divide the whole province into 7 regions for comprehensive development and utilization of agriculture climate resources, and comments on the direction of agriculture development of each region in the future are put forward. And we put forward the problems: (1) Low plots planted indexes, failing to fully exploit the Climate resources of time, (2) Low vegetation cover, failing to fully exploit the solar thermal resources in terms of space, (3) Large areas of soil erosion, declining soil fertility, (4) Agricultural production structure is Unreasonable. Putting forward fully use mountain climate resources, realize three-dimensional layout of agriculture and enhance regional vegetation cover are the direction of the development of agricultural climate resources in Shanxi.

It results in looser and less settleable sludge flocs, and in severe cases the operation of the treatment plant can be totally compromised. In this review, the present state of bulking sludge research is evaluated. Bulking sludge can be divided into Filamentous bulking and no-Filamentous bulking. Quality of wastewater, dissolved oxygen, sludge loading, shock loading, operation model and treatment processes are the main affecting factors for bulking sludge. Bulking sludge can be effectively controlled by different control measures, such as temporary control measures, technology design of control measures and technology operation of control measures. Several hypotheses about bulking sludge were formulated in the hope of finding a general explanation for this problem. Unfortunately, none of them led to a definitive solution; moreover, most of the theories still lack experimental verification. Therefore, it is essential to further perfect the current basic theoretical framework to approach and understand bulking sludge and provide a basin theory about controlling the bulking sludge.

  Toxicological and Biochemical Characterizations of Acetylcholinesterase in Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) GuoYingliu, Yu Xinchai, Dan Danwei, Jin Junwang 2006, 22 (12):  303-303.  Abstract + ( 1425 )   To clarify the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) changes among different developmental stages of Tribolium castaneum (Herbst), the toxicological and biochemical characterizations of AChE in 10-d larvae, 20-d larvae, pupae and adults were investigated, respectively with the microplate reader method. The results showed that there were significant differences of protein content and the AChE activity and specific activity among the four developmental stages of T. castaneum. The protein contents of AChE were 10-d larvae < 20-d larvae < pupae < adults, while the AChE activity and specific activity were adults < pupae < 10-d larvae < 20-d larvae. The kinetic analysis of AChE revealed that the apparent Michaelis-Menten constants (Km) by magnitude were as follows: pupae < adults <10-d larvae < 20-d larvae. And no significant difference appeared between the Km values of pupae and adults. In addition, the maximum velocity (Vmax) in larvae was significant higher than those in pupae and adults. In vitro inhibition studies of larvae AChE indicated that the I50 values of 20-d larvae were higher than those of 10-d larvae when treated with eserine, malaoxon and carbaryl, respectively, suggesting that AChE in 20-d larvae was less sensitive to the inhibitors.

Therefore, research on the inheritance and breeding of resistance to rice stripe is very important. In the paper, the utilization and screening of gene resources resistant to rice stripe, the relationship between rice stripe virus and its vector resistance, the mapping of resistant genes, and the clone and expression of the resistant genes from rice stripe virus were reviewed. The strategies for further research on the inheritance and breeding of resistance to rice stripe were discussed.

The functional responses of Harmonia axyridis(Pallas) on three species of aphids[ Chaitophorus populeti (Panzer), Rhopalosiphum padi (Linnaeus), Lipaphis erysimi (Kalteback)] were investigated in the laboratory. The results showed that the 4th instar larvae had the biggest daily predation capacity，followed by adults and the 3rd instar larvae .The smallest is the 1st and 2nd instar larvae. The functional response of Harmonia axyridis(Pallas) to aphids was simulated with models of Holling-Ⅱ.

  The Inhibition of Plant Extracts against Colletotrichum lagenarium Tian Feifei, Sun Mingqing , Jiang Jizhi , Wang Shutong, Li Zhaochun, Zhu Jiehua 2006, 22 (12):  327-327.  Abstract + ( 1833 )   [OBJECTIVE] The new plant fungicide will benefit the effective control of the disease caused by Colletotrichum lagenarium. [METHOD] Thirty four species of 80% ethanol plant extracts (PE) stored for six months were tested against C. lagenarium by using growth rate and WA flat germination. [RESULTS] The inhibitory rate of 11 PE against conidium germination of C. lagenarium was higher 60% (for example, Glycyrrhiza yralensis, Lycium barberum and Desmodium styracifolium) as the concentration 0.01g/ml. Especially, the G. yralensis showed the strongest inhibitory effect on it with inhibitory rate of 99.6%. The inhibitory rate of 12 PE against mycelium growth and 15 PE against appressorium formation of C. lagenarium was higher 50%, respectively. [CONCLUSION] The most PE showed inhibition to C. lagenarium. On the control, only several PE had obviously inhibitory effect on the conidium germination, mycelium growth and appressorium formation at the same time.

