  The Relationship between Digestible Organic Matter and Purine Derivatives in Urine in Grown Male Cattle of China Holstein Xu Ping, Mo Fang, Jiang Jun, Gao Bo 2007, 23 (2):  1-001.  Abstract + ( 1340 )   As one of the way of estimating microbial protein production, urinary purine derivatives (PD) is easier. And it has good consistency with any other ways, but it also has disadvantage. The PD excretion in urine changes and it is not universal in different breeds. So it is exactly in need of kinds of models about different ruminants. Three China Holstein male cattle were fed with three mixed diets of forage and concentrate. In this experiment, a Latin square design was used to research the rules of purine derivatives excretion through observing the relationship between DOMI and PD excretion. It shows that the allantoin, which only takes little part in calves, was the main part (about73%~88%) in the cattle’s urine, and the xanthine and hypoxanthine which are also take only much little part, can be neglected. The PD changed from 414.09mmol/d to 975.59mmol/d with the enhancement of DOM and DCP intake, and the relativity was significant (R2=0.88, n=9). At the same time, the creatine excretion was steady, and not significant (P＞0.05). The PDC increased with the enhancement of DOM and DCPI, which was consistent to other’s research of cattle and contrary to calves, but the response was lower.

Many researches about the effect of arsenic trioxide on cancer were collected. The mechanisms of arsenic trioxide inducing apoptosis in vitro investigation was summarized and analyzed. It is hoped that this paper could provide further theoretical evidence for clinical therapy.

  Analysis of Genetic Diversity of SPF Leghone Using Microsatellite Markers Kong Deng, Zhu Baoqin, Gao Jinlan, Ba Caifeng, Su Yuhong 2007, 23 (2):  14-014.  Abstract + ( 1463 )   PDF ( 707477KB )   ( 771 ) 【OBJECTIVE】Five microsatellite markers were used to analysis two closed colony of SPF Leghone by calculation of the mean genetic heterozygosity, polymorphism information content in order to provide information for STR database of SPF Leghorn chickens.【METHOD】PCR products of Five microsatellite markers detected with ABI3100-Avant genetic analyzer and analyzed with software DataCollection and GeneMapper 3.1.【RESULTS】The results showed that 20 alleles were detected of 5 microsatellite loci,the average alleles of each loci was 4.The average heterozygosity of the two chicken colony was 0.6211 and the average of the polymorphism information content was 0.6663,which indicated high polymorphic of the 5 microsatellite loci in SPF Leghone.The allele 180bp of adl176 loci was specific to population A and conspicuous difference of the two alleles of 188bp、191bp were detected between two closed colony,which implied ideal primer for line identification.【CONCLUSION】The mojority of microsatellite markers are high polymorphism and we can find specific ones for genetic monitor

  Effect of Dietary Fiber on Nutrient Digestibility, Development of Digestive Tract and Activity of Digestive Enzyme in Growing Pigs Qiao Jianguo, Yang Yufen 2007, 23 (2):  18-018.  Abstract + ( 1366 )   PDF ( 571988KB )   ( 634 ) Sugar beet pulp and alfalfa hay meal were selected as main fiber sources in tested diets to study on the effects of three levels of dietary fiber on nutrient digestibility, development of digestive tract and activity of digestive enzyme in growing pigs. 60 pigs (Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire) were divided into three groups. Three levels of fiber were 3%, 6% and 8%. The results showed: (1) The digestibility of gross energy, dry matter, crude protein and neutral detergent fiber decreased significantly with increasing fiber level (p<0.05); (2) The level of crude fiber was 8%, significant trophic effect on the pancreas and colon were found (p<0.05); (3) The activity of proteolytic enzyme, trypsin, chymotrypsin increased (p<0.05) in the pancreas.

  Study of Slaughter Traits of Pure Dehong Buffalo, Dehong×Ni-li Buffalo and Dehong×Murrah Buffalo on Pasture System Tang Shoukun, Ge Changrong, Cao Zhenhui, Liu Erwei 2007, 23 (2):  31-031.  Abstract + ( 1339 )   PDF ( 496753KB )   ( 509 ) The objective of this study was to determine the slaughter traits of 5 pure Dehong buffalo (D), 5 Dehong×Ni-li buffalo(ND) and 5 Dehong×Murrah buffalo(MD) at an average age of 35.8 months on pasture system. There was significant difference (P < 0.05) on live weight, carcass weight, dressing-out percentage, net meat weight, the percentage of net meat weight in live weight, the percentage of meat production and the bone-meat ratio of D and ND, and ND higher than those of D. This experiment showed that the effect of crossbreeding of Dehong×Ni-li buffalo was more distinctness than Dehong×Murrah buffalo, and the slaughter traits of pure Dehong buffalo has improved through crossbreeding.

Therefore, the Xinjiang beef industry welcomed the unprecedented development opportunity, but Xinjiang's beef industry also had many restriction factors in the development. This article uses the Michael E?Porter "the diamond system model” to carries on the concrete analysis to the Xinjiang beef industry core competitive ability from six aspects——the element of production, the demand condition, the correlation and the support industry, the enterprise strategy structure and the competitor, the government, the opportunity，and obtains the conclusion which the superiority of the Xinjiang development beef industry basically concentrate in the preliminary essential factor, but the important influence factors to the industrial development are in the relative inferiority. From above all, we proposed the way to promotes the Xinjiang beef industry core competitive ability from aspects of breeding improved variety beef cattle, enhance beef cattle production capability, policy support, strengthening socialization service as well as brand strategy.

