Abstract:

Based on the meteorological data of Qitai from 1961 to 2000，the change characteristics of the mean temperature and precipitation was statistically analyzed．It was concluded that the climate was warming up in Qitai, particular after 1986s and warming up in winter was most significantly．The precipitation was increasing and with a significant trend．From1961 to 1984 was a period of spare precipitation and a fluctuated increase from 1985 to 2000.The first frost date was delay．The active accumulated temperature of≥100c steadily decreased. These characters would affect the layout and structure of agricultural production and crop planting．