  Nematicidal Activities and Mechanisms of Total Alkaloids Extracts from Leaf of Datura metel Linn. The results showed that alkaloids played a determinant role in nematocidal activity. It suppressed the activity of AchE , increased the number of Ach, could attack the nematode neural system.

  Impact of Sublethal Doses of Imidacloprid on Experimental Population of Myzus Persicae Zeng Chunxiang, Wang JinJun, Zeng Zhiping, Cao Gao 2006, 22 (12):  335-335.  Abstract + ( 1485 )   Laboratory experiments were conducted to assess the impact of sublethal doses of imidacloprid for adult aphid of F0 generation, and the impact of sublethal doses of imidacloprid on Myzus persicae was assessed by comparison of life table parameters, population trend index (I) and the interfering indexes of population control (IIPC) through the constructing of the life table of the experimental population for F1 generation. The results showed the impact of sublethal doses of imidacloprid on adult aphid of F0 generation mostly shortened longevity and depressed the total fecundity; The effects of sublethal doses of imidacloprid on F1 generation were depressing rm、R0 and λ, prolonging Td and td as well as reducing I. The values of IIPC were all less than 1. The results suggested that the sublethal doses of imidacloprid have the sustainable control function to M. persicae, and no stimulating of reproduction for M. persicae was existed.

  Identification on the Resistance of Vegetable Soybean Varietie to Soybean Phytophthora Root Rot in the Field Chen Jun, Huang Yueying, Peng Jianli 2006, 22 (12):  339-339.  Abstract + ( 1409 )   The resistance of 14 vegetable soybean varieties was identified in the field plots, results indicated that these varieties had resistance to soybean phytophthora root rot. These vegetable soybean varieties, Wan 3126, Siyuan, AGS292#, Mindou 1221, Tongsu823, 301#, Chadou and 2808, are suited to plant in the epidemic area. The susceptible varieties are Luguang75, Qingsu2 and Moadou75. The humidity was an important factor that affects the disease intensity. The disease was controlled by rotation of crops. .

  The Test of Herbicide Safety on Zhaodong Alfalfa Xue Yong, Wu Yude, Li Chuenfeng, Whu Guangshi 2006, 22 (12):  342-342.  Abstract + ( 1848 )   【OBJECTIVE】 In order to selected the herbicide of varieties and the use which has no phytotoxicity on Zhaodong Alfalfa, we investigated the herbicide resistance of the influence on Zhaodong Alfalfa. 【METHOD】 In this experiment, we observed and recorded the herbicide has effect on seeding conditions and grass conditions in the period of Alfalfa mycobacterium. 【RESULTS】 Several herbicide were cheesed which has no phytotoxicity on Alfalfa, there were 75% KUOYESAN spraying after seeding, 5% JINPUSHITE spraying after 2~4 leaves, 4% JINDOU spraying after 2~4 leaves, 10% LISHOU spraying after 2~4 leaves. The result showed 5%JINDOU has more effective than others. 【CONCLUSION】 The herbicide which has no phytotoxicity on Zhaodong Alfalfa was 5%JINDOU. The recommend method were spraying after seeding and after 2~4 leaves.

  Botanical Pesticides-Studies on Biological Activity of Extraction from the Root of Stellera Chamaejasme Duan Xiao ming 2006, 22 (12):  345-345.  Abstract + ( 1199 )   The effects of poisoning on contact?of extraction from the root of Stellera chamaejasme by ethanol (SCEE) on 5th instar larvae of Acleris ulmicola Meyrick and Schizaphis graminum are determined. The results show that the touch poison effect of SCEE on 5th instar larvae of Acleris ulmicola Meyrick is very significant. With the concentrations?being 20mg/ml, 10mg/ml, 6.67mg/ml, 5mg/ml, 4mg/ml, the corrected death ratios are 100％, 100%, 98.20%, 95.40％, 83.18% respectively. The effect of poisoning on contact of Scee on Schizaphis graminum is relatively weak.?With the concentration?being 20mg/ml，the corrected death ratio is only 22.54%。