  Reconstituted Ceftiofur Sodium Drug Sensitivity Test against E.coli Han Keguang, Wang Anru, Gu Shaopeng, Zheng Mingxue 2007, 23 (2):  39-039.  Abstract + ( 1650 )   PDF ( 515338KB )   ( 432 ) Three standard and two isolated strains of E.coli were used for drug sensitivity test on Chloramphenicol, Ciprofloxacin Lactate, Rifampicin, sulfamonomethoxine, Florfenicol, Ceftiofur Sodium as well as the antimicrobial synergists sulbactam sodium and TMP. The bacteriostasis results of the antibiotics against E.coli In vitro were compared when they were used separately or combined with the synergist. The result showed that:(1) E.coli has no resistance against Ceftiofur, and others showed various degrees of resistance; (2) the resistant result was apparent when Ceftiofur was used together with sulbactam or TMP at a ratio of 3:1, so the effect of Ceftiofur could be enhanced by sulbactam or TMP, and sulbactam worked better than TMP.

The activity and speciality of the diagnostic preparation were tested. 【RESULT】The result showed that the speciality of the reverse indirect hemagglutination diagnostic preparation is good. It could only agglutinate the same type positive antibody and could be used to detect Haemophilus parasuis-5 antibody. The activity of the diagnostic preparation is high ,it is 1:512.【CONCLUSION】 simple fast economic way to test Haemophilus parasuis antibody with The indirect hemagglutination diagnostic preparation, It is a valid means to diagnose and prevent Haemophilus parasuis

  Cloning and Preliminary Characterization of the BnZFP Gene from Brassica napus Zhang Lan,, Wang Lei,, Tu Jinxing, Fan Yunliu, 2007, 23 (2):  45-045.  Abstract + ( 1531 )   PDF ( 953480KB )   ( 535 ) To clone a new transcription factor from Brassica napus, and study its function. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR, Transformation, Northern-blotting. BnZFP was isolated from Brassica.napus, which constituted 377 amino acids. BnZFP had the highest similarity with AtZFP at nucleotide and amino acids level. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR showed BnZFP was steadily expressed throughout the different developmental stages between F1 and parental lines. BnZFP was constructed to pBI121 vector and this expression cassette was introduced into wild Arabidopsis thaliana. The transgenic plants were analysed by Northern blotting. Compared with wild Arabidopsis thaliana, over-expression of BnZFP in plants didn’t show any visible changes in seed germination and post-germination growth, further study should be carried out to study the gene’s function.

(DD) with tetraploid wheats (AABB), containing genetic variability not found in hexaploid wheats, have been widely used for genetic improvement of common wheat. Understanding the distribution of Rht8 gene in synthetic hexaploid wheats × common wheat (Triticum aestivum.L) will be crucial for yield improvement. 【METHOD】 A total of 113 lines from BC2F2:6 three CIMMYT lines and four commercial cultivars by synthetic hexaploid wheats × common wheat crosses were used to detect Rht8 genotype by specific-primer PCR amplification and modified PAGE. 【RESULTS】 The frequency of Rht8 genotype is 77.78% in the detected derived-populations from syn768, syn769, syn780 and syn786 lines. But as for every population from syn768, syn769 and syn780 lines, it was concluded that the frequency is not the same. The frequency of Rht8 genotype of the population from syn768 is 96.70% as the highest one, and the one from syn769 with 71.64% is the lowest, and for the population from syn780, its frequency of Rht8 genotype is 73.68% with a close ratio of 3:1 and the cultivar Chuanmai 47 from syn786 is absent from the gene Rht8. 【CONCLUSION】.The inheritance of the dwarfing gene Rht8 is randomly separated, and the study on Rht8 genotype of progeny from crosses of synthetic hexaploid wheat and common wheat can provide useful information for improving common wheat and introducing cultivars from CIMMYT, and facilitating the analysis of Rht8 genotype polymorphism.

Histone H3K9 methylation is involved in heterochromatin formation,gene silencing; H3K4 methylation contributes to transcriptional activation and K36 methylation is linked to RNAPⅡ.The first report shows histone methylation is reversible and discovered lysine-specific histone demethylases:LSD1 and Jmjc-domain-containing histone demethylases. They can demethylate different levels of histone H3K4, H3K9and H3K36 methylation, are associated with gene transcription.

  The Construction and Analysis of cDNA Library from the Leaf of Coleus blumei Benth. The titer of the primary library was 1.2×106 pfu/ml, in which 98% clones were recombinant and the inserted cDNA fragments ranged from 0.5 kb to 2 kb, 60% of them more than 1kb. The amplified library has a titer of 6.7×109 pfu/ml. The positive signals of CHS, DFR and ANS gene were detected by PCR in the amplified library. The data indicate that the cDNA Library has high quality, and provides a useful tool for cloning leaf color genes and further study on the molecular mechanisms of the pigments biosynthesis of the flavonoids in C.blumei.

If changing the concentration of macroelements' combination can get more and stronger test-tube potatoes, this is beneficial to produce. Selecting the strain of potato 97-1-1 as the original material, MS＋5mg/L B9＋8％sugar＋0.4 mg/L IBA as the basic growth medium, through the way of changing multiple of numerous element concentration, the integral multiple of N, P and K concentration, separate multiple of N, P and K(orthogonal design) concentration in the inducing medium, we could get an optimum combination of numerous element. The result shows, when doubling N, P, K integrally and keeping other concentration of numerous elements unchanged, we can get the optimum combination of economic benefit. Without P and keeping other concentration unchanged, we can get the optimum combination of quantity of test-tube potato. Doubling P, K without N and keeping other concentration unchanged, we can get the optimum combination of diameter of test-tube potato.

AFLP fingerprinting analysis on 18 rare varieties of Cymbidium goeringii(Rchb.f)Rchb.f was carried out .16 primer-pairs were screened out and amplified 345 nucleotide acid fragments in the 18 rare varieties of Cymbidium goeringii(Rchb.f)Rchb.f, which the polymorphism rate was about 48.99 %, the average bands amplified by each primer-pair were 21.6. The different combination of polymorphic bands can distinguish the 18 rare Cymbidium varieties, and can be used to identify 18 rare varieties of Cymbidium goeringii(Rchb.f)Rchb.f.

