Abstract: The chemical remain limit standard in food stipulated in Japanese positive list system and Chinese non-environmental pollution vegetable was compared. The result showed: the variety of chemical and it’s remain quantity limited in positive list system were much more strict than them in Chinese non-environmental pollution vegetable standard, so, it is more difficult for Chinese lotus to export to Japan. Compared with the same period of last year, the quantity and foreign trade income of lotus products exported to Japan were decreased 7.7% and 6.6% respectively in 3 months after positive list system implemented. According to Japanese positive list system, chemical remain limit is comparatively simple in Chinese non-environmental pollution vegetable standard, peasants and export companies pay less attention to Japanese positive list system during production, and raw material base construction could not satisfy the need for export, are the main questions in lotus production in our country. Improving standard system of lotus production, helping export company to construct raw material production base, developing new deep processed lotus products, opening up new export markets except Japan, are the effective ways to promote lotus production in China.
