Abstract: In this paper, PCR primers were designed based on the sequence of a single copy in atp6 gene. A 500bp fragment was amplified, and then the PCR products were digested with restriction enzym BglII. A fragment of 60bp was detected in cytoplasmic male sterility in petaloid type carrot with gene. CAPS marker was developed based on the polymorphism of restriction sites. The molecular marker could be used for marker assistance selection in male sterility carrot breeding.