  Study on the Regeneration System from Leaves of Summer Royal Grape in vitro 2007, 23 (2):  74-074.  Abstract + ( 2041 )   PDF ( 544606KB )   ( 572 ) The regeneration rate of adventitious buds from leaves plays an important role on the efficiency of gene transformation. In order to set up the stable and high efficient system of adventitious bud regeneration from leaves in vitro in grape, the basic medium component, the types and concentration of plant growth regulators, and the sources of carbon were studied on the regeneration by using the top three young leaves of seedless grape of Summer royal. The results showed that the adventitious buds could be induced by using the media of WPM, 1/2MS, B5, and NN69 with no significant difference. The applying of 10~20 g/L Glucose or commercial granulated sugar as the carbon source was adopted. The supply of 3.0 mg/L 6-BA and 0.05 mg/L IAA benefited the adventitious bud induction and the plantlet growth. The supply of TDZ was not recommended due to the more disorder buds induced and poor plantlet growth, even though it could obtain plenty adventitious buds.

But solubility sugar attained maximum in 60 day and minimum in 120 day. The activity of IAA oxidase was higher in 60, 120 day and lower in 90 day.

  cDNA-AFLP Difference-expression Analysis between Inflorescences and Leaves of Chestnut Liu Tao, Xu Pingzhen, Hu Yunqian, Zhou Zhekun 2007, 23 (2):  81-081.  Abstract + ( 1549 )   PDF ( 586404KB )   ( 554 ) In order to provide more references for chestnut molecular breeding, authors used the method of cDNA-AFLP to analyze gene expression profiles between inflorescences and leaves of chestnut. The results showed that: sixty-four combination of AFLP primers produced 2,131 fragments; twenty-eight genes showed significant homolog to known genes according to the sequencing of one hundred and ten genes, including transport facilitation, metabolism and energy-related proteins, which indicate the importance of them.

The main contents focus on the following aspects, such as choice of basic mediums, combination and density of hormone and addictions. The Orthogonal Design is adopted to arrange experiment. Through above research, it was tried to find the main factors and improve the propagation coefficient and build up the superior regeneration system in Oncidium in the paper. The result showed that the main factors of multiplication of bud clumps are the basic medium, BA and NAA. The best multiplication medium is MS + BA 3.0 or 4.0 mg/L + NAA 0.4 or 0.6 mg /L + coconut milk 150.0 ml/L or tomato juice 150.0 ml /L + active carbon 1.0 g /L + Vc 0.2 mg /L + active carbon 1.0g /L + sugar 30.0 g /L + agar 8.0g /L.

The reactions were performed in a volume of 25 μl containing 2.0 mmol/L Mg2+, 160 μmol/L dNTPs, 1.5 U Taq DNApolymerase, 0.3 μmol/L primer.

  Determination of Fluoroquinolone Residues in Fish Muscle by Capillary Electrophoresis Rao Qinxiong, Liu Huihui, Liu Xiangming, Shen Jianzhong，, Jiang Haiyang，, Ding Shuangyang， 2007, 23 (2):  93-093.  Abstract + ( 1280 )   PDF ( 486723KB )   ( 591 ) A method for the determination of veterinary antimicrobial agent enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sarafloxacin and difloxacin in fish muscle, using enoxacin as internal standard, has been developed. The influence of different separation conditions, such as the buffer, pH of the electrolyte and the organic added to the electrolyte was studied. The most suitable buffer is Na2HPO4-citrate at pH 5.0 containing 10%(v/v) acetonitrile. Clean-up and pre-concentration of the samples were effected by C18 solid-phase extraction and determination was carried out by capillary electrophoresis using a photodiode array detector (275nm). The calibration graphs are linear for the four fluoroquinolones from 25 to 400 μg/kg. The method recoveries for enrofloxacin、ciprofloxacin、sarafloxacin and difloxacin are 75.2%、79.7%、80.1%、79.2%. The limit of detection for Enrofloxacin is lower than 25 μg/kg, and the other are 25 μg/kg. The Rsds for intraday and interday are not more than 13.5% and 12.3%, respectively. It is a fast and simple method that allows the detection of positive muscle samples.

  Studies on Analysis of Flavor Constituents of Different Maturity Tobacco Leaves Xuan Xiaoquan, Bo Yunchuan, Xu Ruyan, Zhang Junsong 2007, 23 (2):  98-098.  Abstract + ( 1749 )   PDF ( 1157954KB )   ( 538 ) In order to investigate the effects of different maturity on aroma components in tobacco leaf, the relationship between maturity and aroma components quality was studied. The main flavor compounds in different maturity tobacco were isolated by simultaneous distillation and extraction (SDE), and then were quantitatively analyzed by capillary gas chromatography. The experimental results showed that: (1) the total content of major flavor compounds, ketones and alcohols in tobacco increased with tobacco maturity. (2) the content of 2-furanmethanol, 5-methylfurfural, 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one, benzyl alcohol, linalool, β-phenylethyl alcohol, isophorone, solanone, damascone, dihydroactinidiolide, farnes ylacetone increased with the leaf maturity and reached to highest levels at over-matured stage. (3) the content of furfural, acetophenone, damascenone, megastigmatrienone, geranylacetone reached to maximum at full mature stage, and then decreased slowly.

We found out the curing technology of loose tobacco curing barn when adopting nature loading method, the loading density were 75-85kg/m3, and the thermometer were hanged at the bottom layer. This technology was on the base of its own characteristic, it also integrated the technology of the three stage curing technique, and it had the virtue of simplicity of operation, earthliness and understandability, better curing effects, and preferably spreading foreground.

The results indicated that Hunan province is one of the chief area of producing flue-cured tobacco in China; the most part of smoking qualities of flue-cured tobacco in grade of B2F,C3F and X2F are the first type of smoking quality. There is not significant difference in smoking qualities of flue-cured tobacco among breeds; there is significant difference in smoking qualities of flue-cured tobacco among stalk positions and among years and among the specify producing flue-cured tobacco districts; The characteristics of smoking qualities of flue-cured tobacco are obvious in intensive area.