  Study of Biologic Mould Inhibitor in Control of Fungal Diseases on Grape Store Wang Min, Yang Deshan, Liu Dan, Xu Guangyu, Luo Jianmei 2006, 22 (12):  348-348.  Abstract + ( 1410 )   The toxicity determination of preparation whose effectual component was natamycin to Conielladiplodiella(Speg.) Petrak&Sydow、BotrytiscinereaPers、Sphacelome ampelinum Bary, were tested using hyphal growth rate and the EC50 were 29.67, 35.79, 32.08μg/ml respectively. The efficacy of controlling diseases were tested by pathogenic infection of the three fungal diseases. The mould inhibitor control efficacy of different time were 80.18%, 55.5%, 65.17% at the dosage of 200μg/ml respectively, and carbendazim control efficacy were 19.82%, 16.5%, 21.72% at the dosage of 1000μg/ml respectively. The conclusion was that the preparation had higher control efficacy than carbendazim, and the difference between preparation and carbendazim was significant.

NO3- nitrogen of Guiyang was richest. It was 23.47 mg/kg. One of Tongren was lowest. It was 17.99 mg/kg. Available phosphor of Qiannan was richest. It was 18.07 mg/kg. One of Qianxinan was lowest. It was 8.29 mg/kg. Available potassium of Zunyi was richest. It was 178.29 mg/kg. One of Qiandongnan was lowest. It was 137.36 mg/kg. Organic matter of Liupanshui was richest. It was 34.64g/kg. One of Tongren was lowest. It was 22.53 g/kg. The value of pH of every district planting flue-cured tobacco was under of 7.Generally compared, soil fertility of Zunyi, Bijie and Qiannan was best and it was good condition could cultivate high quality flue-cured tobacco.

  Study of High Yield Balancing Fertilization in Wheat Inter-cropping Maize Field Lai Lifang, Guo Tianwen, Hu Zhiqiao, Bao Xingguo 2006, 22 (12):  360-360.  Abstract + ( 1266 )   The objective is to study balancing fertilization scenario by determining the appropriate dosage of nitrogen, phosphor and potassium after balancing microelements which are deficient in soil according to soil nutrients status from result of soil nutrients systematic evaluation method that adopted to study soil nutrients. results of the experiment show that balancing application of nitrogen, phosphor, potassium and microelements can improve economic character of wheat and maize seeds and increase thousands grain weight of wheat and maize seeds, seeds number and seeds weight per spike of maize. Nitrogen and phosphor are the main limited factors to increase wheat yield. Nitrogen, phosphor and potassium are the main limited factors to increase maize yield after balancing microelement. The yield and product value and net income of treatments with balancing fertilization increased, of which treated by N2P2K2 is the highest, which are 17085 Yuan/hm2 and 15240 Yuan/hm2 respectively. The high yield balancing fertilization scenario should be N2P2K2 according to the integrated analysis of above result.

  Effects of Fertilizers Application Rates on Growth and Yield of Houttuynia cordata Thunb Lin Ruiyu,,Lin Haosen,Ke Yuqin, Peng Chunhua, Liang Kangjing,Wei Daozhi,, Zhang Zhongyi, Lin Wenxiong,, 2006, 22 (12):  364-364.  Abstract + ( 2101 )   Single factor randomized block design, with the measurement height, branches and fresh weight, was employed to analysis the effects of 5 fertilizers on the growth and yield of Houttuynia cordata Thunb. The result showed that the plant grew slowly at the early stage after transplanted, the application of organic fertilizers was beneficial to the development of plant height and branches at later stage, and manure of duck acted as the best one. It also showed that the application of organic fertilizers increased the yield of Houttuynia cordata Thunb, with a highest yield was detected in application of duck excretion at moderate level, especially for the underground part of the plant, which was higher than the application of chemical and traditional fertilizer. From the result of the test, we suggested that duck excrement was the best one of organic fertilizer for the cultivation of Houttuynia cordata Thunb, and can be mixed with other organic fertilizers, such as manure of human and pig, incooperation with and grow moreover a small amount of quick-acting chemical fertilizer is needed at earlier and later growth stage of the plant. In the application of organic fertilizers, 108000 kg/hm2 of human manure, 54000 kg/hm2of pig manure and 45000 kg/hm2 of duck manure were recommended respectively.

