Abstract: 【OBJECTIVE】to find the change of land use in Zhengzhou suburb and its effect on the soil function; 【METHOD】take and the suburb area of Zhengzhou as an example, studied the change of land use and the effect to suburb soil function;【RESULTS】results showed that, 1988to2002 ,the proportion of all the land use is -25.71%, -31.21%, -39.20%, -30.46%, -57.59 %, 148.35%, 91.72, 50.87%, -16.93%, -56.44%. much land for agriculture become the land for construction, the change between soil production function and ecological functions, carrying conversion function, great deal of the production function of soil resources into carrying function.【CONCLUSION】because of the change of land use ,much Soil ecological functions will disappear, it will produce a series of ecological effects.