The result shows that the cumulative contribution made by the former 3 factors for appearance quality is above 96.202%. Maturity factor (slickness or light green, organ structure and maturity), color factor(luster, color harmony degree) and body are main factors affecting appearance quality, while there is a positive correlation among three factors.

Pollens extracted from eight kinds of honeys were decomposed in vinegar-anhydride and observed under light microscope, morphology characters described, pollen sizes measured and the claimed pollen percentage calculated. Impurity pollens were observed in a given honey besides the main one, which proportions were varied in every honey, and the main pollens from each honey had its own identified character. The morphology characters and the proportion of the main pollens could be an index to estimate the quality of honey productions, but it is difficult to trace the original producing area as to some honeys.

The sediment of juice was complicated and consisted mainly of proteins, carbohydrate, phenolic compounds (epicatechin, chlorogenic acid, tannin), 5-hydroxymethyl-furaldehyde (5-HMF). The sediment mainly formed by the assembling of original particles at the beginning of storage in juice. The cloud stability of cloudy apple juice would be more improved by adding 0.05% (w/v) CMC to juice. The cloud stability of juice containing CMC was improved by increased viscosity of juice and increased Zeta potential of particles in juice, and for juice containing guar gum, it was improved by increasing viscosity of juice.

A fertilization effect equation of the relationship between the yield of cabbage and the usage of four fertilizers was established by mathematic modeling, it was: y=97.808-4.337x1+3.445x2-2.690x3+8.299x4-6.894x1x2+17.331x1x3-7.389x1x4-3.191x2x3+6.364x2x4+0.063x3x4-9.629x12-17.150x22-17.915x32-24.066x42 .The regression relationship was tested significant and all the regressive coefficients were also tested. The regressive equation showed: MgSO4?7H2O mainly effected the yield directly, the less was Ca(NO3)2?4H2O, KNO3, NH4H2PO4 by sequent. Ca(NO3)2?4H2O has interactive effect with the other three fertilizers, in which the interactive effect with NH4H2PO4was very significant. The concentration of the selected nutrient solution composition by regressive relationship was: Ca(NO3)2?4H2O: 971mg/L, KNO3: 931mg/L, NH4H2PO4: 204mg/L, MgSO4?7H2O: 581mg/L. The fertilization effect studied by the optimal design with hydroponics was precise and effective.

The protective enzymes, activities of superoxiede dismutase(SOD), catalse (CAT), peroxidase(POD), the content of MDA and the cell membrane systems of mulberry were studied under different water conditions. The results showed that activity of SOD, POD and CAT in different treatment showed the same tendency of increasing firstly and then decreaseing, which demonstrated activity of cell protective enzymes was increased under drought stress, but with the heavier stress and exceed the endurance degree was then decreased. at the same time, the cell membrane systems of mulberry were damaged and osmotic capability boosted, relative electric conductivity and MDA content increased.

There were four treatments involved in the trial: a long photoperiod (16h light: 8h dark cycle) with a high temperature (15℃)(LDHT), a long photoperiod (16h light: 8h dark cycle) with a low temperature (3℃)(LDLT), a short photoperiod (8h light: 16h dark cycle) with a high temperature (15℃)(SDHT), and a short photoperiod (8h light: 16h dark cycle) with a low temperature (3℃)(SDLT). Experiment duration was three months. Five tests were conducted at intervals of 2 or 3 weeks. Frost hardiness of needles was measured by the methods of electrolyte leakage (EL), visual scoring of damage (VSD) and chlorophyll fluorescence (CF) respectively every time. Results showed a stationary level of frost hardiness was reached in needles in a given temperature and photoperiod. Rate of frost hardening of needles differed among treatments, but the results did not support the additive concept. Frost hardiness of needles measured by these three methods was different. However, they had high correlations.

The results were as followed. The ratio of the area and volume of protective forest were 47.13% and 89.41% respectively, while those of the plantation were 0.40% and 0.29%. The area of mixed forest overweight that of pure stands significantly and forest structure was too simple. Also the ratio of the area of middle-young stands was 88.2% and so too much work of forest tending was needed. According to the area of the origin of forests, the original and secondary forests were greatest, followed by plantation forests and aerial forests. As a result, according to the theory such as the sustainable forestry development and the classified forest management, the measures and suggestions were put forward in this paper.

Testcrossing, backcrossing, selfing, crossing, quality-selecting, fertility-identifying, resistance-selecting and Strain-yield-comparing were the main methods. Chuanyou No.58, a double-low and high-yield NEA-CMS rapeseed hybrid ( Brassica napus L.), was developed from JA1 ( double-low NEA-CMS system ) × JR2 ( a double-low restorer ). JA1, whose sterile pollens per flower, sterile flowers per plant and sterile plants per group were all 100%, was differ from Pol.CMS, the main type of male sterile cytoplasm for rapeseed hybrid, due to the stable and thorough and never influenced by environment factors male sterility. Crossing fruitfulness of JA1 was very high. JR2, a NEA-restorer, was strong-restoring, pollen-plenty and easy-pollinating. F1-seed production technology of Chuanyou No.58 was uncomplicated. Chuanyou No.58 showed great hybrid superiority. The cultivar possessed the characteristics of desired agronomic quality, double-low, high yield, high oil content, early maturity, wide adaptability and acceptable resistance (tolerance ) to virus and S. sclerotiorum. It was released by Sichuan Crop Variety Approval Committee in October, 2005. The high-uniformity of hybrid-seed and the coordination of high-yield and double-low and disease-resistance were succeeded, due to the double-low three-line system of NEA and its restorers.

Five Ca potentiators increased Fe, Mg and Zn contents obviously, but decreased Mn and Cu contents. Different Ca potentiator has different effect on mineral elements contents in rice. Multiple regression analysis shows that Ca content is close to Fe and Mn contents positive correlation. In the meanwhile, Ca content has conspicuously positive correlation with AC, but has onspicuously negative correlation with CPV, SBV, CVS and PAT. Microelements and some quality characters are closely correlation.

