Abstract:

Abstract: The natural rubber is one of the more important industrial raw materials, also it is important and strategic supplies which relates to the national security and economic development. In this study, mRNAs were isolated form the tissues of rubber latex and rubber leaves, and their cDNA were hybridized with microarray, and the results indicted that 105 genes were up-regulated in rubber latex, including elongation factor Tu, sterol 24-C-methyltransferase,thioredoxin H-type 1, zinc finger (C3HC4-type RING finger) family protein etc. and 151 genes were down- regulated in rubber leaves. The results have the significant practice on discovering rubber latex expression related genes and rubber biosynthesis-related genes, and which make a good foundation to study the mechanism of rubber biosynthesis.
