Abstract: A few factors, such as Cole size, C/N ratio, moisture content and added nitrogen kind, were investigated to find the effects on the performance of Cole stalk fermentation. The performance parameters included fermentation temperature, C/N ratio and seed germination index etc. The results indicated that there was no significant difference for accumulated temperature of fermentation in this range of C/N ratio set in this experiment. But there was significant difference between four levels of Cole size and nitrogen kind. For germination index, there was significant difference between four levers of all factors. Taken into account all parameters, waste and cost, the favorable condition of Cole stalk fermentation was 5 centimeters of Cole size, 25 of C/N ratio, 70% of moisture content, chicken manure as added nitrogen.
