Abstract: To understand the control effect of insecticides against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, 23 products were tested in rice through field spray. The results showed that, 20 days after single spray, among the 23 insecticides tested, E2Y45, emamectin benzoate, abamectin, and fipronil got the control effect above 90%; dichlorvos, phoxim, chlorpyrifos, profenofos, fenitrothion, acephate, triazophos, quinalphos, trichlofon, monosultap, hexaflumuron, and fenobucarb were between 80%~90%. It was concluded that, if the insecticides were applied in the right time, most of them could effectively prevent the attack by Cnaphalocrocis medinalis in rice.