To based the technique system that it finished by diagnosing crop nutrition and commending fertilization under winter wheat and summer maize rotational cultivation and ensure the best fertilization project, it tested the nitrate-N and yield and fertilization quantity of every quarterly crop under different fertilization .The results showed that different fertilization had significant influence on the yield of crop, Optimize fertilization increased 2.73%~6.39% on the yield of crop. No fertilizer reduced the yield significantly for the second and the third seasons, the extent of the reduction of output went to balance on the forth season; Long-term optimize fertilization make the nitrate-N of the soil at the same level in 0~60cm, but custom fertilization had improved the content of he nitrate-N, and subsoil was polluted latently; Long –term no fertilization made the he nitrate-N of the soil keep lower level; Optimize fertilization economized fertilizer 36.84%~52.97%. The optimize fertilization was the best in above three fertilization fashion.

The performance parameters included fermentation temperature, C/N ratio and seed germination index etc. The results indicated that there was no significant difference for accumulated temperature of fermentation in this range of C/N ratio set in this experiment. But there was significant difference between four levels of Cole size and nitrogen kind. For germination index, there was significant difference between four levers of all factors. Taken into account all parameters, waste and cost, the favorable condition of Cole stalk fermentation was 5 centimeters of Cole size, 25 of C/N ratio, 70% of moisture content, chicken manure as added nitrogen.

  The effect of different peat levels on soil physical and chemical traits and tobacco leaf yield and quality Wang Shuhui, Gao Jiahe 2006, 22 (12):  377-377.  Abstract + ( 1496 )   The effect of different peat levels on soil physical and chemical traits and tobacco leaf yield and quality with pot experiment was conducted in 2005. The results showed that with the peat levels increasing from 250 to 2000g/plant, soil bulk density decreased, the decreasing range was 0.78~14.84%;however soil bulk porosity increased and increasing range was1.28~14.01%;soil organic matter and soil nitrogen also increased and increasing range were 21.15~99.36% and 3.80~35.65% respectively. Also with increasing the peat levels, the tobacco grew very fast during the early stage and tobacco leaf yield improved greatly when the peat levels were at 1000~2000 g/plant, but there was little effect when the peat level was less. The results also showed that with the peat levels increasing the leaf quality was improved. There was little effect on soil urease and catalase activity for different peat levels. In general, with peat levels increasing, soil bulk density decrease and soil bulk porosity increased and so as soil organic matter and soil nitrogen, the peat also improved tobacco growth and leaf yield and quality.

The publicly available collection of expressed sequence tags in GeneBank from fruit trees can be used in the analysis of developing simple sequences repeat (SSR) markers. In the present paper, a dichotomous key to 19 cultivars of pear was provided. Totally 19 individuals were selected and analyzed by amplifications using 6 pairs of SSR primers screened. 19 cultivars could be distinguished from each other with this fingerprinting map. The way of expressed sequence tags in GeneBank was a simple and fast technique to SSR markers, which could highly deduce the cost of progress of SSR Primers and the time of reaction system establishment.

  Stem Segment Culture in Vitro of Idesia polycarpa Maxim. The results showed that：(1)as for the one-year-old mother tree acclimated at Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, formerly introduced from Japan, the latter of April was optimal time in explant collection. After 0.1% HgCl2 sterilization for 15s，the explants suitful for the forthcoming culture accounted up to 76.7%；(2)addition of 3.5% sugar and air-permeation improvement to culture containers could effectively controll shoot vitrification；(3)the modified MS media supplemented with TDZ, BA and NAA could ameliorate the culture multiplication and growth,among which the combination of 0.05mg/L TDZ + 1.5 mg/L BA + 0.05 mg/NAAL was optimal, with the multiplication time up to 5.3 and growth height up to 2.7cm；(4) the rooting medium, i.e. 1/2MS+ 0.5 mg/L IBA + 0.3 mg/L NAA + 100 mg/L LH + 2% S was optimised ，with rooting percentage up to 87%；(5) the root-developed plantlets transplanted in the substrate mixed with vermiculite, perlite and peat (volumn ratio of 6:3:1) at 20~30℃, relative humidity of 85%~90% for15~20d, favorably shaded, could get over 85% survival after 30d.

  Optimization of RAPD Reaction System for Construction of the DNA Fingerprinting in Sudangrass Li Jieqin, Wang Lihua, Zhan Qiuwen, Li Yunfei 2006, 22 (12):  397-397.  Abstract + ( 1311 )   To establish and optimize reaction system, the effects of different factors on random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) reaction system in Sudangrass were studied and the fingerprinting of two hybrids to differentiate them were constructed. Genome DNA was isolated. The different concentration of Mg2+(1.0mmol/L, 1.5 mmol/L, 2.0 mmol/L, 2.5 mmol/L, 3.0 mmol/L), annealing temperature (34℃, 35℃, 36℃, 37℃, 38℃) and Tap DNA polymerase activity (0.6U, 0.8U, 1.0U, 1.2U, 1.4U) were designed for PCR amplification. The results were as follow: the optimization of a 20μl PCR system was coupled with the concentration of Mg2+2.0 mmol/L, Taq DNA polymerase activity 0.6U and the annealing temperature 36℃. The DNA fingerprinting of two hybrids was constructed by RAPD marker. Two special bands, A and B, can differentiate Wancao2 and Wancao3 in the fingerprinting.

