Abstract: The behavior and habit of the adult Tirathaba rufivena Walker were observated in laboratory condition. The results showed that eclosion mainly occurred from 20:00 to 5:00 hours, and peaked from 20:00 to 22:00 hours. Both males and females were able to mate from 1-day -old to 5-day -old, and peaked on second night after emergence. Daily mating activity occurred from 20:00 to 6:00 hours，and peaked from 1:00 to 3:00 hours. Mating duration of adult lasted from 15 to 130 minutes, with an average of 83.53 minutes. The adult oviposited in the evening, average laying eggs were 429. The longevity of female and male adults was 12.13 days and 11.45 days，respectively.
