Abstract: The results of a systematic field investigation showed that the species of arthropods were rather rich in rape fields during the whole growth and development period of rape .There were 52 species of arthropods belonging to 32 families and 10 orders. The Homoptera had the greatest relative abundance with the relative abundance index of 0.823, and next came the Dipterans with the index of 0.114.The results of fuzzy cluster analysis showed that the arthropod communities in rape fields in time sequence could be classified into 4 types as the dynamic type of community establishment period, the dynamic type of mass arthropod immigration period, the dynamic type of severe aphid occurrence period and the dynamic type of relatively stable period.
