The Defense Mechanism of Resistance Gene in Plant Type Three Secretion System

Abstract

Abstract: With the progress of research on plant disease-resistance mechanism and signaling pathway, more and more novel plant resistance genes have been cloned by molecular biology methods. The conservative structure, function, and interaction model of R gene and Avr (Avirulance) gene in TTSS(Type Three Secretion System.) were understood much deeply. Further research into the interaction between pathogen and host provide basis for better controlling of plant disease. This review briefly summarized the constituent of PRRs (Plant Recognition Receptors), conservative domains and classify of R (Resistance) gene, two models of the interaction between R and Avr gene, and the defense mechanisms. Then the author discussed the plant resistance mechanism in TTSS about R-genes and made an expectation.