The results show that average annual capture rate is 6.90%±2.57%; there are two peaks in population development, first peak appears in May-June and second in October-November each year, the highest is in June; there are significant differences of stocks in different year，different months, and different seasons. The Apodemus agrarius population quantity graduation standard has been formulated. March stocks (X1) of established applications base, April stocks quantity × April reproductive index (X2) June stocks forecast peak volume density (Y) of two short-term forecast models are Y=1.3669X1+5.6175. Y=0.4988X2+7.2940, May forecast the number of degree and occurred degree two months or three months in advance, and after the reverse running and confirmation, the value and magnitude prediction data accord to the actual data, the value prediction average tallying rate is 86.61% and 86.11%, the magnitude prediction average tallying rate is 78.95%. The result is almost accurate, and therefore these prediction models have usability and the feasibility.

It showed crude fiber contents in all organs increased from the scattering stage to the milk stage. Crude fiber content was higher in stems and it had no much difference in leaves and spikes. With the increase of N, P and density, the crude fiber accumulation were dropped in leaves, stems and spikes, and the accumulation in spikes was lower in middle treatment of density and N and P amounts. From nutrient angel, the best harvest period is end milk stage, and the suitable density is 5200~5700 plant/hm2, the suitable N and P amounts were 270~350 kg/hm2 and 100~140 kg/hm2 in Hohhot.

Among 216 DDRT-PCR reactions, there are 35 differentially expressed fragments which can be regenerated, and they are all cloned into pGEM-T Easy Vector. It was found that one of the fragments was similar to the Peroxidase gene located on the rice chromosome 1 completely, another fragment was partially similar to the protein Phosphorylase gene located on the rice chromosome 12 with 99.99% homology. They are all single copy fragments.

The soluble solid content(SSC), firmness, single fruit weight, and yield of melon, and resistance to fruit and leaf disease of melon were investigated. The results indicated that all three treatments can increase SSC, single fruit weight, yield of melon fruit. Index of fruit shape was decreased by BTH treatment, increased by KDF treatment at harvest. Fruit colour and cracking was improved due to treatments during development of melon. Indexes of fruit disease treated with Amistar, BTH and KDF were declined at 14.9% and 12.4% respectively. Index of bacterial spot of leaf treated BTH compared with CK was reduced at 0.95. Quality and yield of melon was not affected by BTH treatment. Disease of fruit and leaf of powdery mildew and bacterial spot were suppressed by BTH treatment during development stages of melon.

  Physiological Responses to Drought Stress in Seedlings of Rice Cultivar Dongjin Zhang Jingyuan, Fan Yunliu, Zhao Jun 2007, 23 (2):  231-231.  Abstract + ( 1708 )   PDF ( 669656KB )   ( 565 ) In order to find out the physiological responses of rice plants to drought stress, several aspects, including plant water status, oxidative stress, osmoprotectant metabolism and integrity of cell membrane, were analyzed of the seedlings of cultivar Dongjin (Oryza sativa L. subsp. japonica) under drought conditions. The results showed that both the net photosynthesis rate and the relative water content decreased significantly within 5 days of drought treatment and declined rapidly thereafter. The rapid increase of the content of malondialdehyde and the electrolyte leakage rate happened after 5-day drought treatment and both responses had a similar trend. The proline content increased dramatically after treatment for 6 days. The level of reactive oxygen species first dropped slightly at day 6 of treatment, then increased gradually, and elevataed to a significant level at 8th day. The net photosynthesis rate and the relative water content are among the quick responses to drought stress, and combined with the electrolyte leakage rate and the contents of ROS, malondialdehyde and praline. These physiological responses can be used in comprehensive evaluation of rice seedlings for drought tolerance.

  The Microstructure and Gas Exchange Characteristics of Functional Leaves of Wheat Cold Source. The microstructure of functional leaves of cold source, cold type wheat Xiaoyan6 and warm type wheat 9430 were observed by paraffin slice method, and chlorophyll content, net photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate, stomata conductance of functional leaves were measured during wheat grain filling. The results showed that the flag leaf thickness of cold source was higher by 19.3% and 9.0% than that of cold type wheat and warm type wheat, respectively; the top 2nd leaf was higher by 19.7% and 5.7%, respectively; the top 3rd was higher by 37.2% and 2.7%, respectively. The vein transverse area of flag leaf of cold source was higher by 25.2% and 37.7% than that of cold type wheat and warm type wheat, respectively; the top 2nd leaf was higher by 5.9% and 12.6%, respectively; the top 3rd was higher by13.1% and 33.3%, respectively. The vein interval of flag leaf, the top 2nd leaf and the top 3rd leaf of cold source was higher by 17.7%, 2.0% and 9.2% than that of the same position functional leaf of cold type wheat, respectively, and lower by 3.7%、6.8% and 8.3% than that of the same position functional leaf of warm type wheat, respectively. Chlorophyll content, net photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate and stomata conductance of cold source, cold type wheat and warm type wheat were all downtrend during grain filling, but which of cold source and cold type wheat were higher than that of warm type wheat at grain-filling prophase, metaphase and anaphase.

The study showed that the dry-raising seedlings of super high-yield cultivation had more dry matter accumulation and tillers，but lower height of plant than the wet-raising seedlings. It also indicated that in comparison with the wet-raising seedlings, the dry-raising seedlings had more developed root systems with the stronger abilities of deoxidization, and exhibited the higher activities of nitrate reductase(NR), ATPase, and cell protective enzymes such as catalase(CAT), peroxidase(POD), superoxide dismutase(SOD) and higher content of chlorophyll, but lower content of malondialdehyde(MDA), performing the stronger ability resistant to environmental stress, being advantageous to the formation of dry-raising seedlings.

