Abstract: The effects of greenhouse and bagging on the fruit quality, the pigment content in peel, and the nutrient contents in fruit of ‘Cuiguan’ pear were studied. The results showed that greenhousing could improve the fruit quality especially in the increase of fructose, starch, Vc, and protein contents etc. Bagging decreased both the single fruit weight and the nutrients in it. Both greenhousing and bagging could cause much decrease of chlorophyll and carotene contents in fruit peel. The treatment of de-bagging after bagging was not applicable for ‘Cuiguan’ pear production in practice.