  RAPD Analysis of the Amorphophallus albus Germplasm Zhang Shenglin, Sun Yuanhang 2006, 22 (12):  401-401.  Abstract + ( 1372 )   Amorphophallus albus native to China is one of the precious wild species in the genus Amorphophallus. The rich genetic variations were also found within the species. Using the RAPD techniques, the phylogenetic relationships among the different bio-types or origin places of the species were analyzed in the present study. The genomic DNAs isolated from 34 accessions of A. albus were amplified by using 40 decamer primers. Eleven primers showed consistent banding patterns and amplifications in all the materials tested and produced 112 bands, of which 93 bonds were polymorphic. Cluster analysis using dps program shows that the 43 materials were divided into 5 groups. A comparison of this result with the leaf-stem morphology, we found that the clusters were highly correlated with the geographic origins of the materials. This result provided molecular information for a better understanding of the genetic relationship of A.albus species.

  Assessment of Genetic Diversity of Maize Detected by RAPD Molecular Markers Jing Jianzhou,, Zhang Yong, Li Dongliang, Xing Liang 2006, 22 (12):  405-405.  Abstract + ( 1248 )   In this study, RAPD molecular markers were used with PCR in DNA of 10 maize individuals, then the results of PCR were analyzed by Popgene32 and SPSS 13.0, to assess genetic diversity among ten maize individuals. The results showed that: (1) 214 RAPD bands were amplified by 20 RAPD random primers with PCR; (2) the percentages of polymorphic loci of the screened primers are 86.4%, the genetic similarity of among ten maize varieties is from 0.316 to 0.654; (3) Jaccard’s genetic similarity matrix and dendrogram for ten kinds of maize were formed. In these dendrogram, ten individuals could be divided into three groups; (4) RAPD molecular markers are suitable for DNA fingerprinting, identification and genetic analysis in maize.

The morphological and microstructure characteristics of stem are compared by using anatomical method. The results are as follows: the dwarf mutant A846 pertain to half-dwarf type, which height is about 38.64 cm on average, preponderating over the half-height of the wild-type, the elongation stage of the mutant represent dwarf character, internode elongation patterns of caulis are similarly the sh-type dwarf mutant, in which the first internode shows specific reduction, the elongation of these cells in the elongation zone immediately above the IM was dissimilar to the wild-type, longitudinal length of parenchyma cells were curtate, also the first internode exhibit markedly, which average is under the corresponding internode of the wild-type, the differentiation of the IM of each internodes of stem was similar to wild-type, as well as the number of internodes and the length of sheath of flag leaf.

By sequence comparison of intergenic transcribed spacer (ITS) region of 16S-23S rDNA, it was revealed that RSD pathogen was highly conversant. Lxx guangdong isolate shares almost 100% nucleotide identity with Brazil, Australia and USA isolates. However, Lxx ITS sequences share only low identity with related close(Leifsonia xyli subsp. Cynodontis,Lxc) and morphologic similar bacteria(Clavibacter michiganensis subsp.michiganensis).

  Primary Report of Fattening Test on Lamb of Hainan Black Goat Fed with Four Kinds of Forage Grasses Yu Xiangchun, Wang Dongjin, Hou Guanyu, Qin Lu 2006, 22 (12):  421-421.  Abstract + ( 1741 )   In the situation of the same throwing quantity in the concentrated feed, 3 months old Hainan black goats were fed with 4 kinds of forage grasses. The result indicated that the allocated proportion structure like Pennisetum×P.americanum cv. Reyan No 4:Paspalum atratum cv. Reyan No 11:Stylosanthes guianensis cv. Reyan No 5: Panicum maximum jacq cv. Reyan No 8=2.35: 1.1: 0.95: 0.6 had good fattening effect and had a remarkable difference with feeding with conventional forage grass of fattening in the goat field. In the situation of feeding with the same forage grass, different throwing quantity of concentrated feed was provided to the lamb of Hainan black goat. The result indicated that, with increase of the concentrated feed’s recruitment, live weight gain per day also increased. But in the aspect of the economic efficiency, feeding the 300g concentrated feed per day had the highest fattening profit. This test result will provide a basis for reasonable, high effective, economical fattening for lamb of Hainan black goat.

