Abstract: Melissopalynology is an important branch of palynology, dealing with the pollen in honey. It is extensively applied to identification of the botanical and geographical origin of honey, examination of honey quality, recognization of toxic honey source etc. This paper reviews the advances in melissopalynology at home and abroad during the past twenty years.