The studies selected two-year fresh and excellent Dioscorea zingiberensis number 41,using its sterile tress which bourgeoned from bud, which inducing culture medium were MS+BA 1.5 mg/L+NAA 0.5 mg/L, Ls+ BA 1.5 mg/L and 1/2MS+ NAA 1.0 mg/L respectively. And the changes of endogenous phytohormones content during its culture were analyzed. The results showed forming of embryonal cell is benefiting from high IAA, Z and GA3. The paper can provide theoretic reference evidence for adjustment of calli and somatic embryogenesis forming in Dioscorea zingiberensis, and offer reference for tissue culture of other plant.

The results showed that the soluble solid, protein, amino acid, vitamin C contents appeared to increase at the beginning and decline later on, and the lycopene content appeared to decrease initially and then rise. The nutrient contents of the fruits on the main stem and the fruits on the first pair of the shoots were compared, which indicated the nutrient contents of the fruits on the main stem were higher that those on the first pair of shoots.

The results showed that the root and the aqueous extract from aerial part of Allium fistulosum L.var.caespitosum Makino had some inhibit effects on the germination of seed of Cucumis sativus L.and Raphanus sativus L., while had some stimulat effects on their growth of seedling.And they showed different allelopathy on the germination of seed of Brassica chinensis L.，while had some inhibit effects on its growth of seedling. It was suggested that Allium fistulosum L .var. caespitosum Makino should be intercropped with Cucumis sativus L. and Raphanus sativus L., while should be avoided to intercrop with Brassica chinensis L..

The physiological studies on the ear development of maize showed: In the four period of ear growth the husk nitrate reductive activity of No.139 was very lower than that of No.1. the husk glutamine synthetase activity was lower than that of No.1, and the change of glutamine synthetase activity of No.1 was flat. The ear nitrate reductive activity of No.139 moved acutely, and after 15days pollination that of No.139 reached maximum that was higher obviously that of No.1 at the same period. The ear glutamine synthetase activity of No.139 always higher than that of No.1 in the the three period. In the last period ,the ear glutamine synthetase activity of two inbred lines were almost equal.

The results showed that peroxidase diversity was related to F1 Yield in 6 different hybrids. It showed that the yield heterosis had correlation with the numbers of parents. F1 Yield performance was calculated based on peroxidase diversity in order to analyze relationship. The heterozygosity of peroxidase can be used as an index in predicting the yield heterosis of maize.

That the potassium was not enough in soil will not be solved well in the near future. Different tobacco varieties had different potassium utilization ability, which may be one of ways to solve the problem. Looking for economic characteristic related with potassium utilization, using these economic characteristic to select high potassium utilization materials can shorten the selection process. The correlation analysis of some economic characteristic of 19 materials and potassium content was studied. Results showed that potassium content and plant height, stem girth, step, leaf number and the biggest leaf length was positive correlation. The correlation between plant height, stem girth and the potassium content had reached significant level. The correlation between the biggest leaf length and potassium content had reached marked level. Nicotine content was also studied. Results showed that nicotine content of upper leaves and middle leaves increased with leaf age. When leaf age was 75 days, the nicotine content reached the biggest. After 75 days, the nicotine content decreased with leaf age. Potassium content of tobacco was always decreasing with leaf age. For bottom leaves, the nicotine content reached the biggest when leaf age was 60 days. After that, the nicotine content decreased with leaf age. The potassium content of the tobacco was always decreasing with leaf age. The correlation between potassium and nicotine content of leaves were negative. It suggested that nicotine content decreased with potassium content increased in the whole life of tobacco. Increasing potassium content can improve the tobacco quality.

  Study on Three propagation Materials of A. albus in field and Comparison on Physiological Indexes Li chuan,;Zhang shenglin;Cui ming 2007, 23 (2):  282.  Abstract + ( 1246 )   PDF ( 327134KB )   ( 446 ) This experiment studies on three propagation materials of A. albus in field and comparison on physiological indexes and analyses the possibility of using the seeds as reproduction material in fields.The results show that some characters of seed, such as the ratio of breadth and height, petiole diameter, and average tuber weight, are not as good as tuber and rhizome, but swell coefficient, the most important economic index, of seed is the highest among three materials, being 24.52 times, greater than those of rhizome (5.68 times) and tuber (2.84 times). This suggests that seed has high productivity, and can be used as propagative material. From the comparisons on some physiological indexes of three materials after their leaves unfold completely, such conclusions are drawn. The soluble sugar content of seed seedling leaves is the highest, 27.637mg/g. Root activity of seed is 1.45 mg/g?h（FW）, evidently higher than those of tuber and rhizome, showing that activity of seed roots are higher than those of tuber and rhizome. Chlorophyll content of seed is lower than that of tuber, but higher than that of rhizome. Soluble protein content of seed is lowest, only 8.55 %. The results indicate that the seeds are higher plant viability, its expansion has played an important role in the swell coefficient increase.

Leaf area of upper leaf were increased, if employed decomposed hog manure during proceeding crop, but rates of first and secondary class and equal price were decreased. And rates of first and secondary class and equal price were increased when employed stalks left, no better production value. Straw left employed during proceeding crop can lead to higher nitrate nitrogen content during flue-cured tobacco. The production value of tobacco leaf when oil marc was employed in proceeding crop was better than that employed in flue-cured tobacco season. Chemical fertilizer and decomposed hog manure were mixed to employ in flue-cured tobacco season, which could enhance the production value of tobacco leaf.

The results showed that there was a remarkable response of garlic yield to potassium application, the increase of garlic bolt and clove yield was 28.7%~39.7% and 19.5%~28.2% with the average of 36.4% and 24.1% respectively compared with the control. The yield increase of K fertilizer was quite high at two rates of nitrogen application, and it was closely relative to the content of available K in soil and potassium application rate. The yield increase of N fertilizer was affected by the content of soil available N as well as potassium application and the content of available K in soil. The liner regression equations were developed with the method of stepwise regression analysis between the variables of the yield increase per K or N fertilizer of garlic bolt or clove (y) with that of the content of available K (x1) or N (x2) in soils and potassium or nitrogen application (x3) and (x4) respectively.

