Abstract: There are Edible plant resources in Maowusu sandland. In order to offer scientific foundation on using and protecting the Edible plant resources t resources of this region, this research want to know the types, quantity and using situation of Edible plant resources in Maowusu sandland, and bring forward protective measures and applied approachs. Through the way of all-round investigation about 5000km, 24 days in Maowusu sandland, we can use aboundant references and historical information to analyze, research and argument Edible plant resources. The result shows that there are 82 faculties, 229 categories and 320 genuses edible plants, thereinto, the genus of wild forage plants occupies 106 genuses, the most genus in edible plants, the next is potherb plants about 74 genuses, and protein plants is the least; This paper puts forward protective and exploiture measures of Edible plant resources in Maowusu sandland.
