Abstract: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) plays a significant role in food safety and is popularized in the world in recent years. Many countries have adopted GAP meet their national characteristics. China has also implemented a formal "Good Agricultural Practices" (CHINAGAP). Since China's traditional agriculture is still dominant, such a large number of scattered farmers conduct an independent production and operation that hinders the effective promotion of CHINAGAP. This article compares professional farmers' cooperatives with leading enterprises, and believes that the former can promote traditional agriculture structural adjustment and be more conducive to the promotion of CHINAGAP than the later in the "company plus households" model.
