Abstract:

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS) is viral pestilence，obstacling to breeding sows and piglets serious respiratory symptoms and high mortality. Its incidence and prevalence of the pig farming industry cause enormous economic losses, it has become more serious viral disease. Timely and accurate detection of the disease in order to take corresponding measures are the key to the success of disease control. This article reviews the serum study, etiology, molecular biology, etc. to clarify the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome detection technology, in order to veterinary clinical diagnosis and treatment.
