Abstract:

In order to investigate the effects of sod culture on mineral nutrition in leaves and fruit quality of citrus, in this study, clean tillage was taken as control, concentrations of mineral elements in leaves and fruit quality of ponkan(Citrus reticulata)under sod culture were determined and analyzed. The results showed that K, P, B contents were very significantly higher in leaves of ponkan from sod culture than from tillage orchard, whereas Cu content was significantly lower than that from tillage orchard, other elements such as Mg, S, Fe, Zn, Cu and Mn have no significant differences between sod culture and tillage orchard. The titratable acidity of fruit was significantly lower from sod culture than from tillage, while the ratio of sugar to titratable acidity of fruit significantly increased in planting grass plot. Thus, it’s suggested that leaf K, P, B contents and ratio of sugar to titratable acidity of citrus fruit increase from sod culture orchard, compared to the tillage orchard.
