Abstract:

The thirty isolates of enterococcus-like collected from fifty-two raw retail fresh pork in different farm product marker in Zhengzhou city during in 2007~2008, were investigated and identified by observing their morphological and cultivating characteristics and biochemical determination with Vitek-32 system. 16 of 30 isolates were E. faecalis, 4 of 30 isolates were E. faecium, 6 of 30 isolates were E.casseliflavus and eachtwo of 30 isolates was E.avium and E. gallinarum, respectively. Drug sensitivity suggested that all isolates were sensitivity to nitrofurantoin, vancomycin, teicoplanin and ampicillin and majority of isolates were resistance to tetracycline, kanamycin and erythromycin. The known virulence gene of cylA、gelE、efaA、ace、AS and esp for E. faecalis were detected and number of virulence gene among the isolates were different, number 7 possess all virulence gene tested and no virulence gene was detected in number 12, other range from were 1~5,respectively.
