Abstract: Allozymic variation of 286 pear materials were investigated using vertical slab polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. 82 alleles of 19 loci in 8 enzyme systems were detected. All loci are polymorphic. The maxium number of alleles in a locus is 6. The result demonstrated a rich genetic diversity in pear germplasm. some specific alleles were detected in different population. Based on multi-locos genotype fingerprinting cultivars with82 alleles, 286 pear materials were clear identified, suggesting allozyme is a useful marker for peach cultivars identification.
