Abstract: A preliminary study was made on the allelopathy of Allium fistulosum L.var.caespitosum Makino on Cucumis sativus L., Raphanus sativus L.and Brassica chinensis L.. The results showed that the root and the aqueous extract from aerial part of Allium fistulosum L.var.caespitosum Makino had some inhibit effects on the germination of seed of Cucumis sativus L.and Raphanus sativus L., while had some stimulat effects on their growth of seedling. And they showed different allelopathy on the germination of seed of Brassica chinensis L.,while had some inhibit effects on its growth of seedling. It was suggested that Allium fistulosum L .var. caespitosum Makino should be intercropped with Cucumis sativus L. and Raphanus sativus L., while should be avoided to intercrop with Brassica chinensis L..