The results showed as the application rate of it increased, others increased too. such as: the seedling height 10.41%, diameter of root base 28.89%, leaf area per plant 22.29%, No.first branches add from 4.5 to 6.8, No. second branches add from 2.4 to 3.3, siliquae per plant 118.57%, seeds for siliquae 18.29%, while the weight of 1000-seed decreased with the increase of application rate, but the weight was striking high than CK in 15kg/hm2. the yield in a limited range improved, the growth period extended 6 days. It made rapeseed growing in autumn and strong in winter, also having great effect on the yield after applying phosphor seed manure to the rape of no tillage direct seeding. The best application rate of phosphor seed manure should be 30 kg / hm2, the rapeseed yield increased by 51.78%.

Composting tests with chicken manure and corn stem as raw composting materials were conducted under inner room condition. Organic nitrogen forms were determined at different composting stages. The results indicated that the change of TN reduced at the primary period, then increased during the composting of chicken manure and reduced 30.4% at the end of composting, and increased all the time in the treatment corn stem and chicken added with corn stem, increased 4 and 2.4 times respectively; THN/TN was the same as the change of TN in the treatment chicken manure and increased 7.9% at last, reduced in the treatment corn stem and chicken added with corn stem and declined 40.56% and 23.15% respectively; AN/THN increased at first then decreased in the treatment chicken manure and decreased 13.49%, and increased gradually in the treatment corn stem and chicken added with corn stem, and increased 9.7 and 2.1times; AAN/THN reached the lowest content in the treatment chicken manure, corn stem and chicken added with corn stem in the 21st and increased 1.5,5.1 and 4 times; ASN/THN decreased 32.5% in the treatment chicken manure, increased 5.4% and 2.9% respectively in the treatment corn stem and chicken added with corn stem; HUN/THN reached the highest content in the three treatment in the 21st and increased 30.9% in the treatment chicken manure, decreased 46.2% and 23.9% in the treatment corn stem and chicken added with corn stem. In this paper, the influence of the temperature and the moisture in continuous 5d after pollen matured, and the weight of seed-corm with bud on the sexual reproduction of Amorphophallus konjac K. Coch was investigated with 117 individual plants. The results indicated that the means of temperature and moisture for the plants with berries developed being of 24℃ and 64%, respectively, were significantly higher than which of no-berries plants, additionally, the weight of the seed-corm or tuber of plants with berries developed was significantly higher, and it was positive correlative to the berries of single plant with the coefficient of r=0.6096 (the No. of samples =29). It suggested that higher temperature and moisture were helpful to the pollen scattering and germinating, and that the nutrients supplied at the periods of konjac sexual reproduction was derived from the seed-corm.

The result showed that the methods of plant tissue culture were used for effects 5 levels of time of treatment of GA3,4 hormone(NAA, 2,4-D, BA, KT) of 5 levels concentration, 2 cultural ground substances,5 levels of GA3 concentration applying on spores germination; the effects 6 levels NaH2PO4 and 5 levels AC on planting rate were studied. The results showed that the 20mg/LGA3 most suitable treatment time was 5 min, the most suitable hormone was KT, BA and NAA take second place, the most suitable medium was 1/2MS on spores germination; The most suitable concentration of NaH2PO4 was 200~300mg/L, the most suitable AC was 2% in cultural ground substances on planting rate.

The successful invasion of this weed might be due to its strong ability of adaptation to the environment. This study was carried out in laboratory and field by using the method of experimental ecology, the effects of storage conditions, superstratum of the ground, pH and temperatures on the seed germination were observed systematically. It was found that the suitable environment conditions are required for seed germination of E. adenophorum. The seed germination could be deeply affected by superstratum of the ground, 5 mm superstratum could reduce the germination rate significantly and few seed could germinate when the ground was covered with 20mm of defoliation and deadwood. Seed germination rate could still amount to over 60% when seed is stored for one year under room temperature, but low temperature (5℃) and sand storage (5℃) can effectively lengthen longevity of the seed. The seed could adapt a wide range of pH and temperatures for germination, and the seed could germinate in the environment with pH ranging from 3.5 to 9.5 and temperatures ranging from 10℃ to 50℃. The results of this study had important reference values for explaining the invasion mechanism and discussing the defense mechanisms of ecosystems against the invasion of E. adenophorum.

Although glyphosate- resistant (GR) cotton can be developed in several ways, the most popular GR cotton that has been utilized in agricultural production is transgenic cotton containing CP4-EPSPS gene from Agrobacterium spp under the cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV)-35s promoter. GR cotton exhibits an excellent vegetative resistance to glyphosate throughout the growing season. However, exposing GR cotton to glyphosate after the 4th-leaf stage can decrease boll setting due to reduced self pollination, suggesting occurrence of temporal and special changes in glyphosate-resistance. The sensitivity of the male reproductive organs to glyphosate is explained by reduced expression of CP4-EPSPs genes, and increased accumulation of glyphosate in these reproductive organs relative to vegetative organs. Enhancement of strong expression in the whole plant is an efficient way to improve reproductive resistance of GR cotton to glyphosate.

The results indicated that acetone extract was the most effective to T. cinnabarinus in different solvent extracts of the root, stem and foliage of A. annua L. However the foliage acetone extract was the most effective against T. cinnabarinus, of which the corrected mortality was 98.95% within 48h(5mg/ml). In the 13 main separated groups, the eleventh and twelfth had the best activities. The corrected mortality against T. cinnabarinus was 99.30% and 99.29% respectively within 48h at the concentration of 5mg/ml. The toxicity regression linear analysis of these two groups against T. cinnabarinus were 0.3683 and 0.1586 mg/ml, respectively.