  Study of Greenhouse Environment on the Growth of Tropic Plants Qin Jun, Wang Limian, Hu Yonghong, Zhang Mingli 2006, 22 (12):  424-424.  Abstract + ( 1870 )   To research the growth of tropical plant from dramatically different background, , the result was shown through analysis of environmental conditions and physiological index of tropic plants:(1) the temperature and RH of Shanghai Botanic Garden were higher and lower than those of Shanghai Science and Technology museum respectively; (2) the CO2 concentration of Shanghai Botanic Garden was lower than that of Shanghai Science and Technology museum; (3)gs of plant at Shanghai Botanic Garden was higher than that of Shanghai Science and Technology museum, correlation coefficients of gs and Tr were shown 0.994 and 0.973 respectively ,reaching the most notable positive correlation.

  Effects of Ethephon Seed Soaking on Protein and Nucleic Acid in Sugarcane Leaves under Water Stress Wang Weihao,, Ye Yanping, Li Yangrui, 2006, 22 (12):  428-428.  Abstract + ( 1457 )   Three sugarcane C.V. ROC22, GT17 and ROC10 were soaked with ethephon in three concentrations 0mg/L, 100mg/L, 200mg/L for 10 minutes before planting in sand, and water stress was applied at the young shoot stage (four to five leaves). The effects of ethephon seed soaking on protein and nucleic acid in sugarcane leaves under water stress were investigated. The results were as follows: The ethephon seed soaking treatments showed much higher protein content, nucleic acid content and lower activity of protcase under the water stress and after re-watering. The ethephon seed soaking treatments increased much higher the ratio RNA to DNA in leaves of ROC22 and GT17 under water stress, and showed promoting effects on the ratio RNA to DNA in leaves of the three sugarcane varieties. So the tillering was increased.

  Effects of different Stabilizers on the red Pigment of Raphnus sativus cv Rui Chunmei, Li Chengqiong, Si Jun, Song Hongyuan, Ren Xuesong, Li Lijun 2006, 22 (12):  435-435.  Abstract + ( 1421 )   The naturel red radish pigment is a kind of atbocyanio compound and it is not stable. Red radish (Raphnus sativus cv ) was used as material in this study. The auther studied the effects of five kinds of stabilizers on the stability of red radish pigment which was extracted from the fresh red radish roots and the optimal stabilizer and dosage were obtained. The results showed that 0.03% Vitamin-C, 0.03% Glu and 0.03% Citric acid can obviously delay the change of color, and the stability effect of association of Vitamin-C and Citric acid to the pigment is the best; Further studies showed that the best consumption of Vitamin-C and Citric acid is 0.04% and 0.08% respectively.

  Study on Physiological Response of Protein and Sugar of Slash Pine’s Half-sib under Water Stress Tong Fangping,,, Fang Wei, Ma Lvyi, Song Qing’an,, Long Yingzhong, Wu Jiyou, Yi Aiqin,, Cheng Yong 2006, 22 (12):  459-459.  Abstract + ( 1478 )   Test of potted plant and measurement absorbency were used to study physiological response of protein, reducing sugar and solution sugar of slash pine’s half-sib under water stress. There are 7 families comparison with general slash pine (ab. CK). The contents of protein, reducing sugar and solution sugar are mensurated under normal water condition while soil water content is 70% and light water stress while soil water content is 55% to 60% and medium water stress while soil water content is 35% to 40% and heavy water stress while soil water content is 20% to 25%. The test result indicated that either water grads or families of contents of protein, reducing sugar and solution sugar were notable difference. The protein content of slash pine’s families was first up and then down with increasing of water stress. The protein went up on the primary water stress and then down with linear on the medium and anaphase water stress. The reducing sugar and solution sugar were up with linear while increasing of water stress. The families of 1027,101,464 had more contents of solution sugar and ability of resistant drought was more. This is one of physiological cause of 1027,101,464 on fast growing and high yield.

The result shows: the total output and per unit area yield of grain tend to a increasing tendency in fluctuating in Shanxi province since the foundation of People’s Republic of China; Great changes have taken place in grain structure. The increase of the per unit area yield of the maize greatly influence the increase of average per unit area yield of grain among them, the second is wheat.
