Abstract: Aleurodicus disperses Russell was a new dangerous invasive insect of Hainan province. The action of pesticides against Aleurodicus disperses Russell was studied in order to depress and eradicate the population. The six normal pesticides of 2.5% deltamethrin EC, 20% imidacloprid SL , 480g/L chlorpyrifos EC, 1.8% abamectin EC, 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin SE and 20% acetamiprid SL were selected and their efficiency was compared by field trial. The result showed: the effect of 2.5% deltamethrin EC and 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin SE were the 94.09%~100% and 91.72%~100% respectively during 1 to 10 days after treatment while the effect of 20% imidacloprid SL and 1.8% abamectin EC were 32.24%~70.96% and -11.54%~21.54% respectively. 2.5% deltamethrin EC and 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin SE were the effective pesticides against Aleurodicus disperses Russell with the quicker and more persistent action while 20% imidacloprid SL and 1.8% abamectin EC were unsuitable for using because of lower action.