The proportion of infected Yedan13 and Zhongyu No.4 plants were all 100 percent by sap-inoculation on the 2 to 3 leaf stage, and that of Zhongyu No.4 decreased markedly as the leaf stage of inoculated plant advanced. The diseased rate on Yedan13 increased with the number of vectors per plant, as the number of aphid per plant added from 5 to 30, transmission rate was up from 5% to 100%. Meanwhile the diseased rate on Zhongyu No.4 was zero. The aphid productivity on Yedan13 and Zhongyu No.4 was approximately same on the nature or manual tests. These results indicated that Zhongyu No.4 was highly susceptible to SCMV-MDB the pathogenesis of maize dwarf mosaic disease in its 3-leaf stage and some maturity resistance to SCMV-MDB after 6 leaves ages. Its resistance to maize dwarf mosaic disease was not due to the resistance to SCMV-MDB but to the process of aphid-transmission.

Because of its role in a single site and easy mutant bacteria resistant, it is necessary to select a new fungicide metalaxyl alternative Phytophthora root rot. Using flumorph, the bioactivity of 3 fungicides against different stages of Phytophthora sojae Ps411 was compared in vitro. The results showed that flumorph had significant inhibitory effect on the 4 different growth stages of the strain, with 50% effective concentration (EC50) values was 0.1906μg/mL. Their 95% effective concentration (EC95) value was 0.4735 μg/mL. Flumorph at the concentration of 0.5 μg/mL, can lead the inhibit rate of growth of mycelium, formulation of sporangium and germination of zoospore of Phytophthora sojae to 100%, the concentration was lower than Apron XL, Metalaxy which lead to the same inhibition rate. It indicated that Flumorph can obviously inhibit the growth of P.sojae in vitro, and effect is better than that of Apron XL and Metalaxy.

According to the experiment, the gaining of higher classification accuracy just needs a few of demarcated study samples if based-on supervised-unsupervised learning is used. And especially, better earth estimation result than the Byes method, BP Network, PNN method and so on, can be gotten when a few of samples are used. In land evaluation, supervised and unsupervised learning method can be combined to implement a tradeoff between classification accuracy and expense.

Seed germination, growth, yield formation and some parameters relative to drought resistance were investigated and measured in soybean plants treated with and without DRSC. The results showed that both the 2 kinds of DRSC effectively promoted drought resistance and yield in soybean. For soybean plants treated with DRSC 1, seed germination increased by 4.8%, plant height, 4cm, root nodule numbers, 13, yield, 7.3%, and net photosynthetic rate was significantly higher than cK. While for those treated with DRSC 2, seed germination increased by 5.2%, plant height, 5.6cm, root nodule numbers, 65, yield, 6.3%, transpiration rate and water loss rate of leaves decreased, root volume and root/shoot ratio all increased. The study demonstrated that DRSC 2 is more effective in improving drought resistance, while DRSC 1, in promoting photosynthesis and increasing yield.

The effects of geographical factors on the lowest temperature were studied, the distribution characteristics of the lowest temperature in the southeast of Fujian province were simulated, and thereby the climate freezing sections of orange were done. The countermeasures of avoiding freezing of orange were put forward also. The results showed that: the GIS that used to simulate the distribution characteristics of climate freezing sections of orange in the southeast of Fujian province were preferable. The distribution characteristics were that the freezing sections that were the most optimum planting section gradually became the possible ones from the southeast to the northwest, and the disagree ones did not exist; the lowest temperature was basically correlated to the latitudes in the regions.

A total of 116 loci，including 27 polymorphic ones，were detected from the five populations by using 14 primers.The average percentage of polymorphic loci to total DNA of the five populations was 23.3% .The results showed that the genetic similarity index of the five varieties of goldfish ranged between 0.818 and 0.8759 which was lowest (0.8759) between Grass goldfish and Red dragoneye goldfish,and their genetic distance was the highest(0.1241) that indicated the phylogenetic relationship was far; Red-head wen goldfish and White-head oval goldfish that the genetic similarity index was highest(0.9182) and the genetic distance was lowest(0.0818) was closer. Clustering analysis by both UPGMA method and NJ method showed that the phylogenetic relationship between Grass goldfish and Red dragoneye goldfish was quite near, as well as Red-head wen goldfish and White-head oval goldfish was near. These considerably are consistent with the evolutionary positions among these fishes. Both results were accordant.It`s important to study the genetic diversity of goldfish on its quality protection.

  Quantitative Evaluation on the Urban-rural Related Development of Northern Slope Economic Zone of Tian Mountain Zhang Jingjing, Chen Zhengjiang, Yang Degang 2007, 23 (2):  475-475.  Abstract + ( 1145 )   PDF ( 866484KB )   ( 594 ) In order to provide theoretical basis for the harmonious development of urban-rural regional system in northern slope economic zone of Tian Mountain, the quantitative evaluation of urban-rural related development was conducted by the main elemental analysis in this article. The results indicated that urban-rural related degree is much closely related to the urbanization level and per capita GDP, which is present positive relevance, and significant grade and spatial discrepancies were found among the urban-rural related developmental levels in northern economic zone of Tian Mountain. Furthermore, the results obtained by main elemental analysis are basically consistent with the current urban-rural related developmental level in northern slope economic zone of Tian Mountain, which indicated that the quantitative evaluation of urban-rural related development by the main elemental analysis is feasible.

The article takes Taishan Trees and Flowers Scientific and Technological Demonstration Districts in Shandong Province as an example and theories and methods in the planning and design of modern demonstration districts were analyzed and researched through the crossing and mixing of multi-subject in the planning and design of the demonstration districts. Compared to traditional agricultural demonstration districts planning, content of the modern agricultural demonstration districts is more adapted to the development demand of modern agriculture. Its function structure and the space layouts are more perfect, it can provide more economic, ecologic and social benefit and eventually it can achieve its self-maintenance and sustainable development.

I think this kind of partiality for peasants can not be ascribed to peasant's few legal consciousness, ignorant and backward behavior. It should be carried on overall analysis from two aspects of the behavioral host and system culture.
